30 years old woman cant get marry is pretty common trope in Jdrama. Either 30 or 40 and poking fun on them. Now the drama itself is pretty generic. Like always, the romance in Jdrama is very dry and this is no exception. The boss, Usami actually the most interesting character and probably the one that save this drama from being very boring. Jdrama tends to give a little plot for side characters and this drama have them too. Unfortunately, the plots are all generic. Overall I enjoy the comedy side of this drama but was a bit meh on the rest. 5.5/10

well Makoto was in Shujin-ko. Not really a BL but his character is gay and has his own partner in the drama.

Cheer Dan is your typical HS competitive Jdrama where someone from Tokyo will propose an idea to make a team to compete in national or international level with a bunch of newbies who don't know basic, fail miserably initially yet able to strive later with passion and friendship become the pillar of the drama. Other than this is another generic drama for this theme, overall I did enjoy this. They did some things right for this not to be too generic. 6.5/10

Mirai-san is basically a short drama about near future where future gen is lazy to work and is enable by her bro but not by her parents. Yeah other than it is short and futuristic to some extend, that is all. I dont really find it funny most of the time. i mostlty more annoyed by Mirai-san. lol. 4/10

Japan drama has 3 common trope that they keep recycle every year
1 - A genius with bad personality where everyone else around that person are useless
2 - The new hire with Seigi No Mikata personality that very generic yet they always get what they want thanks to help from others.
3 - Useless character that has a very high luck with no skill

And Himomen is the no.3. People said this is a satire for overworking salaryman. But at the end of the day, the ML is written in the most useless way yet he has a super luck not in getting money but in surviving his life. Also the FL is just uselessly in love support by her useless nurse friend. This drama sure has comedy and it delivers its comedy. But as a whole, the ML is too useless with no redeeming quality. The fact that he didn't get any real hardship is what make this satire doesn't get to the point where it want to be. Also let not talk about the useless final ep. Overall 3.5/10

This is a slice of life drama. Very educational. I learn about Japan welfare assistant system. And I like the cases. But this drama also follow the usual educational theme drama trope. New hire assigns with average case with tricky situation. And 1st ep always not going well or somehow they able to turn the table at last minute. After that there is no more situation ends badly as they have grown accustomed to their works. And it always that 1 senior which going to help them and occasionally get help from boss. While I really thought this is a great educational drama, but as a whole it can be a little bit boring sometimes because at the end of the day, it is still predictable. Not to mention the lead is written in a very generic way as possible too. so 5.5/10

Poor Ploy. She might not be a saint but nobody tells her Vee was cheating on her with Mark. At least she deserves to know that rather than believing Mark and Vee dated after their "temp break"

When it comes to Japanese period drama especially during Edo era, I often skeptical how good the drama will be cause most of the time, they are quite boring with so many loopholes in the plot. This drama is surprisingly having a good plot. An accounting Samurai. The drama has 3 plots and each of them is engaging. My only complaint about period drama is the lack of blood when they kill the people. Im like .... "are they dead?" The blood often appear toward the end and this drama is no exception. The swordplay is decent. 7/10

This drama should just focus on the nurse internship instead of trying to add mediocre incomplete romance and revenge to it. NGL, i rather interested to know if Chinatsu and Shunya's friend will end up together or not rather than watching the female lead unfruitful love for the doctor and Shunya friendzone Chinatsu. The romance is one of the driest romance i have ever seen. well it is not a romance drama to begin with but if u cant commit to it, no point of adding it. 5/10

For HS drama, the plot is decent. But for BL, it is somewhat fresh to see relationship at early eps. However, the plot is not good enough to make me love this drama. Both lead actors for Takara and Amagi cannot act at all. Their poor acting make me sleepy. The worst part is, both lead characters are upstaged by Katori and Tanaka. Katori has been stealing screen time everytime he pops up on screen. U can definitely see the different level in their acting. Worst part, Tanaka's role only more prominent in the last 3 eps and even him able to upstage the leads. 4/10

Drama is short. just 4eps of 20min each.
Only few characters and does not drag the storyline.
However, because of the short span, the drama didnt let the romance to fully sink into viewer. This is very typical dry japanese romance plot.
Overall this is not bad drama, not great either. A nice watch to fill ur time. 6/10

Tbh, i dont understand how people said Makio deserved better when he was the one that push Eiji to accept Mieko proposal to have the baby?

Was Eiji's dad is the reason for the whole fiasco? absolutely. But is Eiji to blame? he hardly has anything to do with it. Yes. his decision to work with his dad, some people said it is the catalyst for everything. but he was ready to leave his family when his dad couldn't accept them. Makio was the one who said he likes Eiji's dad and dont want to see him sad. Makio is the one that agree with Mieko decision. Makio is the one who initate the sex.

if anything, Eiji is the victim of of selfishness of 2 teenagers. Eiji being a people pleaser and responsible person, it is understandable how his affection during Mieko's pregnancy. Even if it is actually 13 weeks (makio's child), Eiji being the person he is will definitely show same affection to Mieko since it is their child. He really should chase after Maiko though. That was his regret

What I like about the last 3 eps is that, Makio actually got his redemption arc, thanks to Asato. He finally accept it is "our child" not "it is eiji's child, not mine so I wont have anything to do with it", finally accept he was not making the best decision when they were together and regret of running away. I still like his happy ending. I also like the bittersweet ending with Eiji and Mieko because they are happy together after all the fiasco even though they have regrets

Okay. this is just a rehashed of hana yori dango with a little tweak. And this drama is full of generic trope and predictable plot. Like even halfway through, the predictability of what is going to happen in this drama is reaching 100%. Been watching Jdrama since the 90s and I really wish they take more risk in plot and characteristic. Just not using whatever that has been there, done that. Im not liking this drama at all. If this is a remake, then I think this is a decent rehashed. Hana Yori Dango is much more better. But it is not and im actually expecting more than this generic plot. 2.5/10

Short drama. Nothing bad. Nothing good. But definitely not boring. I never watch the movie. But for this little prequel drama, it did a lot better than most movie prequel. 6/10

If u watch enough of genius doctor Trope in medical Jdrama (something likes Doctor-X), then u will realise how generic Tokai and Nekota characters were written. A genius doctor who never failed with bad personality and not getting along with other doctors and a nurse who is an outcast and sync well with genius doctor. Like any other genius doctor drama, other doctors are basically useless. I mean they are doctors who has been working for 10+, 20+ and still fail surgery? This is happening in every genius doctor Jdrama out there.

What makes this drama a little less boring is 3 characters. Takashima, Sera and definitely Saeki. Saeki is a genius head doctor. And for what it is, he is being written as a "Villain" in this drama. But he is a super villain who not even genius doctor can beat which is rare

Sera is the usual stupid resident character and Takashima is also another generic villain turns good in early eps character. Sera and Takashima dynamic duo save a lot from making this drama a usual typical genius doctor drama. because despite being just support characters, they appear almost 50% of the airtime each ep. Sometimes I forgot this drama is about Tokai because he just appears mostly when operation fail. But what very generic about them is that .. they always failed and saved by Tokai. So yeah. We cannot run from the usual troupe. I still overall did enjoy this drama. Saeki is definitely my most favourite character in this drama. 6.5/10

This drama ... the plot is there but the execution is quite bad. Aoi Sola probably one of the worst actress. But then again, 80% of the actors in this drama are very mediocre. Poor acting aside, the plot is full of loopholes and the drama is looking like a cheap Indie Jmovie. They were trying to make an interesting plot but it just fail big time. 4/10.

LMAO. did u guy really understand what is happening? U guys really need to watch ep7 again and connect each word from start to finish. If Eiji was cheating with Mieko, then Makio wont say "Then it is on track" when Mieko lie exposed. If 13 weeks mean Makio's baby and 8 weeks mean Eiji's baby. No need math, just need to understand their dialogues. And Makio was never mad about it anyway.

U guys got it all wrong there. From what I understand, Makio actually realised it was a bad idea to have children. When he was at the cafe with Mieko, he told Mieko if the children is Eiji and not his, he wont have anything to do with it.

When Makio realised Mieko has been lying about the pregnancy weeks, he said "If it is, then we are on track". so no cheating is involved here

Makio was not in pain because Eiji got Mieko's pregnant. He is in pain because Mieko gives Eiji a child while he cannot give Eiji's anything. And during the pregnancy, Eiji is showing more affection and care toward Mieko than Makio which makes Makio jealous.

Lol. No. Eiji does not cheated on Makio. They both have sex with Mieko. On different times. That is why they can determined who the father is based on the weeks she got pregnant
