I don't understand why the ratings never got to 20%. This drama is perfect!
i have thought about it too....maybe bc it doesnt use classical romcom kdrama mold and had quick tempo, it doesnt dragg corny moments or weepy moments, it didnt ride on confutsianistic moral statements and wasnt about classic family model. Maybe bc lead female wasnt brainless and simple idiot. Maybe bc this drama had real deep and harsh critic moments for korean today issues and past issues, it wasnt about forgiving and blind worshiping of elders ...even main villain was called "Elder". So it might for koreans felt too new, too forward and unusual way to tell story.
This are just mine random thoughts and im compleatly not sure that im right... but this ratings thing has made me wonder too.
I liked this drama a lot but i have to say that although the ending was pretty epic , there was a lot of loose…
It was clear that brother gets punished with elder and others by law, so there wasnt need to dragg drama and show it, add here that brother loses forever only person about whom he had cared and impact of this was shown. Ahjumma....she already started train next courier but bc she come out for that police inspector she cant continue her secret service but we know she has already nice fund for retirement, so there isnt need to dragg drama with it too. She met her mother, we all saw it big and clear, ther was nice, sweet scene about that meeting. So if you look carefully there isnt actual loose ends for main and supporting story lines. Healer was so detail filled drama that if you missed one scene....you get confused later.

All thous personalities are big spoilers about his past. I love how he acts them out and i like that staff now has more faith in his acting abilities and uses less after edit effects.
First drama where the lead guy and second lead are in the same body. LMFAO
@KMR...Healer doesnt have multypersonality disorder. He just is amuzed and bit anxious bc girl who he loves is fallen for his hidden identity / mysterious night curier whom nobody hasnt seen / and dismisses actual him, who is near her. Healer is bit similar heroes like Spiderman, Superman a.s.o. but without supernatural powers. :D .....and yes, this drama is good.
First drama where the lead guy and second lead are in the same body. LMFAO
"...the different personalities in KMHM creates two different characters just as the different personalities in Healer does so as well.." .....O.O !!!!
First drama where the lead guy and second lead are in the same body. LMFAO
nope you didnt get that difference. I try again : in Healer one guy wears different masks but here 7 persons wear same one mask. Role and personality isnt same thing. Acting doesnt give you multipersonality disorder.
First drama where the lead guy and second lead are in the same body. LMFAO
Healer isnt same. In Healer main hero PLAYS different characters but actually he is only one "I". But in KMHM main hero has in him 7 different personalities, "I"'s. One is just outside and other is inside - very different things.
I should have ended drama when Moon Hee Man got killed and we saw Han Byul.
Til this moment drama had very strong impact and Moon Hee Man's accseptance of his death scene was powerfull message. Even that he got killed is strong message.
Last scene after that ruined all, it was complete fall from high level dark drama to something light and mainstream. It felt wrong, it felt like some boss was reading script and ordered change that to something " what would please audience". I wasnt pleased.
There you can read all about this managa / prequels and sequels / and its author.

Looking how preorders for blu-ray and DVD pile up, i can see that this drama has great future.
