What i read from ppl who have read the book. CSS set up a trap as revenge which ended up with the 5th princess covered in dirt & waste. The empress then found out about what her daughter did to CSS and got angry at her daughter and asked her to leave. The preview editing was done in away like the empress was angry at CSS but actually the empress was dressing down the 5th princess. If you look at CSS' expression in the preview. She didn't look too shocked or upset so I'm very sure the empress was scolding her daughter and not her.

The consolation is that after ep 38, CSS will understand her feelings for LBY better and they will have more intimate scenes, incl the one on the bed in the poster

He has a very cynical outlook in live and it shows in his nasty comments. He appears arrogant, egocentric and rude but actually deep down he has a damaged soul. Like CSS he needs tender loving care from someone. CSS gets it from her 3rd aunt, empress and LBY but YS doesn't have anyone. His many admirers are just superficially fan girling him. What he needs is someone he cares for to truly care for him.

He is actually a very good actor. Just the character he is playing is not likeable to some.

I'm wondering the same thing. What happened that made LBY suddenly mention this? The scene prior was about CSS protecting the empress. When WL's mother attacked LBY, CSS even defended him by saying that he earned all the respect and credits on the battlefield. LBY heard CSS defending him and he seemed pleased. In the carriage he was attending to her hand wound then they had this conversation about the empress wouldn't have been wounded anyway even if CSS hadn't jumped in etc. And, suddenly LBY wants to take his heart back (huh) ? Or was LBY upset that CSS decided to protect the empress w/o taking her own safety in consideration and therfore, never considered him if something would to happen to her?

We also need to acknowledge the actor who is acting YS' role. He fits the role perfectly and his acting has made it possible for us to loath and like him at the same time.

Or it could be LBY's own thoughts. Remember he was at the tower and drinking reminiscing his time with CSS too. So I interpreted the montage as a mixture of CSS and LBY thoughts because the montage also included items which only LBY knows, e. g. LBY eavesdropping on WQQ and CSS convo.

It's a nice poster but he has to be vertical to fit MDL.
