There are some hidden Pinoy gems from after 2020 as well, like Love Beneath the Stars.
I have downloaded both seasons with subtitles back then, so I have them on my external drive. That is the asset of being a collector. For the same reason I still have Lakan , 90 days, Unguarded, Hookup, Truly Very Yours - a few interesting early indie Pinoy BL productions which have now gone from YouTube.

Sorry, but this cancel culture I swear is the cancer of our times. That series is a little diamond, a lot of talented people were involved in it, and putting it on index just because of this is the invalidation of their hard work for no reason. That is just unacceptable. Not to mention it was - and as far as I know it still is - just an accusation. ( Btw the writer was accused, not the director). But even if it was true, it has nothing to do with the product. This is a very dangerous way of thinking.

What a lovely little series this is, and like many other Pinoy series it isn't quite as shallow as it may seem.
It does not even seem shallow to me, and the three main characters are all pretty interesting. Honestly, I don't get some of the comments here.

I have yet to watch all these. I know Meet My Angel 1 and 2 are worth watching for the stellar acting, but I have not started it yet, knowing how hard to take they could be due to the heavy subject as well Jodi Garcia's insufferable trademarks, but I will defo give it a go. I tried Stranger's Kiss but I was not strong enoough for that, maybe at some other time. I loved Lihim but I have aonly listed series and not m ovies or short now.

By far not the only one. If you check the comments. most of those who saw it were enthused. Too bad it was behind a paywall, it prevented it from receiving the adulation it deserves.

Other fantastic Pinoy gems from 2021 and then on were Stuck on You and Daddy Love. Also noteworthy were the following imho: PRE*SO, Padayon, Papa What is Love, Love at the End of the World, Love Is, Clik Clak Clok and My Freaky Love Story.

A slow-burning, well-acted and character-driven little divertissement, quiet and heart-warming so far, yet with a possible storm just around the corner.

Jesus Fecking Christ. Are you for real that a gem like Gaya Sa Pelikula is not "PC to watch" just because the director allagedly has harrassed one of the leads? What a madness!

This is so cute and I love it so far. I get a feeling that Nikko may be sick. I just know heartache is coming.
If you watch the trailer, you will get your answer. What I don't know whether it is curable.

I could have lived without the drunkenness as well but to be honest it did not add much nor was it used for substituting any exchange of emotions. Jeng was already aware of Pat being the one who had submitted the evaluation straight away, the drunk act just reinforced this, and he is more than likely aware of Pat's simoultaneous attraction towards him at the same time, it is clear from the way Jeng is looking at his awkwardness with smile.

The word "Nong-chai" does not necessarily mean younger brother, nor do "Phi-chai'" or "Hia" always mean older brother in a blood-related way. It is very often a junior or a senior you may have brotherly feelings and care for.

When I said "leave it alone" I meant that leave it alone as a slow-burning romance and do not wanna change what is special about it and make it faster, because the slow-burning nature is its very essense. I did not mean not to criticise it. I have criticised several aspects of episode 3 myself down there too.

I hate to break it to you but your opinion is not Ten Commandments of Moses that should be left in the cyber space hanging like a prophecy. Write blogs instead of commenting if you cannot stand being contradicted.

Btw as a side note, what if Mon and Jane are a couple? Faling in love with someone else while you are in a relationship or trying to conquer someone who is already committed to someone else happens every day, so it is a fair plot device for a drama, but whenever it happens people get their panties twisted over their heads. They scream it is cliché, but actually it hardly ever happens in BL. I cannot even name any other than Tharn Type season 2. Or probably Dark Blue Kiss and Moonlight and Dark Blue Kiss, but these two are special borderline cases.

This is a slow-burning romance, and thank god it is. There are dozens of fast-moving Thai romances out there where the main cp fall in love in episode 1 out of 12 and they are shagging like no tomorrow from episode 2. This is a rare exception, so just leave it alone.

Nice episode! Just wanted to share my theory on our second couple. Honestly, I don’t even think Mon is Jen’s…
Honestly, I have just been rolling my eyes why people take it at face value that Mon and Jane are a couple. Especially after Jaab telling himself at home after his invitation was rejected by Jane that "Why are you brooding over this, Jaab? It's normal for one to go on a date on weekends."

Also why do people assume that Jaab and Jeng are siblings atomatically? It is very unlikely they that they are.

And also why the rating’s is flopping? From 8.1 to 7.7 🥲🥲
Rating is ridiculous here and it could start decreasing for the dumbest of reasons, like disliking a character's behaviour. This one has age gap and that on its own triggers the shithead schoolgirls.

Episode 1 and 2 were a lot pacier than episode 3. The side couple is nice but their flirting was way too protracted, and there were way too many remarks on Jeng being a terrible boss while he objectively wasn’t, even though he made a few mistakes. Pat has done some irritatingly illogical stuff like scrolling through his boss’ laptop carelessly or texting in the car like an idiot.
I still love this show, but I prefered the previous episodes.
