I agree with you both... things doesnt change til money from west is bigger than money from adds. til now they sell mainly into asian and latino-american countries where taste and audience is very similar / cheesy love and melodramatic soapoperas/ to korean audience now / middle aged and older housewives + teens after idols/

Bc one general rule of dramas/movies/aso is that if writer want to one character have intention for something - it is clearly revealed by words or action, so that audience doesnt misunderstand.
If you arent able give me that clip then i belive that this "intention" part is your imagination only.
Everyone has right use imagination to interpret story for itself but nobody has right to discard facts.

....HJ never did something what could fix their relationship - she started from moment one to demolish it. She just run away not looking back.

SH tried to fix their relationship, tried find roots from what they come, gave her time to think what is important to her, tried to talk her, see her.

So...who loved whom ?

There are plenty jobs where married people stay with opposite genre who isnt their relationship partner not for days but weeks and month...and nothing happens. For normal people it is normal situation....and situation doesnt lead or force to cheating..cheating is allways someones choice.

But if talk about cheating in this drama there are characters who really cheat - still never get mentioned or judged in comments here.

MW is like God of Cheating....he has illegitimate son, he jumps from one scandal to other and in the end he sleeps with his exwife soon after he marries with HJ.
MW first wife has affair with her first love, they date in hotels and go to aboard trip.

So if cheat boldly and openly - it is ok but if person has only crush - you must point at him and name him - dirty cheater! This is somethin illogical.

Doesnt this make this drama very intriquing? So i recommend everybody to watch this drama and found out itself about this dramas characteristic.

yes, MW tell a lie by forwarding all dirty rumours mixed with some real facts... but rumours where false and he kew it - so it was lie.

I agree with you about how good this drama is and how diferent from usual korean dramas.

Why some people dislike this drama?
There are many reasons but one what i have noticed most is that in this drama party, who is married woman in the beginning and one of main leads, isnt idealistically glorified and all her faults and flaws are honestly shown in same way like this is done with all other characters in this drama. That seems to be main reason...and it doesnt have any connections with quality of this drama but more with persons who watch this drama and their personal life expierence....what kinda shows how good this drama is - it even manages to reflect to us who we are and who are around us.

one is official rateing of official monitoring company and other is rateing from some fan website...
Production companies and investors only watch official rateings bc by years this have been show its accuracy. They are people who make desisions and spin the money for dramas and from dramas.
You go to other fanwebsite and there is diferent rateing and next one has otherkind rateing...there is like zillion fanwebsites and portals in net.

Seeing or not seeing "hot chemistry" is up to personal taste and preferences... it cant be forced onto.

Yes, she didnt told her father reason why she divorced bc this reason was so selfish that she knew that her father dont approve it and so she let just father do quessing that her husband has done something really bad / what wasnt case here/ and she is victim - her silence already was lie.

No...SY didnt tell her best friend that she HAS MAN but that she has met man whom she likes and that this isnt mutual but onesided feeling by her.
You seemingly has watched version with very bad sub's with google translation.

SH didnt started "sneaking around behind his wife's back" / omo, this wording is like from some yellow magazine / but from one side - he cared about project what he started in Hong Kong, it was his work / i dont know how responsible you feel about your work but i have done something similar / and from other side he needed money for living, he needed business relations to go on to support his family and...from third he felt that he is in dept for SY helping him out with money / dept issue is important thing in korea / and....from fourth side he wanted to show to her, to himself and maybe to all world that he isnt man easy to bend, that he can be trusted.

Btw....seems that in HJ-SH family there wasnt wife interested about what her husband is doing in details - she didnt know about troubles in his company til end, she wasnt able to understand how big was situation, what this situation actually means - she only worries about dads house, only about part what is related to her personally but completely discards employees and her husband going into jail. And he even dont try to explain it to her - this shows that he knew there isnt need bc she isnt able to relate.

Does SH felt tempted about SY? yes, he was....but feeling tempted isnt cheating, he was honest and even told about it his wife but he told her that he loves only her too / and for that time it was true /, why she belived one part but not other?. Selective hearing?
If we are considered cheaters if we feel tempted but dont act on this feeling - then i think all MDL members are in one or other way cheaters and have affairs with hot idols or great actors - we all have felt this temptation but we dont act on it...max we write some hyped commentary or become biased fans.

This riding scene - do you remember why he asked her to go on that ride? Bc he get to know that thous three days where supposed to be her vacation days but she worked with him, side by side like strong businesman without pauses and mercy... it was just act of kindness from him to her.

And this act of kindness was reason why SY fall for him.....btw he falls for her later, when he is already divorced. Falling in love and feeling tempted ARE two different things....and btw both arent something dirty or discusting...but what we deside to do with thous feelings can be.

Your take on all drama is from ground that if woman is married she doesnt have any faults anymore, she is already perfect and when man is married he is the only source of all bad what happens in marriage. But it isnt so.

And i havent never-ever said that SY is spotless saint or SH is embodiment of perfectness or that HJ is bad to the core...or that MW is corrupted to point of no return and is hopeless case....life isnt so B/W and THAT is about WHAT this drama talks about...life is show of endless grey shades and we all make mistakes but what matters is how we take responsibility....even MW gets it in the end.
