FILLER!!! They went off the rails in episode 19 and 20. The writer could have come up with a better idea to bond with the Russian-Chinese billionaire couple, since a billion yuan international investment is the stake. How does Shen plan to explain the divorce in a month? He is still trying to manipulate Yan into cancelling the divorce. He was throwing 10 million yuan investment at her startup company. He hasn't really learnt his lesson. It's not about the money, Shen. It's about loyalty and integrity, honesty and respect.
Sorry but I give episode 19 and 20 a 2 rating. The cosplaying was so fake. How would it reflect on the one billion yuan business venture with the Russian businessman? If I were the Russian businessman, I would start to seriously question Shen's integrity and professional ethics. The writer and director just wanted to give Xu Yan and Shen Haoming a weekend vacation, to make them dress and act silly. It reminds me of the Shawn Dou and Gulnezer Bextiyar drama, Ten Years Late, when they were to the countryside, and dressed up in ethnic costumes.
And the spy getting sprayed with chemicals and falling out of the tree, hiding in their hotel room, and later confronting the four couples around the dinner table. I had to skip 2/3 of the episodes. The only good scene was the one where Shen told Yan about Haochen's mother.
You should. I hesitated on the first day because it is a contemporary drama. I usually watch costume dramas, but I like William Chan and Zhao Lu Si. Now, I can't wait for the new episodes.

The makeup and outfits looked vampish at times. I don't know what the production team was trying to convey. I realize they were trying to contrast the rich and poor fashion sense, but Xu Yan should have been dressing to impress before the marriage, even if she didn't have money. The drama costume designer could have done better. "Qiao Lin" and "Dress Designer Yao Yao" should have been hired as makeup and wardrobe consultants. LOL
