i'm a bit confused with the format and duration of the episodes though. so based on the released episodes so far, odd numbered episodes just have 1 part, while even numbered episodes have 2 parts? i wonder what is the reason for this
EP5: It amazes me, the contrast between gong jun being one of the younger cast, the loud and silly rascal of the group in wow the world, to being the dependable older brother in this show. I love that he knows when to offer his help and when to step back with wanyi. And so the normally very laid back wanyi can quickly adapt into his new role as the guide. I also want to point out that their guide in Luxor was amazing! I love watching documentaries and would really love if he decides to make one!
i came here to check because i just stumbled upon the teaser and i thought it looks really pretty and aesthetic. but the amount of people complaining in this comment section really surprises me. and this drama hasn't even aired yet π

Ep 4-2 is the funniest so far! The drama segment with PPL π€£ and the quiz session when ma sichun sunddenly went "porridge! porridge!" π€£π€£π€£ them constantly bargaining with the director and even pointing to the space outside a picture when gong jun said "Zoom on that space, isn't that her face?" π€£π€£π€£
EP 4: their reaction over their lodging being flooded was, "water brings wealth," hahahaha very level headed! i love these people, always stay positive in whatever situation they're in. this level of temperament is something that i could only wish i could achieve π also Na Ying dancing with the housekeeping staff was so cute!
Guys, please give this a watch.I think S6 got a lot more initial views because of Neo and coming off of a good…
Very relaxing and free of conflict! I have to say that everyone's still getting to know each other and a bit too afraid of being a bother to the others. But this is so much better compared to being petty and angry over the smallest inconvenience like the last season.
yes I want ot make a bio for her but i dont know how this site works
hi! idk if you already find your answer, but perhaps you can try the FAQ page (link is available at the very bottom of this page) to find some pointers
btw do we have a current kiss count? is anyone keeping track? it's literally the first time i've watched a xianxia couple that is so comfortable with intimacy like this
i was about to give a nod to your previous comment about the character setting but then you really went there with the generational jokes lol. let's not go there and keep it civil shall we π
that aside, i agree that different stories might have different development, depends on the character background/settings, and we can't always insist that every character in every story should hold similar set of standards and values. some character are going to be physically strong, some are not. some has limitations, some are not. even the same character liao tingyan, transmigrated into two different settings can creates two different developments.
when she transmigrated into an environment which benefit her to be passive (sima jiao literally killed anyone who tried anything to get close to him), she grew to be a character that prefers laying low, avoiding any confrontation not to mention bloody altercations. but when her memories was erased, essentially a blank slate, and she was thrown into an environment that encourages her to be more of an active partisan, to not hesitate to kill, then she became the liao tingyan that ends up killing sima jiao. so her character was a logical result of her basic temperament and the environment around her.
but yeah, everyone has different taste, so of course not everyone going to like this sort of development. but i wish we could all keep an open mind and not being so black and white with our judgement. just, enjoy the drama because at the end of the day it's just entertainment.
i just want to drop by to say that i like their little planet emoji, especially gongjun's (the red one with big white grin) and yuning's (the one with beady ring), very on point!
Can someone please explain 'HEAT INDEX' and why it is important?I only encounter it when I watch Love of the Divine…
It's not important. It's just an arbitratry 'metrics' to measure how popular a certain drama is. A high heat index doesn't mean the drama is good or bad, just more people talking and raving about it. As far as i know.
It's weird because I'm the type of person who would be the first one to complain about weak, dumb, and prone-to-accident damsel in distress kind of FL; but here, i don't hate the FL and I kinda relate to her. Seeing her background as a non-ambitious and non-competitive type of person, she's also very non-confrontantional (is that the correct word) and pretty much always chose the least bloody path possible to finish any problem.
Just like what happen with the ML in TPoB, many people questions why and how could these characters choose to forgive instead of just resorting to violent revenge. But i think, that is exactly the point. TPoB is a story about how the ML learns to forgive, build trust, and work together with old foes to solve future problems. Same with this story, it's about a so called 'salted fish' trying to influence her super villain grandmaster to be more compassionate, to curb his desire for killing (everyone including himself), overall to be less villain-y (I don't read the novel but this is just the vibe that i gather from the synopsis and the story development so far).
So I'm not mad that the FL wants the ML not to kill ruling. It's dumb and frustrating but it's consistent with her character. At least in my opinion.
Hi im sorry to ask this. But i have seen that you are currently wathcing moonlit reunion and when the destiny…
keeping this on spoiler cause it's slightly off topic. i would say, moonlight has better artistic quality overall, better CGI, better cinematography, music is good enough, like nothing distracting you from enjoying the story. if you enjoy this aspect, or if you're a fan of any of the lead actors, then watch this. WDBTD, meanwhile, is awful in the artistic department. CGI is trash, camera works is questionable, just, nothing looks pretty for my taste, and the BGM sometimes just makes you go, huh?? the story is nothing groundbreaking but it offers (pun intended) something fun with the infusion of FL's modern thoughts into the fantasy historical universe. it creates funny interactions and interesting dynamics between the leads, and that's what keeps me watching. everything else is bad, but almost in the 'it's so bad it's funny' way so if you're into that then it's not a bad drama to pass your time.
I've only watched the first two ep (waiting for more eps to air so i can binge it) so i don't see yet, why some are complaing about unclear story direction. But i can say that this drama is aesthetically pleasing to me so it fills the gap that was left from watching WDBTD for me lololz. I'm liking the characters so far, so i hope they can maintain the development and dynamics between them.
My thoughts About ep 13:Dual cultivation is not any new term for xianxia watchers, but whether they do it in their…
Yo, i knew about the double cultivation thing but i was confused because this drama specifically mentioned soul cultivation like it's a totally different thing. But when they did it again the second (third?) time, there's just no way they did not imply that they just did physical intercourse with all those innuendos π€£ so all of your explanation makes sense π

Keeping this under spoiler just in case.
