The usual Japan comedy drama where the lead is so stupid but in the end whatever she did no matter how stupid and wont work on real life will always prevail. The other characters basically acknowledge how useless she is but like always some will find her stupidy endearing. some dont. It basically nothing new in this type of comedy drama and her personality is borderline off putting too. Overall - just average drama. 5.5/10

This is another informational drama from Japan. Learn something about Pro Shogi.
Plot wise ... it just about senior reporter from another section being transfer into other section to cover shogi and was affixed with an underdog shogi player who has passed the age of becoming pro but can do that with special transfer exam. It just your usual rooting for underdog trope. It was an OK watch. 6/10

This has potential but the acting is mediocre and the script is a choice ... 3.5/10

Might be minority but 3 years ago when i watched the 1st ep it reminded me a lot of Shojo plot that I have watched too much in my lifetime and didnt feel like continuing. I finally finish watching this and throughout the drama I was thinking the plot going to be from A to B to C etc and it is exactly what happened. It feels like Shojo being reskin to BL and I dont like shojo. maybe that is why I feel this drama is very mid. I like the cinematography though.

It has been like this since long time ... if u watch their 30min late night drama which BL falls into too. The famous drama are mostly aired during prime time 9-10pm so they are very tame compared to the late night. Of course some of late night are tame too but the slot gives them more creative freedom to show something R15

A drama without conflict is a double age sword. Can be good, can be boring. This .... is just boring. It is like reading a long dialogue from start to end with a very slow pace plot. I hope season 2 pick up the pace a bit. 3/10

Actually the manga is like 100x better and funnier than the drama especially the dad. And Yutaka in the manga is more like a cool mysterious man rather than a plain boring otaku nerd. Slice of life can be boring due to it slow pace but repetitive? I have watched plenty of Slice of Life Jdrama to know that Repetitive and Boring are not the points they want to show.

Everything plain and repetitive will get high score on MDL as long as they cute and fluffy enough despite the BL is having the most basic plot with no significant drama. Any character with bad traits will immediately label as red flag and they immediately drop the drama and gave them bad rating without finishing them. They wont watch SE too and then give bad rating. It is a sad state for BL especially in MDL cause it affect the rating and some people will just blindly trust the rating. TBH, this is the most boring JBL coming out this year so far

Out of all time travel BL, this is the most logical one.
Also just because of the ending like that, doesnt mean it is a bad one.
and it is not creepy at all because it is happening around the world and pretty common too
especially with hetero couple.

People calling this BL toxic when it has more consent than the entire TharnType existence. SMH

Also people trying to be toxic by labeling this drama as toxic yet they can't justify what is toxic about it YET is making me shaking my head more. Why not watch it till the end or at least halfway through before making you conclusion.

These BL watcher on MDL just want a rosy generic plot with no conflict
That is why when BL goes beyond those generic route with more drama and darker theme like betrayal and trap, they straight away label it as bad.
Some of the comments here are just bitter because the character they like turn out to be something else. lol
Some of those below 7 drama are really bad but this is not one of them This actually has decent plot despite some flaws

It started with promising plot for the first 3 eps then it went into the usual generic Thai BL route. 4.5/10

I feel sometimes people who are watching BL especially those who got into it during pandemic tend to over sexual BL. Like they want to ship the actors. they want to see intimate scene. They dont want sad ending. They want this. They want that. Then forget that BL is just like other drama too except the main characters are 2 men falling in love with each other.

When I see 2 young actors kiss, all I thought was "how innocent these 2 characters" since this is not the 1st time I see young actors kissing each other on screen. This has been in a lot of Japanese media too. Like some HS drama actually did cast young actors. And growing up, I have seen this on western drama a lot. But seeing this mixed reaction, I was thinking ... is the world changing now? But teenager nowadays are more advance then my time. Then it clicked with me. All of those portrayal are between boy and girl (i vaguely remember I saw girl with girl) . And most people conceive it as "normal" and innocent and not weird at all

probably because I have watched American version of suits, I found this neither good or bad. Just in the middle. 6/10

im tired of this super weak uke that keeps crying and needs the seme to protect them. Chub is weak and stupid. Ram is not an interesting character. Sky and Phai are more interesting to follow despite their limited airtime. That say something about this drama. It was not horrible. Just very weak drama. 4/10

This has a plot. A good plot but it lacks good drama to make it interesting. For longest time, it is all about the husband P cannot fits inside her. Instead of communicating properly like normal couple, they just keep their problems to themselves and thinking that is true happiness. No maam, no sir. 3.5/10

probably one of the worst drama from the past 5 years. The writing is so weak. Love doesnt change easily unless it is on the brink of dying. That is not the case of FL. There is a difference between a weak but you want to protect FL with weak but stupid FL. The FL lead is the later one. And ML almost villain plot is very half baked. Reina and Dori acting here are very weak too. Everything is very below average. And dont let me started with the annoying zoom in zoom out thing. 2.5/10

about the 3 CPs,

Main CP -
FahSher -> They are all about sex which is what the drama is about. Fah is a playboy that dates multiple persons and Sher is one night stand kinda guy. The plot is there but it so little and basic. Sex scenes are awkward sometimes. They are paassable
side CPs
TapPing -> They are repeating the same thing most of the time with their basic plot and their acting are .... stiff
GearPrince -> not much screentime but they exceed my expectation

the main CP dont have any chemistry and they so awkward together. The story is so boring and Duen Yi keeps on crying for no reason. Thit and Jean have better chemistry and more interesting story. Too bad they just 2nd CP. 2.5/10
