Just another romcom not so different from other ones, they had a good plot in their hands but they hide it till the end and focus instead on the same old cliché, a boss who has a phobia and people who try to steal his work position. So why I didn't drop it like other romcom? Because the cast did a really good job into entertaining me to the end despite the boring plot, specially the main leads interaction were great, both before and after being a couple . A special mention deserved the side character VERONICA PARK! Whose expressions will be remembered forever in dramalands !
What a mess, totally unbalanced, it looks like they didn't know if to write an historical or a time travel. They give tons of screentime to everyone beside the 4 main leads. Right now I am watching only for Han Seul Gi's story and her brother, they make me laugh! But I do not know if I can endure any longer, I basically fast foward most of the show so what's the point in watching it ?!?
Does anyone else skip the Liz/Kyro scenes or is it just me?
Yes for now lol I am only on ep. 4 I find Badz and Simle’s falling in love more natural while Kyro seems like he is just playing with Liz, like she is his crush of the month. He will probably fall harder for her but right now I like more Badz and Smile scenes. I am watching only for them cause the overall plot is really childish, like a giant old style cliché.
Well even if a have watched a few historical I still am not so good with korean history, but I loved the crazy king (Jungjong) on “queen for seven days” Are there other show only about him or his period? I know he was king for little time cause he was a tyrant.
The only one that I am waiting for a long time is “when the devils calls your name” I have always been intrigued by this “sell the soul to devil” thing, specially considering the infamous musician list about it. But the cast is also a plus to watch it!
For the rest, I will probably try out every other upcoming kdrama but the only one that caught my interest by spamming advertising is “hotel de Luna”. I love IU her poster and photo are great.
Someone suggest me the BL the theory of love but I have too much backlog right now.
I really tought Lee Jong suk was an idol before but it actually just trained for a limited period of time. It was courage to decline the offers to debut as an idol and follow his dream to work as an actor.
Oh I need to recover a few of this show and update my list of badass characters!
My idea of antihero is that the character must be someone who act really badly, and he is mean and cruel, but the result he generate with his action are overall good at the end of the day.
I loved the article, I like to call myself a fan of Bruce Lee cause since I was little, every year, I watched all of his movies with my father, brother and often cousins. It was a tradition, therefore I knew a lot about his life in movies, martial arts and books. But in truth I am not a real fan, I do not know everything and I stopped that tradition long time ago, now I just watch some YouTube video when they came up.
I love this quote: "A goal is not always meant to be reached, it often serves simply as something to aim at."
It’s true, setting a goal help us to focus and work hard for something, which give us experience despite reaching or not that goal in the end. but it’s also true that some people born with talent that allow them to reach and excel in many fields. Bruce Lee was one of this people.
I liked the article cause despite my constant complaining about cliché on dramas I actually miss old dramas! It’s like missing the shows you watch as a teenager, I like recent ones, some improve a lot the overall quality, but that nostalgic feeling for older stuff never left me. I watched all the show you mention and I like all of them beside full house. It’s the only series that I really can’t take. =P
They had a good story about the Euldoguk secret society in their hand and what they did? They cover it up for 12 episodes filling the plot with endless scheming and now that the show is ending they explain and wrap things up. This is something I will never get about kdrama, they write good stories but they can’t develop them well within the duration of the whole drama. I would have loved to see more about the operations made by this society. -.-
First thing, how many episodes have you watched?I didn't like the first one that much, the second one was better, everything…
I watched all 6 episoded aired. This is my final comment about the show after dropping it. I always leave a comment when I completed a show or dropped one to give other people a general idea on how the show is and how my opinion is. Positive or negative.
Between all shows on air this is the one that is receiving more backlash. Not only here but on social media as well, so objectively speaking the statistics about this show are, at the moment, negative. If the numbers will change, than it will became and remain just my personal opinion.
Of course personal taste are personal, so I accept the fact that someone may like something that majority consider not good. It also happened often to me to do not like what majority liked.
Why people who have different opinion must be haters??
This drama has seriously flaw in the plot and in the meanwhile is sending wrong messages.
Firstly they jocke on the suicide theme and secondly they sell the image that being slim and beautiful can lead you to accomplish better things in life. I agree that being fat can be hard and struggling in modern society, but a FL who want to suicide and magically change her attitude overnight after using a perfume is not a good way to talk about this topic. Beside she is not even trying to overcome her struggling, she just want to enjoy her new body till she can, once the perfume is gone she already set up her mind to die. Such important themes are treat with supeficiality and a lot of comedy.
The plot is full of cliché and it’s a mess of coincidences created just to justify their living together. The whole plot is written to allow them to live tons of comedy moments and fall in love in the process, all the rest of the cast is just working for that to happens. Beside modeling and do housekeeping for this “psycho” boss, what is the plot about? Nothing. It’s another of those romance comedy that didn’t know how to stand up in the sea and create a mess of a plot to try to get noticed.
Some of us can’t overcome all this stuff just because the cast is good and bring a good comedy, a drama is not only about that.
I disagree on rating a drama still airing and also don’t approve who downvote just because they don’t like something about the show. But objectively speaking this is not one of the best kdrama made this year. Definitely the worst between all on air kdramas
Shin Sung Rok and Ha Jae Sook should really have their own comedy show with a good plot. They are the only good part about this drama. But good acting is not enough to fill the void left by a messy plot. A drama to be considered good it must be good in all aspects.
They are not even really dating and people are already opposing and meddling. Do they really think they can go on with this plot for another 7 episodes? Come on, she want to broke up, just let her do it and move on with the new relationship. The prejudice in this one will be worse than something in the rain, we don’t have only parents against it but also the ex. I need to be prepared for frustration!
Great the double interpretation of Lee Yoo Ri and Uhm Ji Won in the duo BonBon! But the acting of Lee Yoo Ri stands out for the whole drama, in particular Kim Bo Mi is one of the best roles ever made in a kdrama. The plot is complex but not complicated, always fun and never predictable with many twist plots that change the perspective without deviating too much from the main plot. The swap body is also one of the most original proposed so far. Great work by all the cast, but the entire script is governed by the great acting of these two actresses. This is one of the best interpretations ever seen in a kdrama. If you love comedy, sassy roles and great acting this is a must watch.
I really hope the history will change because in a lot of Kdramas with time travels topic I have always the feeling…
I would be glad if they start to show us mor about the characters who came from the future, then there is time to make theory about what will happens to Im Kkeok Jeong, definitely I didn't like how they open the show with this scene where he is supposed to stay behind in the past.
Because the cast did a really good job into entertaining me to the end despite the boring plot, specially the main leads interaction were great, both before and after being a couple .
