This drama starts out a bit confusing since jumps from the 3 points in the life of the characters. Even though initially I was confused it was still interesting how different the characters were, it made you want to keep watching to figure out what happened. I rated the show a 8/10 which is pretty high for me these days, I also watched another 2 dramas from Kira Shi after seeing this.
The show was good but they just kept adding episodes for no reason it seems. I gave up at episode 30 and rated it a 7.0 because of how long they drew out the story. I would've liked maybe 25 episodes but chinese dramas always add too many filler episodes so I never finish them.
I rated it a 10 out of 10. I don't give those out very often anymore since I've watched 9600+ episodes of asian dramas. This had only 8 episodes each episode was around 20 minutes long. The story was told at a very very quick pace which is why I rated it so high since it never felt boring. Lots of dramas, especially chinese ones, add in so much unnecessary parts that I rarely even finish a show these days. This had maybe zero filler, everything was to the point. The show is very easy to watch so I highly recommend it to anyone looking for something fresh.
9 out of 10 for me. It has an original story and does not last longer than needed. I kind of feel it doesn't have much rewatch value though so I doubt I will ever watch it again but I definitely enjoyed it.
Am I watching a different show!!! Am on ep 6 and barely holding on. Too slow and boring. But the comments here…
I love time travel shows and the first couple of episodes were pretty boring and predictable for time loops but it did get more interesting. It could've been around the point you are at right now when it picks up, don't remember the exact point. I definitely feel like the show lived up to the hype up till episode 12 though. But now I feel like now the show has done pretty much all it can do and there are still episodes left.....
7.5 / 10.0 for me... The first half focused on the girl and her life which was interesting but then the second half starts focusing a lot on the career of the guy which I found extremely boring.
yeah i guess this show has lots of villain , ji soo is one of the top student and wanna to find some money buy…
You are really making wild guesses without watching which is impossible. The character interactions are extremely complicated, this is not like some random romantic drama.
I would suggest just watch the show.
Min Hee was the least morally ambiguous character, I would say she was the only true good person, definitely not a bully. Just a kid in a horrible situation trying to find any happiness. She wasn't kind during school but she wasn't a bully. It would be more accurately to say she spoke roughly but acted more indifferently to others during school. Not because she is a mean person but because her life outside of school is far more difficult than anyone's problems in school so its hard to care about speaking politely to others..
In the end Min Hee was going to report the main guy and girl. She met the main guy to discuss it on stairs and records him. A bit after he hears her listening to it while she is still on the stairs. He tries to convince her to only report him and not Gyu Ri, she refuses, the struggle, she falls down and hits her head.
The ending can somewhat be viewed as hopeful, which is probably as happy as you can expect with how bad things get towards the end. Hopeful as in.. Min Hee might be alive, Gyu Ri is alive, Ji Soo is hurt but together with Gyu Ri, although the cops know they are guilty so will be trying to find them.
I find the first episode of so many shows boring so if I feel like dropping the show I just skipped through it quickly. If I miss anything important it doesn't matter if I am likely dropping the show but sometimes I will find something interesting that keeps me watching.
Honestly the first episode can be skipped completely in my opinion. The second episode starts at a more enticing point and its not too too difficult to learn what you missed from the first episode eventually.
Overall it has a happy ending, just not the happy ending that was expected from the first half of the movie. I put this is spoiler tags since its kind of obvious what that means. He doesn't end up with the first girl but a girl introduced half way through the movie. They don't just suddenly end up together so I didn't have a problem with it. I usually hate when second leads end up with the main lead but I definitely did not feel that at all here. The first girl never once showed she liked the main guy.
The summary above is trash here is a more accurate NON SPOILER SUMMARY about the first 15% of the movie.
It is about a guy who was in love with a girl who was dating a bully. He confesses to her saying he will love her forever while getting beat up by the bully, then there is a time jump to a year later or something and the girl comes to find him. She tells him she is pregnant and the bully guy is the father but he doesn't want to be involved. She wants to keep it and wants the main character to be the father since she was touched when he confessed to her about loving her forever.
Now for my review.. It start's out with some random musical comedy stuff early on which was really annoying and I skipped through it quickly to reach the point where she asks him to be the dad. After that it is far less ridiculous but still tells a realistic story in an realistic fashion. I enjoyed it, definitely thought I would drop it after the first bit but I finished it.
Dropped the show at episode 44. It is watchable but not interesting at all. The characters are very 1 dimensional, they are always making completely predictable decisions which makes it pointless to watch after you understand their characters. Female lead is flawless, male lead is flawless, aunt is flawless, grandma is flawless, dad is an idiot but kind, mom is evil, mom 2 is biased towards her real kid, and the second girl is evil. Once you understand that pretty much every decision is predictable. Not a spoiler to mention that since its obvious in the first couple of episodes.
EDIT: Decided to skip through a bit in each episode to finish it. I really disliked so many things about this drama but for some reason still felt like finishing it.
Just watched it for the second time. I had a note the show is "short and cute" from my first watch and.. I would say that is a perfect description after watching it again.
This is a drama that hasn't aged well... and the horrible title does nothing to help it!
I disagree. I just finished watching it for like the 6th time yesterday and it was still as good as the first time. So many dramas these days add in irrelevant characters, irrelevant storylines, small role character type "scene stealers" etc. Every character here is cast perfectly in my opinion and more importantly it feels like the show is telling just one story, the story of the two main characters.
I felt the romance & family love in the drama was lacking.. The story was good, all those radio lines were great...…
The older sister never wanted to divorce she was forced into it. Even though she married him for his money she obviously developed feelings for him during their decade together since the husband treated her well. We didn't see many scenes during that time but we did see how the husband wanted to constantly go on trips together where ever she wanted to go.
The problem in their relationship was that she chose to abandon her family so she was never happy with the situation. She felt he should be the one to bring it up and I imagine he felt she should be the one who introduces him to her family so they were never truly happy.
Please stop this, you really thought HJP will be the ML after watching trailer ,posters etc..
You stop it.
Just because you watch trailers, look at posters, and whatever etc is doesn't mean everyone else does. I just randomly watched the first episode since I liked the two female leads and surprisingly liked it. Then I come on here and find out the main lead isn't actually the main lead.
I would suggest just watch the show.
