From the reviews Im scared to start this drama because there is something wrong with the ending. Whats wrong with it? open ending? abrupt ending? bad ending? Its fully okay to spoil it for me because i refuse to finish a drama feeling unsatisfied. hence I need to know lol I chose not to watch legend of Yanxi because of this.

My favorite dramas overall are 1. The Legend of Lu zheng 2. The story of Ming Lan 3. Nirvana in Fire (only because I enjoy romance as a central part of my drama so it doesn't rank so high 4. Palace Lock Heart
The romance I have enjoyed are in the legend of Lu Zhen, Schemes of a beauty I liked how both male leads in these dramas while powerful they respected the female leads a great deal. Legend of Fu Yao was I thought was very steamy and I love the chemistry. I especially LOVE POWER COUPLES!!!
I dont like noble idiocy in a drama. I hate misunderstanding that drag for longer than 2 episodes between a couple.
Oh and I HAAAATE lol a second male lead that gets too much spotlight. Examples of this is

I do feel like the ending of the drama left more to be desired. I personally would have loved to watch the evil people suffer a little more. 1st Evil step mom should have lived the rest of her life watching GTY and ML live a happy life while punished to live as a commoner with her son. Killing her was too easy of an end for her.

This drama is just okay to me. The female is not as bad ass as I expected her to be. I actually prefer the lead couple from Legend of Dugu because there was chemistry there.

This is such a level headed comment which surprises me that it began with telling people to calm down. Why is it bothering you how other people are receiving the drama if it doesn't affect you in any way. If you dont like what a person has to say you can simply scroll past their discussion. Everyone is entitled to their opinions and allowed to have their own feelings towards the drama. If someone decides to watch the drama in a more realistic approach then they have the freedom to do so. If you are into the drama and ship Sunny and the Emperor that is perfectly fine but people are allowed to disagree even if it is JUST A DRAMA. If you decided not to put too much thought into the drama that is also perfectly fine as you have the freedom to do so. This is the same for those who decide to do the opposite.

WHAT I CANNOT FOGIVE is that not only were you aware of how my mother died, you had no intention of ever telling me or apologizing to me hoping we would live happily ever after!!!? Ugh! I am disgusted!!!!!!!!!!! To make it worse, the reason you apologize is not because my mother was wronged, not because my father was robbed of the love of his life and my little sister a mother. But because you love me now and that’s why you feel bad?????
