Unless if you proceeded to read the article then you wouldn't know which drama had a death of a major character and which one didn't. But I see your point, thank you! Im really happy to hear that you enjoyed it.

We are all from different backgrounds so it's inevitable that some people are going to see things differently. The comment sections are fun because they show diverse opinions and conversations.

She did want the divorce his parents talked her out of in S1. He deserves the smacks in my opinion and more.
I have been cheated on a few times actually and If someone cheats on me, they lose complete access to me and my life and become non existent. It hurts like hell and it sucks but seeing him would make it worse.

She continues to give him the ability to hurt her when she should've walked away as soon as she learned about the affair. Why she still wants to be around him when he drives her into anger and an unhealthy emotional state I dont know.

I know many people are saying that its because she wants to torture him (If this is the case she is only torturing herself).

Exes who have cheated are trash, do you pick up trash from the garbage bin to torture it? No you would only make yourself filthy.

How can one not love all the moments from Flower of Evil and how Lee Jun Ki portrays Do Hyun Soo? He gets me every…
I have actually been hearing alot about Youth of May and I want to watch it but my heart is not yet read!
Absolutely agree on your thoughts about Flower of Evil, especially when Lee Jun Ki clutches his chest when portraying the suffocation Do Hyun Sow's heart is experiencing.

I definitely recommend Chicago Typewriter! Thank you for reading!

I really like your **analogy actually! Like maybe she is telling herself she won't fall for him since she knows that he is just playing around. I am already worried about her grade in school because it looks like she has been having a hard time focusing.

While i appreciate the hell out of the writing and characters in this drama, it's pretty naive and presumptuous…
I agree with you on this, it honestly depends on a person's personality and character. Some people have the ability to see through someone like the ML and be strong enough to resist attraction to avoid being hurt in the future.
I am curious why she's still going for it though because she seems like she has been able to distance herself from him because she see through him. At this point It feels like she's unable to resist the attraction from him or she just enjoys having a romantic attachment with someone.
We have seen her with 3 guys in 3 episodes

"Men" really? That's an odd generalisation based on a fictional character.
Generalization would be If I said "Men were scary" which I didn't say and therefore did not generalize.
I said men scare ME (which they do). My statement was personal and subjective and therefore not a blanket statement.
There are countless of reason I could have said this and the main one being that I was drawing from my personal experiences that related to the fictional character. However, it seems you were offended by my statement and Im sorry for the offense but men DO scare me unfortunately. I am actually going to therapy for it.

The slaps were physical assault and a crime. All she has to do is divorce him and have leave his cheating ass…
Well this particular drama atleast is a makjang so yes. But most dramas tend to hold the characters accountable for their crimes.

How are you going to leave one toxic situation just go into another one? Bro, the girl has self-esteem issues.
On a side note, men literally scare me.

I agree with you that they always include people slapping in dramas and I dont agree with it, it glamorizes physical assault. I understand that she wasn't put in a good place especially coming face to face with a woman who destroyed her family. However If she is unable to control her actions when she is angry then she needs to go to therapy. Frankly so does he too. You can't hit people every time you lose it in anger and you can't cheat on your wife just because you are unhappy. There are standards and rules in society for a reason, we are not animals.

Cheating is not abuse unless if he was trapping her in the marriage while cheating.

No one deserves to be abused, no one is above the law. Hitting someone is physical assault.

Wow, I’d like to think the Korean police are smarter than you give credit. Not to mention a murder is a murder regardless if you got away with it or not. Taking away life is in humane and makes her a monster.
1. There are dash cams/black box
2. Probably witnesses
3. Everyone survives but the driver? And I’m sure it would escape them that the she had a motive too?

Agreed. Disturbed that people are cheering BHR on for spousal abuse, or think the lawyer is a weak, immature baby…
Ugh I’m sorry but disturbing is right. The fact that he held back makes me look at him with a bit differently because if anyone hit me I would reflexively hit back without even thinking about it.

I can’t respect him because he failed to end the marriage when he realized that he wasn’t happy with his wife. He was cowardly and ended up cheating which is not a good look but physical assault is never an answer.

The audacity of Sa Hun's inflatable mistress to question and judge Hye Rung's upbringing or how her parents raised…
The slaps were physical assault and a crime. All she has to do is divorce him and have leave his cheating ass so she won’t ever see him again. I am sorry but literally promoting for murdering people and innocent child is toxic. She’ll end up in prison all because a man couldn’t keep his penis in his pants?
A permanent solution to a temporary problem.

I was not here for the spousal abuse in this drama. If the genders were reversed it would be an outrage! Im so frustrated watching Hye Ryung refuse to end a marriage even though its psychologically taking an effect on her. They are never going to be happy again at this point so what's the point?
Where I am from a woman should never lay her hands on a man unless she is prepared to fight him back should he choose to retaliate. At this point if she doesn't go to therapy I cant cheer her on to be with anyone else.
