Your review made me wanting rewatch it.....bc when i watched behavior logic of characters felt right and justified. There was some holes in plot but kinda small ones and bearable....or might i remember it not so clearly...bc acting of main cast was so strong and stellar that it might covered up some weak points. This drama was written so that main focus was on characters, their development and relationships not on plot. Plot was just tool here, to serve needed level situations.
I think i really need rewatch it now with bit calmer eye and then i can say does i agree or disagree with your review....:D
With what i can disagree right now is rewatch value.... there was so many brilliant acting moments and already this rises rewatch value to high level bc good acting gives you every time some details what you didnt notice before...at least for me.
It feels bit better than movie but i have serious issues with female lead actor. In mine eyes her acting is miserable....and she missed her characters personality. I know, in Japan they like weird but there is different kind of weirdness - from stupid to interesting....she is "from" for me.

Look better what happens in RL - none of his friends havent abandoned or judged him, same with coworkers and staff and his company. They are people who stand close, who know more. If they find that he is worth to be supported - who are we to judge, we who can only rely on official statements?

This is remake of jdrama from 2002.
I try watch older version and remake in same time.
This way if i get diapointed with one, other can fix my mood.
I too think that this role is too challengin for yamapi, he can pull out melo and please eyes with looks but this story is bit more serious than that. He must be done lot of work with his acting skills to be so brave and take this role. But we see soon.
Average. Name it realistic is unrealistic bc this drama is Korean style / bedroom,family and dick jokes /stand up comedy sketches melted into one episode.
Stand up comedy is now in Korea new shiny thing but they dont do it like we are used to see it.

This villain is one most interesting for long time. Character is created already well and his acting gives it final shine.
All thous tiny details with what he casts this deep dark shadow behind that soft and bright face! It is must see.
So even if PTB (powers that be) manage ruin plot in future - this drama already has reason and value why to watch it.
p.s. I wasnt fan of NGM but i have liked his acting style, way how he makes roles. Until now i thought it was nice but now im amazed.
He has many fresher ones what look more like him.
