Since all of this is subjective and most of these I haven't watched, I can only write about what I know. I love Zhao Lu Si and I know she can play "the girl next door" character very well. However, Hidden Love was nothing memorable as I have seen her play this same role over and over again. Also, I could not get past Zhao Lu Si's voice when she is supposed to be grown up. For me, she still sounded like a 15 year old. Was this intentional by the director? I don't know, but it made it hard to watch and believe that her character had actually grown up. In addition, her character keeps saying," But I've grown up." If you have to keep reminding people that you have grown up, have you really grown up? This is just my opinion, and I am glad that people have enjoyed this drama.
On the flip side of this, the brother actually had a more interesting story. What is he hiding?

I understand what you are saying, but that is not what I am referring to. I have worked in a nice hotel, and I would have never gone to the bathroom in a guest's hotel room, especially while it was occupied. In addition to what she said to him, which I don't remember, she would have been fired immediately. These two scenes made it unrealistic for me. Plus once I understood the premise of the story, I could then predict what would happen in the end. If I can predict what will happen within the first two episodes, than the story line is not for me. If you have ever watched Love Like a Galaxy, you would understand what I mean.

However, I am glad you and others enjoyed it.

I lost interest in King the Land after the second episode. If an employee had done what that girl did, she would have been fired on the spot. This made the drama very unrealistic to me from the start.
