After I watch the last episode of the day, I always check to see when the next episode is coming out, just in case... LOL

Although it is a work of fiction, I think the viewers can recognize similar behavioral traits in real life people they know personally or professionally.

It might be a reality check. The writer is showing a dark side of the livestreaming business. The blood, sweat and tears of being an influencer!

Qiao Lin was the resourceful one when the sisters were younger. I can't fathom how Qiao Lin and Lin Tao were a couple. The Qiao parents must have been desperate for her to marry any man.

The drama plot has perked up. Shen Hao Ming and Xu Yan are no longer two pretty cardboard cut-outs for the camera lens. They are becoming three-dimensional characters, utilizing their physical and mental capabilities. The emotional capability is a work in progress. I really wasn't keen on a Hao Ming/Yan reconciliation but Hao Ming is showing his self worth. He trapped the rat Zhang. and charmed the hoodlum Wang. Mother Wang fell for Hao Ming's dimples. (Insert several heart emojis here.)

I felt that Mother Yu Lan was always a wildcard who has been trapped in the Shen dynasty. She understands Xu Yan's POV, and may become a patroness of the Yan Studio.

I can see Xu Yan becoming a top internet influencer. It would be fun to see her personality change as she peddles the goods. Her followers at the TV network, might switch over to the home shopping network, and her rival, Sun Si Wei's ratings will tank. Mr & Mrs Shen might go into shock while Hoachen will be cheering her on.

I was hoping Sun Si Wei would change, but she's an entitled princess, network Diva.

LOL He deserves the demotion. Let's see the entrepreneurial wonder boy turn the failing business around. The manager might have been embezzling the company funds for years.

Did you watch Mystic Nine? He was awesome as Zhang Qishan/Fo Ye. The Zhangs were a mysterious family with a special skillset. He was ten years younger.

In ep 14, it looks like Xu Yan is pulling Fang Lei and Shen Haoming together. I cannot wait for the next episodes.

One of the best scenes, when she started to manipulate Fang Lei. Xu Yan decided, "You want to be cray cray? So will I! Muahahahaha!"

That was priceless. "Yes, Yan! Spend his money like it is water." She should buy all the auctioned items, and give the $3 million ring to Fang Lei for being a devoted family friend. Shen Haoming and Fang Lei will have a heart attack.

The new dramas are coming fast and furious. I recived a notice about this drama today, from Virtual Voyage.

I watched Seo Young so long ago. I have some recollection of the plot. I watched the entire drama. Now that you mention it, Xu Yan is Version 2 of Seo Young. Zhao Lu Si and Lee Bo Young also have similar physical traits and expressions in the dramas.

Chinese contemporary male drama characters like to wear colors and patterns. 🤣🤣🤣 The drama that had me in shock, was Our Glamorous Times.
