I thought I was fully on board w the idea of Sa Pi Young /Seo Ban but Sa Pi Young with Seo Dong Ma had me jumping…
You are literally me because I was shipping SPY and Seo Ban hard but after the ending scene I jumped ship so fast. lol The writer better not disappoint me and give us plenty of simping scenes
Even with a guaranteed S3, the writer could have closed some loops and made this season a complete arc on its…
I agree with you but this writer never goes with logic. She is infamous for having a perfectly good story line then going off the rails with it. I wished the producers had atleast cut out the 3 weddings at the end cause we didnt need to see all that. They could have surprised us next season.
I hope they'll get their justice in season 3 at least.. if not, I think a lot of us are going to be disappointed…
While watching her stuff its better to focus on your favorite characters and the happiness they get because you'll be disappointed waiting on evil people to suffer.
I am quite used to this writer so the three weddings at the end are very possible storylines which I am honestly okay with. If anything it will make for an interesting Season 3 . [also I might be psychic bc I literally said I hoped Seo lil bro falls for Sa Pi Young and becomes a simp} Im dying at Hae Ryung failing to get a guy twice due to the same woman. It almost makes me want to believe the theory that the mistress has vendetta against her.
Its a Makjang drama so I hope not a lot of people are spending time trying to analyze the writer in any logical capacity. The drama is popular in Korea and will likely get a third season.
I am really only invested in the Professor's family and Sa Pi Young at this point, I want to see what's in store in the next stage of their lives.
At this point I only care about the kids and the professor needs to make amends with his daughter and gain her trust back. I am actually hoping Gabin leaves him for the rich bad boy so that he can focus on his kids. She might be angry at her dad right now but there is nothing in the world more valuable than a parent (although he was an awful husband) he was still a good dad. Sa Pi Young story line is a good reminder not to hold on to anger until its too late.
THE DOCTOR HAS A NERVE!!! Ugh! I CANNOT STAND HIM! Bro like just live happily with your mistress and first love. He want her to stay a single divorced mother for the rest of her life? What a patriachal arrogant jerk. I am so happy he has ZERO advantage over Seo Ban in career, wealth, and status.
The lawyers's story line is boring at this point, I wish they would show us less of him. At this point the ghost even seems more interesting. He got his mistress, he survived a scandal, he is happier than he deserves for a cheating husband but I dont actually wish him ill like most people. Hae Ryung got her revenge and has moved on she's not thinking about him (which is all I wanted for her).
Seo Ban and Sa Pi Young's chemistry is so endearing and loving <3 I just want the two of them to be happy together and in love. I am sorry Hae Ryung, but all she wants is his money and status but Sa Pi Young genuinely seems to want a man with his characteristics/personality not what his family provides.
Its getting so good, I want less of the lawyer's family and more of the professor's family (Still hope the wife doesnt take him back).
I have a feeling the professor and Ga bin will end things and he might get back together with the wife in the end. (I was hoping she wouldn’t).
I have a feeling That the big bro/little bro introduction of HR as future wife seems like a fantasy sequence to me bc he really wants a kid and she doesn’t seem very motherly? But if it’s real then good for them.
In this case it would be funny if it’s lil bro falls for Sa Piyoung genuinely but she doesn’t feel the same way. Give him a taste of his player medicine. Ga bin will have lost 2 men at once.
I agree. I was even crying with Sa Pi Young. Yu Shin is very manipulative like you said you don’t know when…
Yes!!! and I am glad that writers wrote that dialogue because it truly shows you why some men feel justified in infidelity simply based on the fact that they have more testosterone. Give me a break! It also made me realize that he is probably going to cheat again. All I wanted to hear from home was…
“I am trash and I don’t deserve you, I waisted your youth and lied and deceived you. I have no excuses and will live the rest of my life regretting it. You deserve your freedom”.
But it takes a high level of emotional intelligence for someone to have that level of self reflection.
I loved this episode! The way it was so raw, vulnerable, and honest in a very therapeutic way. This is how relationships should always end with each side saying their peace and getting the closure needed. I’m so happy Sa Pi Young stood her ground despite Yu Shin’s grovelings and even at times almost being persuasive. As a viewer even I don’t know when he is being sincere or when he is just putting on a show. She deserves better and I am truly hoping she ends up with the Engineer from work. He would also make a good step father to Jia.
Yu Shin has a nerve to think about Jia now and not when he was having an affair or the fact that he didn’t consider that he was fooling around with someone’s daughter. To be honest with you, the only affection I have towards him is that I hope his step-mom doesn’t take advantage of him because no human deserves that. Otherwise, he and his mistress should live with guilt and shame. I hope he regrets hurting Sa Pi Young for the rest of his life. He’ll never find another wife like her.
The complications of human nature… Some people might found this episode boring but i thought it was actually very ground breaking in the way that it breaks down each individual’s morality and cognitive thinking. I love to see it in media, the power of communication.
This show is finally getting good, I’m happy I never dropped it. Sa Pi Young is a class act and I hope she sees through Yu Sin and dumps his ass. I really really hope she ends up with the Engineer instead. She deserves a man who is going to be devoted to her because lord knows she deserves to be genuinely happy and relaxed and to naturally be herself.
No matter how much I look at it, I don’t like Boo Hye Ryung and she is usually the type of woman I am drawn too. Ambitious, hard working, assertive, and charismatic. However her only one flaw is that she is inconsiderate of other people. How is she plotting to get with a man only after realizing that he is wealthy? She is even inconsiderate of her in laws (even before the affair) and I know that in Korea they can be a lot to deal with but it comes as part of the package when you marry someone and it’s the culture. She would be better off marrying someone without a family or a foreigner. I am 100% sure if she married into the Seo family she would experience double the hassle because they are super wealthy and they will look down on her. Low key hoping she succeeds and marries the little brother because that’s a potential lesson to be learned. Sometimes life is better without a man in it.
All these people jumping from one relationship to another are not necessarily going to be happy.
''The only reason he lived and survived another fortnight was so he could spend time with the object of his affection…
Wow that’s interesting, I think maybe because the drama gave a historical background of Different countries like Korea, Japan, Russia and the U.S it had a lot to offer. Yes Aeshin was the objects of his affection and the reason he survived was because in Japan she told him that she owed him money so to make it alive and pick it up the following month.
Which he she does come to him in the last episode to give it to him before his last fight.
I don’t know if you’ve watched ‘The smile has left your eyes’ but holy moly, the way I cried and sobbed…
I have watched it and I am still not okay, it’s the only drama I refuse to rewatch because of the level of emotions it inflicted on me. I literally cry just thinking about that last scene and reliving it In my head. Such phenomenal actors but I’ll definitely be avoiding the writer’s future work.
Lmaooo that is brutal I am sorry but I would write 100 letters to the writer expressing my disappointment.
Omg I feel like I remember the drama, his close friend or brother betrayed him or something like that right? the couple went through alot issues too... I didn't really watch it but skimmed through alot of episodes.
In my opinion bad boys do carry the narcissism and some level of insecurity which Jae Eon has so it feels like he fits the bill.
Saya and KWB’s heirs character held the same characteristics. Thank you for bringing up Healer lol it’s about the time I start rewatching it lol
