This was kinda stupid....they wanted to have confrontation and some bonding but dear writer, lets hope that you never have opportunity to be patient in your fantasy hospital.....keep writing about romance and hire somebody write for med. part or this drama loses all credibilty and turns into joke.
I dont like med dramas. Why? bc if they are really professionally done, they are kinda boring bc real medicine is boring for outsiders.
But even if this is "med-romance" drama i hate all this kind stupidness done just for effect.

I recommend watch first Friend (2001) and right after that this one...impact is better and you can feel underflows of second movie clearer. They are tied so tightly.
Acting in both is good and directing is brilliant. You can see changes of time and in people and what despite that is sitll same.

Im happy that they didnt ruin series with making some stupid-cheesy ending but going more or less with historical events in big frame. But bc it is fiction in same time they manipulated a bit with time / again/ to give ending for main characters with whom we traveled thru this story, except empress Ki herself.
In the end it is she and her son who go on, all powerful men who protected and loved her are gone.
I dont think that one more episode would made series better, it would then drag and needed many new characters to be introduced that would messed up main story flow.
I learned to love this series, it never failed to surprise me, despite me knowing what happened in history, creators always managed find some new angle or detail and make me think - is it possible and if yes then til what degree?
It was pleasurable ride and i miss this feeling of waiting next ep. every week.
...so this was reason for learning to swim and dive!!!!.... I hope he comes back safely.

What's most amazing to me about this whole drama is that it's actually based in real historical events.
..i never told that this drama is historical truth but that it uses historical events, persons and facts... I told you that all what is written in history books arent always 100 % truth too but matter of its writers knowlege and facts to known til this point of time. Studing history doesnt give you monopoly to truth...just you get know facts what are known til this point of time.... and about Wang Yoo, what is written about him might / and i say might/ be influenced by events what has come after him. I have read that his bad reputation bases on "Goryeosa" what was composed century after fall of Goryeo,in Joseon era...but im just fan of history not expert by Wang Yoo.
