okay i'm on ep 25 now and my blood is truly boiling cause of these immortal sickos with their audacity thinking it's better to ruin things than let other people have it.

I get that micro vertical dramas serves a very niche market and they tend to bank on cheap and quick emotion grabbing scenes that is often very makjang-ish and/or borderline p*rn. But this one is not. This is kinda like stumbling upon a fun little shoujo manga that is stranded in a library full of hentai lol (i said shoujo not josei because despite the office setting this is overall very demure lol), The actors are very green and it shows, but I like the main actress and i think she did a great job for this role (i also like her in dr romantic so it's very surprising to find her in this category). Anyway, don't miss it guys! This one is a gem!

I just finished this and liked it a lot!! Don't let the vertical format throw you off , I thought it was such…
Agree, this is a surprisingly great find. A cute, very normal, and realistically awkward love story. This feels like watching those special mini dramas that kbs and tvn used to release yearly (i wonder if those are still a thing).

I'm currently on ep 8 and i just have to say ML's decision to erase FL's memory is a bit selfish not to mention dangerous for FL. Considering she has made quite a reputation and a number of enemies during her quest, if she loses memory then what should she do if she met those people? He selfishly made a decision cause he don't want to be burdened with guilt 😕

On Yumi's Cells Season 3 26 days ago
ok i've caught up to ep 6. i like it so far but i just feel like it's too short! sometimes i'm confused with details like, wait, they were riding bus together, but turns out yumi actually owns a car? wait turns out soon rok also owns a car? sometimes they were shown riding to get somewhere but then going back just walking, did they left the car or did i miss something?
i am also confused about soon rok cause so far his cell's village is shown very little and it's mostly empty lol. the 'mechanism' of his interest towards yumi (that little 'sparks') was also a little bit vague, unlike other character's cells dynamic that are usually quite specific.
i think this probably needs additional 2 episodes to flesh out his character. idk, i just think his attraction towards yumi just feels too sudden. still, i'm excited for the final week. hope it will end on a good note.

I've seen a lot of posts here on ML's acting ability & role & this is what I think: The drama is primarily…
this is essentially what i've been saying in other platform. saying that iu is 'overacting' and bws is 'too flat' is like ordering kimchi and then complaining that it's sour. that is just showing that they don't even understand the thing before they began to complain.

Person Chen Wai
Just finished watching a drama (linked below) but i can not find any other information other than the ML actor. Does anyone know whether it has 2nd season, and if it is, has it already aired? Thank you in advance!

Which fluffy roles has Miles done? I've only seen him play villains. 😅
70% of his filmography was filled with fluffy romance, many people said he's almost typecasted into the CEO-male lead type of roles ^^; In fact, there's one currently airing fluffy romance where he's the ML, hence why he didn't show up to this drama promotion cause he's busy promoting that one

Something about the aesthetics of this drama is not quite working for me. But i'm quite invested in the characters and their story, so i guess i'll be seated for the next 30 eps.

Came with zero expectations and i think it really was the key to enjoy it as it is. Entertaining enough when i'm not in the mood for complicated backstory and lore but still quite engaging with the fresh take on the fantasy element. It also helped that Zheng Yecheng can masterfully thread between the different level of entanglement with the FL cause just from his expression alone we can easily distinguish between anger, disgust, and when he slowly realize it has turned into something else.

Ep24 was just so funny 🤣. Is that bengong thing from the novel too, or just drama addition?Hoping for another…
it's not from the novel. chang yu only meet her after almost the end of the story in the novel.

I think real life is like that too, right? While you're living a simple life, someone up there is plotting, this…
Yeah, i totally agree with you. My problem is not about the existence of the political aspect itself in the drama, but the way it's being told. It's not a good story telling if they have to constantly narrates things happening in the background to us. They need to actually show us how these things actually happen.

Yup, i think things will finally get moving in the near future if we're going by the teaser. Hopefully as ML leaves the village and moving closer to the center of the problem we're finally see things actually happening instead of just being told about it happening in the background

After 13 eps here's what i think about the pros and cons of this drama so far,
Pros:
- superb cinematography
- solid character building, great attention to detail, especially for the main characters
- everyone is pretty!
- kisses! Better romantic build up than in the novel
- good chemistry between characters, not just romantically, but also between families and friends
Cons:
- when they're dealing with the political aspect of the story, it's too much talk, less action
- that makes it harder to keep track of things, cause we have to constantly pay attention to what they're saying, instead of actually seeing things happening

Those are just a few things that i can point out in top of my head. Overall it all comes down to the viewers preference, whether they like focusing on the romance, or the political intrigue. For me, the contrast between both just feels a bit jarring at times. It's like, one moment we are indulged by the careful romantic build up, next time we're dragged into complicated backstory that was being rapidly thrown on a quick gossipy session. At the end of the say, as a drama, i still enjoy watching it, but as an adaptation... It remains to be seen i guess.

i have to agree on this. especially as i've read the novel before, kinda worried how they could fit everything…
there definitely is A LOT and it really needs to be emphasized. i understand that this director really loves building romantic rapport between it's characters and creating domestic swoony moments that is very pleasing to watch. on the other hands, this drama is struggling in explaining the political intrigues and dynamics, especially since they make a lot of changes from the novel in this regard. at least that's what i get so far.

i have to agree on this. especially as i've read the novel before, kinda worried how they could fit everything if they're going by this pacing constantly.

Title Pursuit of Jade Spoiler
I love when the FL can fight and defend herself.
it's going to be a bit of a spoiler but this is also consistent with how she act when she eventually finds out that yan zheng is the well known general and marquis wuan. she wasn't just angry that he lied, but she steps back cause she wants to establish herself. she wants to be on an equal standing so she said lemme work through the rank so we could finally be together again proudly on public or something like that.

From my perspective, the subtitles on iQIYI and WeTV are more or less the same. And WeTV’s subtitles aren’t…
truly, viewers comments can sometimes enhance the experience lol i guess being excited together beats giggling alone in our own room on any day

If someone has read the novel, how accurately are they following it? Thank you ❤️❤️
not very accurate (a lot of character being introduced earlier than in the novel and some relationships between side characters has been changed), it seemed that they're trying to simplify the story which make sense since the original was super complicated and would definitely not fit into 40 eps.
