Leads did some promo clips and Tencent put them together lol: https://weibo.com/2591595652/5201757502181219Livestream…
It's like a rite of passage for every TXW's ML on her dramas, to be carried by her in some way lol. I wonder how strong she actually is. She always seems to has some visible muscle on her arms despite looking very thin overall
From what the novel readers are saying, the drama deviated a lot from the novel.Like telling a different story…
Oooh so like creating different story but still the same universe? Does it still have demons and magical elements or are they just regular people in the novel?
Wait so the original novel's title is 'Mrs Mei Daily Life of Pampering Her Husband'? How cute!!! Can anyone confirm if the novel is a good read? If it's good i want to read it while i wait for the drama to finish airing.
The cgi OMG, always surprises me how they always pull me out of the story; and makes me wonder which overworked freelancer had to pull all nighter to finish them. It's not terrible and the laid back salted fish premise is pretty enticing. I hope this stays an easy watch and keep the killing count (at least the good guys ones) low.
watching this for lyn and i am enjoying it but as a watcher of variety shows, does anyone else think the editing…
i feel like there is no narrative sequence to the episodes so we can just pick any episode to watch and would not be missing too much lol. the concept is confusing but at least the casts have good chemistry and funny enough to carry the show.
Watched first 5 episodes and in my opinion, You just have to suspend disbelief to enjoy this drama because He…
totally agree with the lessened emotional impact. i remember while reading, the juxtaposition of her being trapped as a blind and sickly wife in a horrible family surrounded by nasty servants, after living her whole life under his brother's identity and managed to reach the peak as a general... and then being trapped again in a new weak body and having to train again from zero... all of that was condensed into one episode. talk about downplaying the significance of a background story. i just wish they did not do that just to add a draggy third party-induced jealousy arc or any nonsense like that.
so far (for the only 4 eps that i've watched) i think zhou ye kinda deliver the smol but agile and smart aspect of the character. there are two modes of he yan that i've observed so far, the more girlish side during her private moment, and when she's in front of people who supposedly knows who she actually was; and the more assertive side as her sort of public persona. she yaps a bit more compared to he yan that i remember from the novel. but i can still accept this as somewhat her trying to create another persona to distance herself from her previous identity as he rufei. i also just realize that xiao mai character exists to kinda balances her, so that she wasn't the only pretty boy in the whole military camp (and this is also probably the only reason why the production team keep his character in the drama and not the older brother). i wish going forward they could show a more charismatic and gritty side of he yan, especially during the more intense battle scene in the future episodes.
It’s a good thing I read the book awhile ago, I might have been disappointed if I remembered every detail lol.…
Same! I can't remember the details but i didn't think he rufei was this prominent in the story. He was just kinda being useless annoying background character i think(?)
i'm currently on ep 9 and i've been enjoying the humor here and there. however, the misunderstandings that keep piling up... i truly wish there's something more to it, like, someone behind the scene messing with things, and that the leads would soon realize things and band together to fight this actual culprit. but, seeing the comments here... i think it's safe to say there has been no significant progress yet about the misunderstandings. well, there are still about 16 eps to go so, probably would put this one on hold until it's finish airing then.
i'm currently on ep 04 and so far, i understand why people said it's the best season. they're all just overall…
finishing ep 05(? i'm confused why are there 2 eps marked as ep 05) and i'm cackling at how they're bargaining the car rent price with extra hot pot seasoning XD. liang ge is such a gem, i hope this would bring better recognition for him to get more business in the future.
