The officer who is always gossiping with his fellow officer about Mei and/ or Wu Zhen is good looking. I don't know the character's name, and couldn't match his face to the credits. He should have been hired as one of the demons.
They are popping out of the woodwork. When Loach turned Dragon changed into his human form, i thought, "Another good looking actor!". It's hard to keep track of them. LOL
I am caught up with the twenty-one episodes. Wu Zi Shu and Pei Ji Ya are in competition for Delulu of the Month. Both men are obsessive-possessive and unhinged.
Pei Ji Ya in episode 20? is seriously competing for the Delulu of the Month Drama Award. An Biluo, the Fragrance Guru, must have trained him in Dance (episode 20).
Empress and Consort are the nicest female royal members I have seen in a drama. The poor Emperor is a third wheel. I think I have seen both actresses play villains. I hope Emperor stays normal for the duration of the drama.
I bingewatched nine episodes yesterday, and find the drama refreshing to watch, after watching two intense dramas, Wanted Detective and Legend of the Female General. Xu Kai and Tian Xi Wei are charming as Mei Zhu Yu and Wu Zhen. The costume design department did a very good job. Wu Zi Shu looks like he is going to become possessive like Chu Zhao (LOTFG). Mei's "brother" monk is a blabbermouth.
