Faith is good example - draggy, boring and some bad acting. It has so high rate bc of some actors only. If cast was bit different....i doubt this drama had so high place. NB i dont say it is bad thing, we all sometimes need some nice, slow drama to just enjoy a lot of eyecandy....and this is ok, it is entertainment.
I second to post above what mentioned Sword and Flower but it at least had better plot and acting. It could been kinda good drama if they shortened it and didnt drag story with endless "staring somewhere and/or thinking deep thoughts" moments.
There are slow dramas what are very enjoyable, thous have hidden level/layer where things happen very fast. This kind dramas can have very few action going on but on mental level they are very intense. Sadly this is rare kind of dramas bc it needs splendid scriptwriter and directing, add here stellar acting.
Intro part of this drama is so fairytale like...reminds alot chinese "historical" dramas with wires,animated creatures and alot of added effects.
I hope that when intro/ about past/ ends and child actors are replaced with adult ones, it gets a bit better.
Its a lovely drama.Cheesy and clichee like hell but still not feeling cheap.
Im not fan of cheesy and clichee dramas but i must admit somehow in this drama it doesnt bother me bc actors manage deliver so naturally, that every clichee twist what story takes doesnt annoy me. Actors made me trust them....and im now curious about trot music, i think after drama ends i try learn abit more about this genre.
Perfect summer drama.... I think that rewatching it in winter brings back memories of this summers hot days and smooth nights.
I love this drama but every time I see Shin Sung Rok being nice and cute it keep thinking he has an alternative…
I think his choise of role from opposite side was intentional bc his acting in YWCftS was so powerful that might lead easily into typecasting in future.

More harsh is it for rising artists but even big stars can fall.
Fans should look into mirror and think about this alittlebit....what they actually love....their own love for that artist or art what he creates.
In many dramas this theme has been part of storyline but even fans of thous dramas and actors do same deeds what people in thous drmas....i m sometimes get astonished bc of this...
It is different and isnt too....something feels too familiar. i hope it goes away bc of "that" reason i already disliked one drama. Still this one has bit better male lead actor.
Basic story has til now kinda simple build what is decorated bit more ambiguously than usually.
p.s. ..and by "that" is dont mean mature moments what are planted here and there.Im adult and ok with mature stuff if it is used to serve storytelling but if it is just to lure in not so mature audience then.... this side needs few more eps. to be sure what is what.

I have peeked High School -Love On ....but im not sure yet does i want watch it.
But Im watching now airing Joseon Gunman, what is good and Marriage not Dating what is funny. Now airing High School King is so-so, if it doesnt improve - i dropp it.
Seems that i drop it now, ep. 4 was last for me. This drama is clearly "not mine cup of tea" bc it is shoujo romcom with shoujo anime flavor. Its kinda sad bc i like main female lead and i can see how actress tries fix acting flow of partner but it still not working out... I like Taiwanese version more, it was silly too but had solid character logic in main couples acting.
ep.2 was nice too...somehow it is weird, there is a lot old clishes but the way how thous are presented makes…
i predict that this is 3 couples story, so her ex is going to be still there. In some teaser pic's and in the opening there are hints about it. But i agree that 2 other guys are more in main focus than him. Still mine prediction might be wrong...lets see what surprises creators have for us :D

I watch this drama and i love it....and this is weird bc im not fan of comedy genre....but even i found this drama to be funny and amusing.
