The main couple became boring to watch once they got together. I never thought I'd be more invested in the secondary couple when getting into the drama; they are so cute and hilarous together! XD
PLEASE DO NOT HESITATE TO WATCH THIS DESPITE IT BEING A MUCH OLDER DRAMA. I watched it in 2021, and I think it aged pretty well. I feel bad sleeping on this drama for so long!! The friendship and comedy are so danm good! I didn't even notice how fast I binged the whole drama until I finished the last episode XD

LSG and Suzy did star in a historical supernatural drama back in 2013 called "Gu family book"! Their chemistry is great there too, and it has a lot more romance compared to Vagabond. Check it out sometime; it's a good watch! :D

Sorry for the late reply, been offline due to college midterms. RIGHT! HYD was fantastic in every way compared to the other drama remakes. Yeah, you probably won't miss much with skipping meteor garden 2001. YES, oh, I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks that Meteor garden 2018 is the WORST like it's soo bad I don't understand why the story is dragged soo much to 50 episodes?! So many stupid extra storylines added there. At least the Korean version did better than that!

Right! I loved the pacing of the story for HYD and how it didn't drag on like crazy compared to the other adaptions, which got annoying to watch at times XD Also, HYD had the best acting and chemistry! Tsukasa and Makino were just the cutest, and you just had to root for them all the way <3 Personally, the Taiwanese version was not bad but could have been better. Give it a try if you ever want to check it out. I think It's better than Meteor garden 2018 version. Lol well, both options are good; it would be nice if you want to wait and save a special day to watch the movie :D I remember I watched the movie the very next day after seeing S2 since I was too excited to see more of what's left XD The movie is a fun watch because there is no heavy drama, and I always end up rewatching it at least once a year whenever I miss seeing HYD again haha.
Yasss! I have watched all the boys over flower adaptions but HYD will always be the best version for me! I totally agree with you points, especially when you mentioned the last episode where they recreated the elevator scene word by word. It was just soo sweet; I remember I was so overwhelmed with joy when he got his memory back, and they finally got together again!! :D Have you checked out the movie? It's titled "Hana Yori Dango Final" It's perfect to watch after finishing the S2 of HYD since you get to see the final conclusion to Makino and Tsukasa's love story at the end!

Oh god, I regret sleeping on this drama for so long! The storyline is just so unique and engaging to watch, plus I'm a sucker for time travel concepts, which this drama pulled off really well! :D
