This was an unexpected pleasure. The average rating caused me to ignore it, but then I noticed all the quality…
I'm not sure what to think about the two sentences about Jeon Do Yeon and nudity in your one comment. I mean, I guess it's kind of a compliment that you're saying she exudes sexuality even with her clothes on, but I don't think it was necessary make a point about being surprised that she keeps her clothes on in this movie. Female actors have enough shit to deal with in this industry.
RIBB was such a good drama both times for me, even though I almosr dropped it the first time...
I was kind of frustrated with it the first time - I don't really know what I was expecting but I had only seen like fifteen or so K-dramas by that point so I might have had unrealistic expectations - but the second time I watched it I had seen over a hundred K-dramas and as many K-movies, and I was able to let go of any expectations and just enjoy it. And it is such a lovely story and the main couple has great chemistry.
Every once in a while I love a drama more the second time I watch it. I thought Romance Is A Bonus Book was just ok the first time I saw it, but upon rewatching I realized that I actually loved it and I saw a bunch of little details that I had missed the first time. Personally I think romances are easier to rewatch than mysteries or thrillers, for obvious reasons. :-)
This id so cool, I see several tittls there that are reoccuring here. Now I feel like I want to learn what makes…
Which are the ones that are reoccurring? I've seen Marriage Not Dating (which I rewatch a lot) and I'm curious which other titles you're seeing on here.
I rewatch my favorites over and over again, whenever I need a palette cleanser or to either feel happy or sad, depending on my mood. My favorites are easy to rewatch because I know what I'm going to feel like when I rewatch them, and that's reassuring. Here's my rewatch list: https://kisskh.at/list/3rWV6ME4
Hope they do. Don't have to make everything like the West.
They’re not ALL like soft porn now, that’s a huge oversimplification and not actually accurate. And my original comment still stands, that other cultures might (gasp) want to show intimate scenes because they just want to and not because of your claim.

Because we’re the only ones who have sex, right?! (Btw, I thought the scene in SG was very unnecessary but other cultures have sex too and sometimes want to show that onscreen…like many, many K-movies I’ve seen.) The West is responsible for a lot, but isn’t at fault for *everything*
I have no idea where this is going, but I love it already!! It's *ridiculously* adorable, off-the-charts quirky, and darkly hilarious. I lost track of how many times I laughed out loud - loudly - during the first two episodes. The little details so far are the best, (specifics under a spoiler tag below), and the acting is not too much (for a manga-based drama) - not too little, but just right. I've seen all of the other dramas this is being compared to, (and I liked them all), but this isn't the same as any of them.
Hmm no. you are ignorant, "And to the people complaining for Africa, sensitivity isnt our trait. Stop being angry…
I hear you - lots of places in the world have extremely limited water supplies and electricity issues. In fact, in the US, where I am, there are many places without clean water and that have rolling blackouts - often. It's awful and unjust for lots of reasons (and all humans deserve to have clean water.) But the world's media doesn't portray all of the US like this, and make constant generalizations about how poor we are, and about how ALL of our country is a helpless mess steeped in "darkness" and in need of saviors from the rest of the world. It's not a one to one scenario, of course, because our different contexts have different needs and different root reasons for what's plaguing communities at any given time. But we here in the US get the benefit of the doubt even though we have many, many (many!) issues with water and power in some places (and climate change will make it worse in other places.) And the continent of Africa doesn't get the same benefit of the doubt in its treatment in our media here (although it's getting slightly better slowly) and I've seen this same perspective in K-dramas more than once or twice before. There are places a lot closer to where this particular character comes from than "Africa" that have significant issues with water (and resource exploitation from outsiders) but it seems to always be this same tired old storyline.

(PS: I know why, but it still pisses me off.) #dropped
