That reference was clearly not aimed at Zee and Nunew and the show clearly had no intention to target them. They were just used as an example as one of the most fashionable BL couples. It was clearly a self-mocking, satirical jab at the BL industry.

If the creators stick to the clichés people are whining. If the creators try new territories and unexplored avenues, they keep whining and miss the tropes they were previously whining about too.

Thanks God the creators don't give a shit about this marginal site with predominantly Western users whose opinions are largely irrelevant to them.

It was mentioned but not shown Chot feeling bad first. On one hand people complain that they see allegedly too many details of their work but they cannot handle seeing Chot in hospital without him collapsing first or something, or seeing Put coming to the scene of shooting without showing anyone calling Put there in advance, even if it was clearly implied on the beach that it was gonna happen. This comment section were hilarious if this was not so sad.

BL fans keep complaining that Thai BL nowadays is all about NC scenes with zero plot and just tropes. And whenever we get a slow-burning, character-driven romance that is not just about the main couple instantly getting together, then keep kissing, skinshipping and shagging through 12 episodes, and God forbid it has some additional subjects other than romance, like office life and Asian working culture just like here, the same moanfest starts. "I wanna seeee my baaaabbbbbiiieeeesssss loveeey-doveyyyyyy, where is the rooommmaaaannnccceeee?" Exhausting af.

It beggars belief that some viewers behave as if the writer owed them certain plot devices, like romance dominating over detail of office life and sharp look at the Asian working culture or the usual childish and hysterical tantrums over cheating. What a fucking kindergarten.

Well, now it is confirmed. Nikko has an incurable terminal illness. The question is whether he is only paralyzed by the end of the show and we won't see his death or he literally dies at the end.

To me the acting is fine. They all make their characters a lot more relatable for me than many other, more practiced actors from some of the currently ongoing Thai or Korean shows the MDL audience is usually head over heels for. Yes, none of them are Eleonora Duse, but they are all rookies, and people here are unncecessarily and unfairly judgemental about them. And I cannot help thinking it is just because they are Pinoy, and that is even sadder.

There is nothing wrong with his looks anyway. I think he is a cutie.

That must be awful to be dependent on other people's opinions that much, especially on the comments of this sandbox called MDL.

In spite of the the last 2 episodes being needlessly overlong, this is still an enjoyable amalgam of slow-burning romance and sharp look at Asian office culture.

Btw in spite of my own comment earlier, there is still a chance we are being set up and faked out with a red herring. Nikko in wheelchair in the trailer might be there to mislead us. He mentioned he had missed the prom last year. Him in the wheelchair might have been in the past, and that might be a flashback.

I am so disappointed that those who have been whining about the allegedly not very good acting only make the same comment just once per episode.

It is getting increasingly likely that Nikko is seriously ill and he is probably dying. I hope I am wrong but the hints are just coming. Him being abroad earlier for some reason that was "not normal travel", his mother telling him not to be attached, him wanting to be remembered as a good person. Even the title has a hint about this.

This was clearly aimed at some of the comments here.

This low-budget series has much better acting (especially considering all 3 leads are rookies) and writing than most of the currently ongoing Thai and Korean BL shows, and it is quite hilarious how people who are generally swooning over and swallow every trope when they come from those are now bitching and nitpicking about the tiniest little details on this one.
