" Depending on Öljei Khutugh's position in the imperial capital her brother Gi Cheol (Bayan Bukha) came to threaten the position of the king of Goryeo which was a client state of the Mongols. King Gongmin exterminated the Gi family in a coup in 1356. Upon this incident in her homeland Öljei Khutugh chose Tash Temür as the new king of Goryeo and dispatched troops to Korea. The Mongol troops were defeated by Goryeo army in crossing the Yalu River."

yes, she becomes somehow corrupted by power. i think creators of drama want show how and why this happens, this is their interpretation of history facts - to create good drama not to create documental series.
It is alternative history what takes off from some actual event and plays with "if" factor, outcome is fantasy.

im not worring :D ...I know that without fireworks and fanfars they have already got foothold in america continent and europe. Bc their genre is rock and poprock and they dont use fancy costymes/meikup/stage effects or other visually agressive elements - their music is more easily accepted than k-boybands or k-girlbands or hip-hop groups. Add here that they / all 4/ are really talanted and charming.
All stars who are loved are hated too...people tastes varie and there are people whi just love to hate what others love a.s.o. It is same old, same old and doesnt make me scared :D
I hope they one day in future become classics.
Still i love other groups, bands and artists too...im omnivore in music but not usual one but one with moods...
Today i was arranging mine CNBLUE playlists and listened a lot of their older songs It made me think about few things
1. From vocals i clearly like Yonghwa voice best. His voice has air, dimension, flow and power His singing is free like soft wind in trees with silver leaves Other have nice and good voices too and they sing well, strong and with emotions but you feel that something is missing til you hear Yonghwas voice in background. am i biased?
2. I clearly dont remember who writed in feed that their company doesnt manage them well, it made me wonder who then manages them bc if you look they have big world tours, lot of interviews, variety shows, CF's, fotoshoots, nice MV's, roles in dramas and movies - their shedules are packed full,add here that they have kinda desent housing, transportation, studio aso. - who manages keep this all up if their company doesnt care?

Only 13 eps left and still so long way to go...This drama has breath takeing tempo compared to other sageuks. Big caast keeps story lively and balanced writing mixes nicely romance, revenge, action, intriques, mysteri, historycal facts a.s.o. So, if you havent started watching - dont hesitate anymore and go for it!

He is trapped and too young. In history he become empereor when he was 13 yr. old. In drama they didnt use young actors for characters younger years, they just changed bit ages but still - emperor is still brat and actor is doing good job to give us that feel.
Mine favorites beside main characters are Colta, Bang, Tal Tal and all villains. I find hard to care about king, actor is really good but character is made too predictable / at least til now/, i would liked him more if they followed bit more closely actual person from history, it would given actor more material to work than he now has.
EK is now mine latest favorite drama, i even started to watch raws and read recaps bc i want see what happens next.

WC...loodan, et jõuad täna, 4 ep. korraga on seda raske vaadata, seal on nii palju detaile, osa olulisi osa mitte ja pead käigupealt suutma eristada vale ning õiget loogikat. Kui eelnevaid osasid tähelepanelikult ei vaadanud siis nii mõnedki kohad jäävad segaseks ja stseenid liiga järskude üleminekutena. Ma ikka rewatchisin nii mõnedki korrad algus episoode kui ma seda sarja vaatasin ja iga kord avastasin midagi mis kahe silma vahele oli jäänud. Peaksin selle sarja mõne ajapärast uuesti läbi vaatama.
