Something you must learn about Japanese dramas ... never put too much stock on their 'romance'. Their idea of romance is not quite in line with most people's.
First you guys should be commended for opening up the contest to MDL users around the world! This is great!

Thanks. I watched it a few weeks ago and enjoyed it. A very solid drama indeed. In fact in terms of overall quality - both technical and creative - it's probably the best produced T-drama I've ever seen.
Nice review, but this particular statement of yours intrigues me:
"The stories also have a realistic pace, unlike some dramas where the main leads fall in love or kiss each other after four or five episodes but you don't understand where their attraction came from, making that romantic side of the story not much believable."
I'm wondering what dramas you're thinking of because in my experience (not a very broad one, mind you) it is usually the complete opposite of what you say. The couple takes at least 3/4 of the show to get together/kiss whilst the last 1/4 is used to keep them apart. But of course they live happily ever after, after someone goes off to the US for a year or two.
Awesome review even though I didn't watch (well, now - nor plan :D) the drama. Very straight forward, raw and…
Thanks, Samy. I tried to be as balanced as I could, but it's really one of those shows you either love or hate and I just hated it. I couldn't hold back!
Brilliant article! The only one I've seen in your list is "I hear your voice" and while I totally agree…
"What pisses me off a lot more are the unnumbered abusive, rich parents in K-drama, always odering their children around, scheming to have them do what they want, shushing them or belittling them and by the end they are invariably pardoned, one way or another. Either because they are filthy rich or because they are parents."
I don't understand why people disliked the drama so much..the main cast was pretty good .everyone in their respective…
If it makes you feel better go ahead and convince yourself that the only reason many people hate this drama is because they can't be objective. That only goes to show that you're just as delusional as these despicable characters.
I've known you for a while now and the fact is you're one of the most biased, irrational viewers I've ever met. I'm flabbergasted by the level of blind devotion you show when you're a fan of something (or someone). You'll defend them to the very end of the internet no matter how much the FACTS disprove your completely unfounded, outrageous arguments.
Good til end. I liked how ending was done, it fitted with storytellying style well and wasnt sugarcoated. Cast…
THANK YOU!!! Thank you for pointing out the discrepancy between Seok Hoon paying lip service to wanting to save his marriage and ACTUALLY trying to save his marriage!
Seok Hoon is an ass, a liar and a cheat. He stopped loving HJ the minute SY came into his life and was always looking for a way out of his marriage. That's why he didn't even bother to contest the divorce.
Hong Joo in her mystery and despair of being discarded by the man she loved and dedicated 10 yrs of her life to lashed out in petty revenge. It was not right of her, but I UNDERSTAND HER. The poor woman was hurting and wanted to give the bastards who treated her with so little regard a taste of their own medicine. In such a situation a little irrational behaviour is to be expected. Ultimately as she got over the pain, she was shown to be the only decent character in the whole goddamn show!
