Betts, can you tell me if Can You Hear My Heart has a happy ending? And is there a lot of romance? A lot of reviewers have also described it as a melodrama, would you say this is true? Here on MDL it is billed Drama, Romance.
As for City Hall, yes, I remember you mentioning that. That's why I'm going to stick with it. Besides Cha Seung-woo is good enough motivation for me!
I saw some really romantic looking stills from drama too.
LOL, sorry for all the questions! :)

Hey Betty, I'm putting off watching City Hall for now. I watched ep 1 and it totally bored me to death. I don't like politics themed dramas because I really hate politics. Not only does politics create a lot of problems in the world, it's just downright boring in and of itself. But! That is not to say I won't watch it. I will, just after I finish Can You Hear My Heart. I'm in the mood for another drama with a deaf hero after recently completing Aishiteiru to Ittekure. What have you been up to, chingu? Are you still enjoying your currently watching dramas?

We have Romance, Suspense and Drama in common. In addition I love Crime & Thrillers. I tend to avoid melos and I don't mind comedy when I'm in the mood for it.
Just finished Aishiteiru to Ittekure. Thinking about starting Can You Hear My Heart next because I want to watch another show with a deaf hero. Currently I'm watching a movie called How To Use Guys with Secret Tips.
How are Strawberry on the Shortcake and Ima Ai Ni Yukimasu? I have both on my list to watch but have never chosen to prioritize them. Do you think I should?

Hello Shark. How are you? I don't think we've been properly introduced since we became friends, but I always see you on the feeds. What are some of your favourite genres? Are you watching anything at the moment that's totally rocking your world? :)

Don't worry about it, brethren.
We don't have to agree on everything. You like what you like and that's that. :)
I'll remember your words should I ever decide to watch Warrior Bæk Dong Soo! Thx for the feedback.
As for 'cræ', depending on the context it's meaning will change, but it's the Korean word for 'right?', 'fine' as in 'Fine, I'll take the darn thing!' or 'really?'/'is that so?' etc. Get with the programme, Knight! Don't you have any shame? How many k-dramas have you watched? How can you be living in Ye Jin's heart and don't have any basic Korean skills? lol #smh
Everyone goes through periods when they can not or would rather not watch emotionally draining shows. It happens. Since I entered dramaland I have only been able to watch emotionally heavy movies (NOT dramas) in very small doses. My life stresses me out enough.

Try Youtube. I believe that's where I watched it, though I really can't remember for sure.
Why do we love jerks?
Because they make the most interesting heroes! They're like puzzles we want to figure out or broken parts of an object that we want to put back together.
Nice article. Well done! :)

My dear friend who lives in Ye Jin's heart I like your new and improved profile. I don't agree with your approach completely, but I feel you with the time thing. You're right, of course. All our days are numbered so every moment counts and we should spend our time doing things that bring us joy, not grief. Fair enough, fair enough. I still think there are dramas on your dropped list that do not belong there, but every man/woman to his own order, cræ?
Anyway, you watched Green Rose didn't you? Or did you drop it? Whatever the case how was it?

Hehe I was a little shocked by your email. I was like what in the world is she talking about??? LOL, but no worries! It happens! :)
And you're welcome, thx for the request.
I finished that japanese drama at 4am this morning. I'm completely destroyed. I'm trying to work, but I keep nodding off. This is how drama ruins your life! LOL :)
P.S. Love your new profile. Awesome! I miss warm weather and the beach soooo bad!!!

Thx for the feedback! Scandal doesn't sound like something for me. Maybe later on in my drama watching career I'll be in the mood for a show like this, but not now. Well, I marathoned Aishiteiru to Ittekure the whole day Sunday & the first several eps were great! But then around ep 9 things started going downhill & the show was ruined. The ending was particularly unsatisfying & disappointing. I'm really upset about it. Can't even decide how I should rate. :(

Hey, are you really in the Bahamas? I'm a fellow Caribbean native! Well ... sort of. I'm American, but of Jamaican heritage (by my mom's side of family). I live in Europe. Seems like we have a few things in common. Stressful job, drama addiction, insomnia ... yeah, I feel you. I've heard a lot of good stuff about Black & White. Heard it's pretty funny. I don't know if I'll ever watch it, but Zhou Vic would be a pretty good motivation.
I just completed Que Sera Sera and it was good. Really nice life drama with a great dash of romance. I ended up marathoning it in a day and half. And then I wonder why I never get anything done ... lol
What are your favourite genres?

Aright, thx for your feedback. I like the fact that it is set in a time period that we don't see much of & I hear there's a nice, mature romance. That's always a plus. I'll watch a few eps one day soon and see how it works for me.
I haven't seen any sæguk dramas, aside from fusion ones like Queen In-Hyun's man, but I have Chuno on the list. All for the sake of the lovely Jang Hyuk!

Thx @Lumi. This is definitely a rewatchable drama. And yeah Hæ Lin was a great character study. She had everything anyone could ever want except the one thing she wanted, needed the most. Isn't life a beyotch?

Ok, I'll think about it. :)
Have you by any chance seen The World that They Live In with Hyun Bin and Song Hye Kyo? Or Love Story in Havard? While I otherwise enjoyed those dramas I couldn't stand the female leads because they were illogical, stubborn and defiant just for the sake of being stubborn and defiant, not because they were fighting for something important. I really dislike characters like those.

Oh! You've seen quite a bit then. Maybe it's just not your cup tea. Nina loves it though and she pretty much convinced me to watch it. I must admit before she talked me into it I was skeptical of the plot. But we'll see! I'll watch the first ep one day soon and see if it captures me.
Is Scandal very angsty and melodramatic with lots of bawling, death and all that rigmarole?

That's great and no worries! I see you've seen quite a bit of drama! Wow. The day I net 100 dramas is still a far way off! lol How long have you been watching? You should consider writing a little about yourself too so we all can get to know you! :)
What are you watching now, anything good? I just started a japanese drama Aishiteru to Ittekure.

Hello there, was just on Edinaa's profile and came across your comment about watching Capital Scandal. This is a drama I've wanted to watch, but the mixed reviews make me hesitate starting it all the time. People are telling me that it's quite boring and since I must finish everything I start I'd rather not start something that I'll have to labour through. My question is, how is it for you? Are you finding it boring?
Also you're a sæguk fan. Been wanting to try a good sæguk for a long time, but it's hard to find one with nice romance and happy ending! haha
I have Yi San and few others on my list to watch, but I haven't been in the mood for tragedies for the longest while. Actually Yi San only made the cut because I'm partial to the lovely mr. Lee Seo-jin! :)
