I'M SOOOO HYPED FOR THIS!!
Actually very surprised that it is out at the same time as Only for Love, it really did seem like this probably would not air until next year.

Does anyone know where to find a better or the best translation of the novel?
I've had a look at the comments below for previous websites suggested and am currently reading it there but some parts are confusing and they get the 'he' and 'she' mixed up often.

Person Hong Hwa Yeon
She has a natural beauty. She reminds me of Xiang Han Zhi aka Julia Xiang. Wish her a good acting career.
Oh wow I had to search up who Julia Xiang is but I was so surprised, they literally look like twins. Had to check my search box in case I had searched up her name instead.

Hey, does any novel readers feels, the story pace is too fast? It's like riding the roller coaster. But I'm really…
Yess I feel like it is going very fast as well but I actually kinda like it and so far pretty faithful to the novel

Title Bad Romeo
I was rewatching the first episodes. The ML looked at least 10 years younger ! It’s unbelievable how we can change…
Exactly my thoughts!!
Also my first time seeing Mario and I didn't know he was in his 30's until I saw his MDL profile.

Thank you soo much for the article! It's great to see some low-key dramas listed. I can definitely say that I tend to find and watch new dramas based on ratings (the majority of which also tend to have a high number of viewers). However, reading articles like this really helps me find some new hidden gems that I would not have found otherwise.

Thank you for the article! It was really good. I actually used to struggle getting through some slow-paced slice of life dramas but now all I watch are the SOL dramas. Maybe my tastes have changed haha. Sometimes, I actually look forward to those that don't actually have romance in it, maybe because I tend to watch quite a few with romance and need a break.

I am really happy you enjoyed the article and found some films you might enjoy. Hope the 1st part will be at least…
Exactly, I really enjoy the articles on MDL. Shows and movies that I am usually reluctant to start, I end up jumping straight into if recommended through an article.

Amazing article. Will also make sure to check out Part 1.

I've been holding off Us and Them ever since it came out. I saw the trailer and it looked like the type of movie where I would be bawling my eyes out for most of it. I'm still reluctant to watch it but will give it a go.

I actually just finished the Italian version of Intimate Strangers because of your article. I think I definitely liked the Korean version more (maybe because I watched it first) but the Italian version opened my eyes up to little details I probably missed in the Korean one. The idea behind the movie was great, especially because of how confused I was with the ending and just the overall message. I also really loved the quote at the end for the Korean version which was "People live three lives.. a public life, a private life and a secret life."

Yess, I loved Waikiki and have been eyeing The Fiery Priest for a while, contemplating whether I should watch it or not. I probably will now that you've recommended it :)

Oh I haven't watched that. But it is in my PTW. I'll def. watch it :)
Oh really? That's okay not everyone may like it. I usually don't like medical dramas either but the comedy and friendship in it was gold.

Also Hospital Playlist as well. Anything from the director and writer duo who produced both these dramas are super good and funny.

Like Maggie's character in Nothing but Thirty.
Haha I get you, I didn't see the need to go back tbh. She was doing soo well by herself. I do hope there is a s2 tho. It was quite popular so maybe.

Yup, if you watch the last episode, you'll know.
Remember when she meets Zheng Xian and he basically asks to get back together. Instead she says you still haven't changed and walks away happily back to her friends. I remember this scene very well because it was so powerful for me. I reckon watch it again if you forgot.

Part of me wanted Xixi to not end up with anyone at all. I kinda wish it showed more of her growth as a person…

Omg! This drama has stolen my heart. And to think, I started watching it just because...and now, I'm obsessed...huhThese…
I am absolutely in love with this drama too at the moment, and I'm glad that our thoughts are quite similar.

Duan Xu and Xixi are my favourite couple at the moment, I absolutely love how they bicker all the time haha. I also agree with the part where you mention that some aspects of their relationship is quite realistic. Their completely different yet that match so well together and I love seeing that. Also I lowkey do hope that Liu Ke realises what he really missed out on, his also beginning to show signs as the episodes progress. Initially, while I also didn't quite like Xixi, I think as the story progresses, I ended up liking her quite a lot. I think that while she does seem quite innocent and naïve, that's the most charming thing about her. As the story goes on, you begin to see how optimistic she is and because her character is so different to all the other girls, it makes her stand out even more. Plus I like when she uses her logic and wit to fight back whenever her and Duan Xu are arguing and he isn't able to say anything, it's just hilarious.

With Ru Xue, I think she has become one of my favourite characters in any chinese drama yet. She has the best quotes in this drama and has so much wisdom and you begin to realise this through her blog from the start. I adore her and the chef but I agree when you say that because she is so clever, she will start to realise such problems.

Throughout the whole series, I also never really shipped Hui Qiao and Vincent. I think that while they had the love there when they were younger, it just isn't the same anymore. It also makes it harder being in the same field and even the same company because there is so much competition between them at all times and this makes it hard to really distinguish between their personal and work life. I just hope that she actually ends up with the new guy and that she doesn't end up using him because she seems like a completely different person with him and I adore that.

As for Xiao Yang and Du Jiamu, I'm not particularly interested in their relationship. It seems too much work to think about what these three have going on and where it will end. If anything, I hope nothing ends up happening with any of them.

Anybody knows main female characters' age they played?? I see there are big age gap among actresses in this potential…
While watching this, I based their age off the assumption that it was around the same as their real ages. They haven't mentioned it yet but I think their real age matches well with their age in the drama.

In terms of friendship, even though it is about the 5 girls. I see it more as 2 separate groups, so Xixi, Ru Xue and Hui Qiao (as the three are much closer) and Xiao Yang and Qi Yue (as their best friends). The only big factor is that they live together. However, within their individual stories, they are closer to the girls within their separate groups. Plus Ru Xue and Xiao Yang are sisters.
