Other than Imayoshi and Mamoru moment, the rest of the ep8 is super MEH. the script is getting lazier and sloppier with a lot of loophole. Nothing really can save this drama anymore I guess
If you guy never see LGBT character in Jdrama outside BL, u guys seriously need to expand ur horizon. There are…
Looking at your list of completed drama and movie, I would say you better avoid those drama unless u are someone who already accustomed to the variety of Jdrama genres. And yes, watch tonari no kazoku wa aoki mieru. It actually has a gay couple living in residential complex with hetero couples. And the story is actually tackling more of how real world LGBT couple is represented compared to superficial BL world
If you guy never see LGBT character in Jdrama outside BL, u guys seriously need to expand ur horizon. There are…
Im pretty sure Last Friends (lesbian character) and Sunao ni Narenakute (Gay character) are more successful than Super Rich as they both got 2 figure TV rating both drama were from more than 10 years and both pretty angsty. But there are a lot before them and more after them. Im just giving you references that not so old and not so new.
I have so many complaints about this show. I don't even know how to start Such a waste. They've got really REALLY…
I agree with you that she looks like his mother rather than GF. And im not talking about the age gap, but the way they are having conversation together. It is more like how mother and son talk, not how romantic couple talk at all
I'm gonna be so mad if my girl Imayoshi didn't even get to confess...Also, I just realized, but I've never seen…
If you guy never see LGBT character in Jdrama outside BL, u guys seriously need to expand ur horizon. There are a lot of LGBT character in Jdrama especially lesbian being shown since long time ago. And yes, in serious way too
I have so many things to say about Ep7. 1. Why Yu is not exhausting from doing so much works? 2. Yu is basically live in his GF's house rent free, leeching her groceries and getting salary from her. That is what we call a freeloader in real life (and someone gonna argue that he cooks for her and like that is enough) 3. Why Yu is there with Mamoru, Ikari, Sora and that rip-off mangaka to apologise? He is not responsible for any of them in the company. He is not one of the higher up too. 4. And my biggest letdown is … why Mamory has stop taking stance for the crucial moments? before they introduce the dry ass romance between her and Yu, she used to be portrayed as strong career female boss. Now she is just there. If this is old her, she would bow together with Ikari to apologise. 5. And the words that Yuu was saying to Kido? it should be told by Mamoru. Yu, saying those words has no impact at all. Mamoru is the lead here and it is her company. Those words will have more impact and weight if she is the one who is saying it
This drama actually has potential to be a really great drama. Rich woman went bankrupt then she tries to get on her feet back with her subordinates. But what makes this drama lackluster is the inclusion of romance. This drama does not need any romance to be great tbh. Yuu is basically one of the most poor written character. Some people here only like him because of the actor. But the stalkerish behaviour and a storyline to try making him great after coming back from oversea was meh. Also he is too childish. Im guessing that is why Japanese media didn't really talk much about both Mamoru and Yuu. Both lead characters lack charms. And I can understand why the view ratings are so low when there was so much hyped when it was about to air.
I do not understand why it is so successful.it's because it's a bl? It's good it's cute but many jdrama we kind…
Yes. because it is BL. I have watching so many HS Jdrama to know this drama plot is average at best. Also because the 2 mains are from Johnny Entertainments Idols, the biggest male idol agency in Japan
No matter how many episodes, Eiji looks a little bit too mature for final year college student. Same with Shida Mirai. The rest of the interns looks very college student but Shida Mirai looks like an established OL already. Also how people actually find Eiji's character cute? he is very stalker-ish and I found it a bit creepy TBH
This is a nice cute yet very cliche drama. Plot wise it is nothing exciting and very predictable. The lack of people in student council is concerning. IMO, this drama going too slow for too long. 16eps for only that amount of plot is dragging. But this drama enjoyable at least. It doesn't have that weird Korean BL pace that make story very detachable. 6.5/10 for me
Im so upset about the current rating. Some ppl are complaining about the exaggerated acting saying it's bad when…
They rather give high rating for BL with bad acting that has a lot of skinship without proper script and plot. That is how shallow BL fandom is and I see it wont be changing anytime soon. I watched some of the 8++ rating BL on MDL and they were not even worthy of 7. I even read some of the rating. I found it funny when I saw they give overall rating of 9 or 10 just because the BL suits their "personal preference" but their in detail rating averages are just 6 or 7 and vice versa. LOL
This drama is absolutely not for everybody. Some people gonna find it funny. Some people gonna find it boring and I am the Iatter. i usually like Japanese comedy but Sumu Sumu is just plain. every ep feels longer than 30min
im not so shallow to give this drama good rating just because it gave us few hot scenes in the last 3 eps or just because the visual of the actors are amazing. This drama has one of the most poor scriptwriting I ever seen, BL or not and the plot is simple but very draggy. The romance between main CP is poor. I know a lot of people saying 2nd CP felt force but I think 2nd CP romance is more simple and fluid. TBH I like 2 CP much more than main CP if we talk about storyline. Well this drama is underwhelming and I was kinda disappointed. 6/10 for me
No wonder I never see his works in 2018 and this year turn out he got some scandal...I just found out his scandal…
I know this is an old comment but he just make a comeback in 2021 and his drama for Abema was quite a success. It got a lot of praises from the J-net. There are more story to his scandal. The western media didn't really cover this but when i was digging around his scandal few years ago, J-net were able to dig the girl SNS account and posts which in the end make J-net more sympathized with him for what happened cause what she posted on her SNS were contradicting with what was told in the tabloid. Of course he was already on hiatus at the time, his contracts got dropped left and right. Which is making sense why J-net is more than willing to forgive his scandal with him having a success comeback.
It was a good parody. I like it except the ending. Seems rush and doesn't flow well with the rest of the chapters. They should just stick with the manga plot instead of giving the ending that they think BL watcher would prefer.
Since I'm not from Japan and am not 100% familiar with Japanese culture and media, I wanted to know from people…
Im gonna talk about how Jdorama usually done romance theme drama. Honestly, this is actually same with Het drama. In some het drama, u will see the leads didn't kiss while the side couples get a kiss. In some drama, u will see a lot of skinship but it is depending on the theme the drama trying to portray. Also some drama are made for certain actor/actress to act as the lead due to sponsorship and because of that if the actor said he/she didn't want to do certain thing, production will go around and abide with their wishes as long as it didn't hinder the overall story. No kissing in romance Jdorama is actually quite common
Alright, so another exile member is doing a BL projectHere is the link: https://kisskh.at/62411-endless-world-without-a-nameI…
I tried to find the proof that the novel is a BL but I never found one. And the trailer certainly didn't look like a BL. So im really curious where this movie is a BL is coming from.
So the rumor mill is on again about how LDH aka Machida's company forbids boy x boy kiss but guys isn't Maki actor…
I don't think LDH is like that. If they really do prohibit boy x boy kiss, then Hasegawa Makoto from The Rampage won't be able to kiss boy (Onodera Akira) like he did in Shujin-ko

Also ep6 was so boring
