I just discovered that Season 2 had dropped. IT was on the fast track, with the final four episodes to drop. LOL Something to binge watch!

I was getting bored with the plot and the characters, watching the first four episodes, but Chen Xue Ran's moving OST has inspired me to stick with the drama. The instrumental pieces are profound and emotional. I will have to restart from episode 1.

I think Shan Bao explained that Jiang Lai was under the influence of the hallucinogenic herb upon his arrival at the Duke's house. Unfortunately, his paranoid behavior worked against his character in the viewers' eye. The writer didn't have to diminish his character. I had no idea why he was acting insecure and paranoid suddenly.
