I dunno how this got above 8 here. The execution is kinda sloppy. 4.5/10

This is just simply a bad drama. Everything is ... not good.
- the Mafia plot is not good
- the acting is mid - Yoon has no charisma as Kamol. The guards are actually better actors than the main characters
- the overall story is also ... yeah. I dunno what is happening.
- Don't get me started with the BGM ... and that corny piano ...
- And my friend kept falling asleep while watching this. It was a snoozefest most of the time

Actually this is half true
I thought the same too when I watched 1st ep.
But FL already almost onboard since 2nd Ep and the bickering was settled down much more earlier than most jdrama of this format.
and ML pass wast reveal not even halfway
And while the cases are not that mystery, not every case ends up on their side
So while it is mostly generic, I was surprised they added few things to make it less generic and predictable.

There is actually nothing wrong with this drama except it can be great but falls short because of the generic tropes.
- arrogant ML with mysterious background - checked
- Rookie FL that is too kind which Japanese people wish to protect but annoying as hell - checked
- A main support character with personality 180 degree of ML for check and balance - checked
- an unnecessary love story between ML and FL with the most dries plot - checked
- corrupt police force - checked
- predictable ending - checked
Was it a bad watch? nope. But was it a great drama? not really. 6.5/10

If im being honest, after finishing this drama, I cant recall back the plot because everything is so rush. There is no memorable moment. 5.5/10

Maison de Police is your another typical detective/police drama involving 1 rookie getting help from more senior "police/detective". Jdrama have done most of the trope that now they are just recycle them with a little tweak to make the plot more interesting and not too samey. I appreciate the plot and they are funny. However, I found the case too simple except for the last boss. It is a solid drama but plotwise it is not something that has not been done. 6.5/10

This drama is not as bad as what the rating says. It is actually better than some of the 8++ rating Thai BL on MDL. Those who rates this low probably the one that doesnt like slow burn romance.

This is a nice story to watch. I think the historical value is fictional but well produced. While it is good to watch his grandpa and grandma story, I wish we have more or balance story of the grandchildren which I found lacking. 7.5/10

I have love hate relationship with Japanese period drama. I tend to get bore with them easily. This is not bad drama about a "Samurai", his doting wife and their family. In fact it is good but not so engaging that didn't keep me excited. 6.5/10

This is just my perspective as an Asian.

- The drama starts interesting and but it lost its sparkle halfway with the most boring and basic ending they can give with this drama theme.
- For a GMMTV drama, im surprised how they portray gay and lesbian relationship more accurate than their BLs. Im guessing BL is for selling fantasy while non-bl drama is selling fantasy with reality in it.
- This is drama is full of American woke agenda. Not something I wanna see in Asian drama. Let that be in Western drama. We Asian have our own problems and I want to see that being addressed.
- The biggest problem is Alex and jean have 0 chemistry

Okay. Overall it is a standard above average quality detective drama from Japan. But WTF is the ending? they give the worst ending for memory lost can get. This could be better but it is too depending on Saso babysitting Tokiya despite Tokiya doing just fine without her (workwise, not human relation wise as he forgot everyone within 20 years ago). 7.5/10

The drama is taken the usual Jdrama route of 1 lead character solving problem of 1 of the support characters per ep. The storytelling is full of cliche. Production wise is actually very good and it didn't have as much as repetitiveness of the usual Jdrama with same storytelling pattern. And of course the fortune telling will be the main key plot each ep which they repeat every time. The characters progression are very minimal as expected from this kind of drama pattern. overall 6.5/10

Short drama. The acting ... not bad but not the best either. The storytelling is not engaging. The romance was odd. Jdrama romance tend to be dried but at least u feel something. This I feel nothing. And female lead character is annoying. 4/10

It actually has kinda interesting plot but the story telling is not so engaging. I keep thinking how long the ep gonna last. lol. There is something missing somewhere that didn't make me want to keep watching like other 30min drama. It still not a bad drama overall 6.5/10

This drama is full of cliche with very predictable plot. And it ends the as predicted. Production wise is good. So at best I can give this 6/10

Now reading western people comment how marrying cousin is gross. Like that is only gross in ur culture, but not other cultures. In Asia, marrying your cousin is very common because they are not ur immediate family.
