Another phony act!

Hao Ming is still phony, taking landmark scenery shots to fool Xu Yan. He wasn't even adding the transportation and travel time from country to country. Xu Yan should have figured it out earlier.

I am not defending her behavior, but she didn't grow up with her baby sister until it was time for Granny to send Yan off to school. Yan was a stranger living with the family, and kept to herself. The mother and father adored their first born child, and prepared to send her off to university only.

It reminds me of my school friend's family. The mother, who was from China, told her seven children that she would send the eldest child and son to university only. The second child, a female, was actually at genius level in school, but she had to go to secretarial school after high school graduation, and find a job.

Qiao Lin finally looked mature in episode 22, when she was talking pragmatically to Yu Yu Ming. She was Miss Know It All before, always preaching. Being a business partner with her sister has given her confidence in herself.

I didn't notice it before, but Hao Ming has no friends. The closest to a "friend" are his parents, who suddenly warmed up to him in episode 22. That was probably the first honest conversation each parent had with him.

LOL I think Haoming is the one manipulating the viewers.

Didn't they do this with a recent drama; releasing one episode daily in the last "week"? They should adhere to the customary two daily episodes.

I was speechless when Xu Yan said that Haochen is 5'2. I am 5'2, and I never imagined we are the same height. LOL

The drama is very effective in relaying the message. The only likeable male characters are Yu Yu Ming and Haochen. Hao Ming's assistant is nice, but he's turning into the Love Doctor. It is funny that he is giving Hao Ming love advice.

I agree. Lin Tao has bipolar tendencies. When he acts normal, he looks like a friendly, likeable guy, but when the goes into clingy, domineering mode, he is irritating. When he showed up at the gym, my first thought was, "What's this fool doing here?" Didn't he return to his hometown for his job?

He still comes across like the entitled prince husband. When he was drinking with Yu Yu Ming, it looked like was manipulating YYM for sympathy and information about Xu Yan.

William Chan has an aura. Hard to explain! You have to look at his Zhang QiShan (Fo Ye) role in Mystic Nine, and you might understand. I remember when I was watching that drama nine years ago, the female viewers were tripping over themselves. it might be the eyes and the dimples, and the smile.

I am also getting vibes about a non-divorce. Ep 19 and 20 were so out of left field, that nothing else will surprise me.

The funny thing is that the writer and director created the scenes as if the couple, Shen and Xu, are two American tourist caricatures.
