I'm fed up waiting for a never coming kiss scene. I swear the producers are doing it on purpose and not for making…
Exactly, but the drama was building up thier relationship really well for their intimate scene though. The last time we got a warm intimate scene was at the end of episode 7, when Thyme and Gorya made up and Thyme embraces Gorya saying "how can I stay mad at you, you're the the one I love". Now that they are officially together there seems to be a lack of intimacy that was needed in episode 12 :( I love warm embraces hugs and and agree they can be just as intimate as sweet innocent kisses!

I don't want to assume something without knowing the truth but this is really weird and now this kinda obvious…
Yeah, I agree; I think the pacing of this remake is probably the biggest flaw to me. The drama should have cleared up the lita/fiance arc FIRST before Thyme asked Gorya out and gave her the neckless so they can then kiss. That's what usually would have happened in the story. The writers are cramming all the story arcs into one episode since they have limited time by having only 16 episodes and forgetting to finish those arcs up. the audience, like us, are just getting frustrated/dissatisfied over the progress in Thyme and Gorya's relationship, which did show the potential of having a strong development like in the first 7-8 episodes, which are pretty great at showing their relationship growth, but the ep 9-12, the writers were just cramming a lot of things from the story at once. This could be why we are seeing a lot of missed opportunities for them to kiss. :(

Yes!!! That would have been so adorable and the highlight of episode 12, such wasted opportunity to not do that!
I like their bickering, it's what makes them fun to watch since they act like a old married couple but I get what you mean. I think the problem is that there's more bickering and less romance between them lately, it should be more of a balance.

Yeah, there maybe a reason to it. It just doesn't make sense, the drama has covered all the material in the story so they can kiss anyway

Imagine the power if ThymeGorya would kiss, their chemistry have always been OUT OF THIS WORLD ever since ep 1…
YES EXACTLY, their chemistry is soo good!! It's just sad how we have to wait so long for them to finally kiss :(

Omg, the last scene when Thyme helped Gorya put her necklace on and Gorya saying yes to date him was the perfect opportunity for them to have their first official kiss!! I'm disappointed cause that whole scene was so fluffy and romantic; why did the scriptwriters not think about adding a kiss scene!? I'm not the type who prefers to have a lot of kiss scenes in a drama, but it's already episodes 12, and they still haven't kissed yet?!

We did not have to wait sooo long for the main leads to kiss in the other versions finally. That's because it would always happen when the main leads confirmed their relationship to start officially dating( manga, BOF, Hana Yori Dango, meteor garden).

It's not a big deal if we have to wait until the last episodes cause it will hype us up, which is fine and something to look forward to while watching. However, we may get the famous 2nd breakup rain scene and only 4 episodes left?! Since the story is already going this fast pace, there should at least be one kiss before we reach the last episode :(

Female lead Confession to Male lead:• Meteor Garden 2001 - Ep 19 (season 1 ending - after all the obstacles,…
Exactly!! Hana yori dango confession scene from the FL was the most sincere, romantic, and satisfying of all the versions!!
Hopefully Gorya won't drag her confession either. Not to mention how she isn't as in-denial over her feelings for Thyme compared to how the FL were in meteor garden and BOF.

Meteor Garden was not the first boys over flower adaption I watched; however, I greatly appreciate how it was very close to the manga; despite the time it was released and the manga not completed with a clear ending back in 2001, Meteor Garden still did a good job! Plus, the ost is a classic like "qing fei de yi" <3

In every drama adaption I watched, I always thought Ren's character should have stayed in France! But I think it's also important for him to come back so Gorya can finally get over her last bit of feelings for him before getting together with Thyme. But we all know Gorya is already slowing falling in love with Thyme anyway!

Oh nooooo i hate that scene. In every version its like Makino character cut through his heart very deeply. Even…
Right! Thyme and Gorya's dynamic is just so perfect, their personalities may clash but also complete each others. <3

Yess I'm really looking forward to the next episode, it will be pretty heated with the tension between Thyme and Ren. Plus Gorya needs to fully get over Ren too before officially getting together with Thyme.

Exactly! The betrayal scene always pissed me off so much in the manga and BOF/Meteor Garden!! I'm so glad the Thai version is following the Japanese storyline by completing cutting out the entire beach arc!!

I’m in 2022 - and loving it so far LOL. I guess thats the ‘magic’ of jdrama - though its ‘old’ but its…
Exactly!! The theme of bullying, friendship and youth stories presented are still worth checking out today. There is a special charm to old Jdramas from the 2000s that I absolutely love about like this one!

In this version, Thyme is so soft to Gorya, with the sweet gazes he gives her. The pacing of their relationship is so similar to Makino and Tsukasa in the Japanese version(Hana Yori Dango), I love it so much!! <3

@TEXTFROMYOUREX watch the Japanese one when you get the chance, it's worth the watch despite it being a older version! It's personally my favorite out of all the adaptions, short, good acting and chemistry!

Yasss, I was getting total HYD vibes from the Thai version too by how dark and good fast pace they both are! :D
For real!! HYD is my favorite adaptations and I love that the thai version has similar vibes with how intense and fast pace it's going by not dragging out the story which I personally disliked alot with the other drama adaptations. Hoping the Thai version continues to stay true to HYD storyline.
