Glad I am not the only one to think they need to involved the “future” people more in the past history.
4 espisodes and we basically saw an historical drama instead of a time travel. The past characters stole a lot of screentime.

I also think is about past life. In another time he met a girl who looks like her. Cause if I recall correctly he said that after loosing her he spent more than 12 year trying to kill himself before start living again.
So he happened in Ji Kang Woo’s past as an angel.

So the “major plan” involved them being related from childhood, didn’t expect any less by a kdramaland’s deity! xD

I think the real mission wasn’t to find her a lover but to help her open her heart once again with people.

I am really enjoying this one, it gives me contrast feeling cause I want it to happens but I know is not right, at least not at the moment when she is still indecisive. I like how they are portraying human flaws and my reaction to them is also human.

What a mess of genres and clichés:

- An ajumma without confidence with a cheating husband and ungrateful daughter

- Fantasy element save the day, she uses a profume that allow her to swap body into her (supposedly) younger self.

- She met the rude, rich and arrogant ML who suffers from tons of allergies and phobias because of a trauma of the past. Supposedly childehood connection, maybe the reason he hates her!?

-For revenge he takes her to his house and of course he live in a super fancy apartment but also super dirty !?!? Because it is totally normal to have your house in that condition, right?
Beside how in his head leave her in a dirty house can be considered a form of revenge, cleaning is scary? The only reason behind it is product placement, we are not supid writer/director.

- So they just met, they don't get along but of course they decide to cohabit (another genre thrown out there)

- He treats her badly but she reacts and stays because she want to enjoy her younger self, instead of worries about the fact that she is missing from her house from days, what about her daughter, she is not worried at all?!?!

- In the meanwhile the ML is associeated in a bad relationship with the other ML, an idol the FL has a crush for, we also get some random special effect about the fact that crazy fangirling is not true love. (HPL copycat?)

I was waiting so much to see Shin Sung Rok as the first main lead why he had to choosed this, same for Ha Jae Sook, it's hard to see her as a main role, why pick up this one?

Welcome back, I already do most of the suggestions, I have other interest beside drama and I never choosed a drama only for the cast, maybe I try it to see how it is but I have no problem to drop it if I don’t like it, favorite actor or not ;)

I also go back to watch other Asian countries production, something I had completed stopped to do after finding kdrama, but I realize two things:

1. Watching Only kdrama can bring me to overdose
2. Watching Only kdrama don’t give me a good prospective on what is a good production and what is not. There are other Asian country production that are better develop than some kdrama I loved.

Overall I understand your feeling, I am also someone who some days is super active and have tons of interest and some days is just a big NO to everything. To all people who may suffer from anxiety or “moodiness” I don’t know how to make this disappear, but I am changing my bad habits and It helps.
Simple thing like going to bad at the same hour, do sport, eat healthy, little step at a time, I am not changing drastically.
My last idea was to buy a tapi roulant so I can walk while watching drama and reduce my hours on the couch.
Maybe it’s stupid, I will let you know if it work when It will arrive

Wonderful article like the first part. Even if some statistics were pretty obvious, I was totally shock about the low percentage about boss/employee romance tag, but you explain very well why it is low, tons of show have that element but actually doesn’t end up within the requirement as “set in a work place”. And some show are boss/employee but not romance, my mind know this eventuality exists but at the same time always think from the romance POV! LoL
The other shocking statistic was the childhood connection, I tought it was more used in the early 2000s dramas but it actually increased hugely in recent time.

Not surprised at all about the ML being always in charge with a better status and also the cohabitation cliché dropped significantly over the last 10 years.

I get there are more profound stuff behind the story and right now she is not really cheating.

But despite her distress her behavior is not so immaculate. I don’t like a woman who filter with another man while discussing marriage with the current boyfriend.

Actually I find the vibe very similar to something in the rain, overall slow, a bit sad with a good soundtrack that unfortunately is starting to get boring cause they only use the same songs. While something in the rain have more tracks.
Even if the main concept is similar, 30 years old people dealing with love life, the plot itself is very different so you should try at leas the first episodes.
