Believe she is crying not because of self pity but because she is frustrated. She knows what HZJ went thru and the sacrifices the He family made. She is therefore willing to let LY go but that doesn't mean that she can't be frustrated about the whole situation on why it has to be her "again" to sacrifice for the greater good. Remember, she was sacrificed before, i.e. abondoned by her parents, for the greater good.
