This second season so far may not meet everyone's taste but the constant dropping of the rating cannot be explained in any other way that the rabid BL fangirls are throwing their toys out of the pram that they have to come across exes in every episode. Once again, what a fucking sandbox this place is.

Since when having exes is a dusty past and how is it Takashi's fault that his exes come across and not Miyata's, including the woman Miyata tried to marry in season 1, for instance?

By the way Takashi keeps reassuring Miyata in every goddamn episode that he is the only one Takashi loves and that none of the things Miyata feels as shortcomings are faults in Takashi's eyes. What else do you all expect from him?

Miyata has to fight down his own insecurities himself, no one could do this on his behalf.

Do some research on Pinku Eiga movies before having such meltdowns.

A gay guy not having any intermediate relationships just because he is still being infatuated with his first love from his teenage years is BL fangirl fantasy and this show is not about that.

They abandoned this very important aspect of the plot in preference of showering us with lovey-dovey scenes between the main leads to satisfy the fangirls. Very bad writing.

Are you Miyata himself lol? Just because you so accurately describe the exact same chain of misclaculations and false assumptions he tends to come to by overthinking. While the reality is that Iwanaga was most likely looking for Miyata in every single ex he had so far.

Episode 2 clearly showed that what Inagawa needs in a partner is warm empathy and attention to what he thinks and says over a highbrown intellectual alabaster. I have my two cents that the upcoming episodes all will be about showing what particular aspects Iwanaga's exes all lack while Miyata has, like we were shown in episode 2.

Furthemore as we learnt Iwanaga broke up with Hibino partly because he wanted to stay close to Miyata. I would not be surprised if it turns out to be that his plan was trying to get back together with him again all this time (it is strongly hinted) and that is why he started to write columns to Miyata's journal.

You have the brain size and media literacy of a rat. It clearly has a dramatic purpose to show repulsive acts the protagonists have to go through.

But even in case of BLs for home media consumption, there are fundamentally different levels of passionate presentation of relationships, depending on which time zones they are being broadcast. In Japanese culture you don't tell someone like him to fuck off and get lost, nor do you ignore, dismiss and disreagard him with cold shoulders. On the top of all these, Inagawa and him parted amicably, he has no reason to be rude with him.

Iwanaga clearly set his boundaries and refused the advances of his ex. Iwanaga himself is a public figure too who won't make unnecessary dramatic scenes just because that is what gives Jennifer Blfangirl from Omaha pleasure. Furthermore, Iwanaga and Miyata are not out as a couple in plublic. Iwanaga won't storm out and make dramas that might upset Miyata.

If you watch Asian dramas at least have a little more cultural awareness than a hedgehog.

Unless it is dark and*or adult-themed, above 18 stuff, those adjectives for Japanese romance (straight or gay) are very untypical. For moderate Japanese entertainments without age limit they certainly are not.
