Awwww…let’s ignore all the gender and sexuality issues and just enjoy the drama as it is. It’s not so often we get good dramas to watch.

I’m loving the ML so far, he’s so protective and tender with her. Will he go against his father to protect the one he love? Will his father regret trying to kill his son’s one true love? There are still a lot of unresolved issues, I’m glad this drama is 20 episodes long.

Our CP, her life story is so sad. As a girl, she is being hunted down. As a boy, she is living her brother’s life. The only person who can truly make her happy is ML. I wonder if they will go through with a royal wedding? How that would affect their relationship and what happens when everyone finds out she lied about her gender?

I’m confused too. I think this family tree wasn’t properly explained well or I must have missed it. What I don’t get is how Hyun likes our CP since they are first cousin. It should be that he’s just her protector and brother but to throw a one sided love storyline from him is so taboo….lol but then it’s historical drama so anything can happen.

I can’t tell if our ML is bi, gay, or straight 😅. But it doesn’t matter, loving the story so far.

Maybe I’m confused but isn’t he her first cousin? Do they not share the same last name?

Awww, Park Eun Bin is slaying her role as CP!!! Even I’m crushing on her, LOL.

Crown Prince, her life has been so sad all this time. Her fated was determined the day she was born, she was given no chance to be alive. Now she’s living in her brother’s shadow, carrying on the burden of being a crown prince and at the same time fearing for her life should they truth come out. I hope detrothing her will give her a breather to live her life but I’m sure we will get some action in the meantime.

Is ANYONE confused why the twins are identical twin but of different gender???? Scientifically, that’s not possible. LOL. Identical twins are the same genders, not opposite. But then this is dramaland. Lol

Our ML, he’s so romantic in a corny and funny way. However, I hope he finds out the truth about her gender soon so we can have more kiss and hugging scenes. LOL

The body guard, it’ll be a twist if he turns out to be the twin brother. But maybe he’s the son of the royal preceptor that was beheaded in episode 1 or was it 2? Because he said the wooded badge he’s has with him is from his late father.

I hope in the end, the eunuch and the lady maid are still alive and go off to live with our CP and her husband.

Seriously, I thought they were the same person too, lol

Keep watching and then make sure to continue to Forever and Ever. Yes, Allen is super handsome in this drama. I think it’s the way they fix his hairdo, the clothings, and of course his handsome face.

Urgh, I know!! Why didn’t he retreat and run away with her. It’s not like he was the crown prince and has a responsibility to rule the country. Why sacrifice himself to that loser crown prince. It would have been more meaningful if he passed in an epic battle.

Yes, this scene I felt was the best and sweetest sweet out of all their scenes in both dramas. I loved it!

Yes, that scene was good too. Sad but it needed to be that way for her because she loved
him so much, it would be weird for her to live on with the crown prince.

I watched this drama first before OAO because I didn’t like tragic love story so I wanted to start with the happier drama before I watch OAO. My first expression was that modern ZSC come off kind of hesitant and distant in his love for SY. After watching OAO, I came back to rewatch FAE, with a clear mind and was able to understand how ZSC love SY. He might be slow but he loves her. SY has all of their memories from their past lives to go off on but he doesn’t. So her love for him stem from their past lives but his for her is just starting again. He did find her and propose, what she wanted at the end of OAO. That is for him to come find her and marry her first.

Love this drama so much except the ending. What was your favorite scene? Mine was after the battle in episode 10, when Shiyi came running and ZSC walked up to embraced her. In most of their scenes, he hardly touch her in front of others but this scene showed all of his emotions, his love for her and fear of losing her. Plus, it helped that he sung that song that was played for this scene too. Lol

I agree, different directors so different feel to the drama. I’m just glad we have a sequel so we have closures. After I watched goodbye my princess, I was so depressed. It’s like what do I do with my feelings, you know? Lol. I was depressed after OAO but I like knowing that they are finally together in FAE even if he didn’t remember his past, at least she did.

Kiss scenes can be overrated sometimes in dramas. I’m one who don’t care so much about kiss scenes and I understand why he as a married man probably doesn’t want to do them. After all, he wants to work on projects that someday his children or grandchildren might want to watch later on. However, I felt FAE was missing something from his character. OAO was very good, lots of emotions and love without kissing. FAE doesn’t need kissing scenes but since it’s a modern drama, I felt it needed some more emotions coming from the male character. Maybe it’s the way the character was written or maybe it’s the directing. For example, when FL was in a coma and woke up, all he did was held her hand. I was expecting him to like hold her and hug her. After all, he almost lost her…..

I agree too. Maybe it’s because modern drama lack the conflicts usually in ancient dramas so they seem kind of bland. I also felt there were more chemistry in OAO even though they weren’t as many skinship scenes like in FAE. But overall it’s a good drama.

Me too, I’m back to rewatching OAO again then I’ll come back to rewatch FAE. Lol

Awww…I’m mixing up my dramas!! I meant to say Allen’s character was much better in OAO and the storyline was more exciting than FAE.

Awwww…..Allen is sooooooo handsome in this drama!!! Can’t wait for more of his upcoming ancient dramas, he looks much better in ancient dramas and I feel his acting is much better too than modern ones.

Anyway, the storyline is great, tragic but still great. The last time I watched a tragic drama was Good bye My Princess and it took me awhile to get over it. This one got to me, I’m so sad over the ending but happy there is FAE.

Can someone explain the meaning of the poem? I watched both dramas but don’t really understand the importance of it to their relationship.
