Maison de Police is your another typical detective/police drama involving 1 rookie getting help from more senior "police/detective". Jdrama have done most of the trope that now they are just recycle them with a little tweak to make the plot more interesting and not too samey. I appreciate the plot and they are funny. However, I found the case too simple except for the last boss. It is a solid drama but plotwise it is not something that has not been done. 6.5/10
This drama is not as bad as what the rating says. It is actually better than some of the 8++ rating Thai BL on MDL. Those who rates this low probably the one that doesnt like slow burn romance.
This is a nice story to watch. I think the historical value is fictional but well produced. While it is good to watch his grandpa and grandma story, I wish we have more or balance story of the grandchildren which I found lacking. 7.5/10
I have love hate relationship with Japanese period drama. I tend to get bore with them easily. This is not bad drama about a "Samurai", his doting wife and their family. In fact it is good but not so engaging that didn't keep me excited. 6.5/10
- The drama starts interesting and but it lost its sparkle halfway with the most boring and basic ending they can give with this drama theme. - For a GMMTV drama, im surprised how they portray gay and lesbian relationship more accurate than their BLs. Im guessing BL is for selling fantasy while non-bl drama is selling fantasy with reality in it. - This is drama is full of American woke agenda. Not something I wanna see in Asian drama. Let that be in Western drama. We Asian have our own problems and I want to see that being addressed. - The biggest problem is Alex and jean have 0 chemistry
Okay. Overall it is a standard above average quality detective drama from Japan. But WTF is the ending? they give the worst ending for memory lost can get. This could be better but it is too depending on Saso babysitting Tokiya despite Tokiya doing just fine without her (workwise, not human relation wise as he forgot everyone within 20 years ago). 7.5/10
The drama is taken the usual Jdrama route of 1 lead character solving problem of 1 of the support characters per ep. The storytelling is full of cliche. Production wise is actually very good and it didn't have as much as repetitiveness of the usual Jdrama with same storytelling pattern. And of course the fortune telling will be the main key plot each ep which they repeat every time. The characters progression are very minimal as expected from this kind of drama pattern. overall 6.5/10
Short drama. The acting ... not bad but not the best either. The storytelling is not engaging. The romance was odd. Jdrama romance tend to be dried but at least u feel something. This I feel nothing. And female lead character is annoying. 4/10
It actually has kinda interesting plot but the story telling is not so engaging. I keep thinking how long the ep gonna last. lol. There is something missing somewhere that didn't make me want to keep watching like other 30min drama. It still not a bad drama overall 6.5/10
This drama is full of cliche with very predictable plot. And it ends the as predicted. Production wise is good. So at best I can give this 6/10
Now reading western people comment how marrying cousin is gross. Like that is only gross in ur culture, but not other cultures. In Asia, marrying your cousin is very common because they are not ur immediate family.
A story about a man going back to his hometown after resigning from his work in tokyo. He met his old acquaintance and was recruited by him to become his manager for his call girl shop. Plot aside, this drama has the usual episodic Jdrama storyline pattern. each ep with revolve around the certain character and the ML will help that person. Despite the generic storytelling, I still enjoy the dark mood and sometimes humour of this drama. 6/10
This drama is very one sided. The chef is doing all the things to change himself so that Jiyu can like him since he falls for him hard. Jiyu didn't really take much effort. And they drink a lot. getting drunk a lot. And can people really change from being alcohol intolerant to alcohol tolerant? seems weird. But their love story is cute. Probably the best thing in this drama. 5.5/10
Finally finish this drama. 1st half was generic but watchable. 2nd half is just boring. The script for this drama is terrible. And the characterization ... they are half baked and the man character punn is behaving like a teenage girl in shojo drama despite being a grown man which is the worst character in the series despite being the main character. Side CP is more memorable but they dont really have story and mostly use as eyecandy for intimate scene. The villains are the better part but they demise too easy. Also so many plot holes. Like if I got something taken from like Title, I will just do the same thing to them. Like he has a certain photo from Japan. He can just use that to destroy Wan and co but he didn't. 2.5/10
I like this more than season 1. Less shojo and I like the self discovery theme. But that last ep is such a let down. Nobody has time for that. Such a lazy writing but we all that is what going to happen anyway. 5/10
It starts promising but then it progressed into the same predictable plot as season 1. Sangenya didn't change one bit. Niwano is still her lapdog and other still incompetent and only useful sometimes. Rusido was interesting for 1st half, shaking Sangenya career but he turns flat in 2nd half. The gay plot could be explored more but then again in het drama, it is what it is. But then again despite the support characters are useless as usual, they are more enjoyable then watching Sangenya herself. 6/10
Never watch the Movie but this side drama is actually quite entertaining. Not the best but the premise of laundering the room before selling it is good. Also the unrest ghost is a nice addition. If not it is just a boring drama. 6.5/10
Can barely finish this and tolerate the female lead. I keep rolling my eyes watching her behaviour. And im tired watching other characters chasing each other. 4/10
