There is news that Kimura Takuya won the "Best Male Leading Actor" from Television Drama Academy Awards for his role of Kindaichi Fumio in PRICELE$S (2012)

This is still manga adaption, not best one bc manga is 100 times better but still... so its normal predict that it ends similar to manga.
I dont hope sequels bc story is ower, i hope somebody picks it up again and makes solid adaption, this story is worth of it.
Its kinda weird from me, who dont like remakes but with this title im all for it. With better scriptwriter, directing and actors...this story can become very shiny.

aahh..this all makes me want rewatch TBWD, Iljimae, bad Guy and Princess Man. But from where i get time for all thous 4!!! ...aaaahhh!!

p.s. King of Baking, Kim Tak Goo , what i just finished wasnt bad, it has interesting way of telling about love. In the end you just understand why this is ok.
Same time it has strong presence of korean confutcional values.Cast is good, script is nearly without bumps.
And yes, this drama isnt about food or baking :D

I agree that sometimes ending ruins all, you wish you never have seen that last ep or 15 min. from it. You wish that somebody has warned you, so you could avoid this scarring moment and leave drama before it, still with good memories.
Sometimes twisted or harsh ending is fitting. Tragedies are good for soul, they heal you. But all this must have reason and purpouse.

From listed endings i might excuse ending of Bad Guy, with all going on drama and outside drama, it was best way to make final impact and bold out personality of revenge and result of it.
With Fashion King it would be worked too but there was so many lackings more that this kind ending just didnt work out well.

All this staring contest and other wague endings, i think it comes from korean confucional background, its hard to understand by ousider. But this is mine quess only.

Yes i have seen Monster anime and it is one from mine fav list. I have read manga too. Anime is very close to manga.
It is long...but it is good, i remember i marathoned it with one week, nearly without sleep and got force feeded by family bc they wanted dragg me out at leas for 15 min. it was fun time.
With Golgo 13 i tried manage it better.
Reading is easy for me bc im very fast but with anime and drama...if you dont skimm...you cant watch them faster and if you skimm you miss details.
I try now Wild romance but it is too slapstick driven and silly jokes arent for me. Still i hope maybe it gets better..
Sometimes i want to be able watch silly things too but mine personaliy isnt created for this or i havent found this one what is really well done and entertaining even for person like me...sigh.

I know LIFE manga, i droped it, so i think picking up its adaption isnt reasonable. Nearly all school themed stuff doesnt make impact to me, somehow mine schooldays in past where so diferent that i dont have any relations (like bulling, we didnt had it in our class/school)or nostalgic feelings.Mostly i think - how kindergartenly immature and get bored. Still there is few what managed keep me interested bc they have more mature themes in.

nope, im not japanese and mine jap language skill is minimal. Some time ago there was summary of this interview somewhere but this link doesnt work anymore. But place of interview,their body language and tone of voice, gives some hint about what they talk (music a.s.o.)

About drama OST's. There is few what i like but bc im not fan of k-pop or j-pop its for me hard to find good ones. Same is with anime OST's, still there i have found more what i like than with drama.

I finish today mine current drama and i already have panic...what to watch next...sigh.

How long? mmmm...some half year. Before that i have watched really few ones(3-4) turing year or so. I like stream and i found good streaming websites and started with dramas more seriously.
I would want consentrate more bc i want see all classics and oldies before new ones but...sadly RL (work) doesnt let me. So i try use mine free time for max : i read books and mangas, listen music, watch dramas and movies, go out with firiends or just for walk.

So, about this XJapan and its connections. Til now we have talked : XJapan and korean music, korean drama and japanese manga.

There is few interesting facts more. Yoshiki from XJapan has written songs to Kimura Takuya wife when she was young. She was very popular singer in Japan.

Upcoming film ‘An Actor Is An Actor‘ starring MBLAQ‘s Lee Joon has wrapped up filming.

Lol, no idont xpend more time for music than drama, i try spend mine time with many interesting things if i focus only to one thing , i get bored easily and seeing things with background info is more fun and helps to understand many things better.

I must say that you know person who was drummer in TRAX with stagename Rose. He is No Min Woo, whos latest drama was Full House, Take 2. I know you havent seen it jet and by your list , you havent seen any of his dramas. But im sure you have read about them.
So first connection: XJapan and korean drama.

Second connection...you already read about Devil Beside you being adaption of manga. And mangaka created main male character after one member of XJapan.
There is 2-3 mangas what has more or less connections to this band but mangaka of this title herself has written that protype for this manga was hide from XJapan.
There is one tie more...

To be honest she was reason why i dropped Gokusen and after that i tried avoid dramas with her.
But this guide raised some new interest into her work.

XJapan had and have huge impact into Japanese music world and got to be inspiration soure for many mangas, novels. You can hear their music in animes and dramas, movies.

I just finished Snow Flower. It was kinda weird, not bad but just weird. I got feeling that drama what was planned to be 30-50 episodes was cut short and they desided finish only one storyline. All other main and side stories was silently abandoned. Still part what was done was nice to watch, acting was good and direting too bc despite all flaws outcome was ok.
So now i feel that i can finish some dramas what are still in Watching list and maybe 1-2 from on hold list. Specialy one of Kimura Takuyas new drama what got finally subbed and one of his very old drama...what i have found only with russian subs. Watching with russian subs is littlebit more time consuming but still more than nothing :D
For now i think you have noticed- Kimura Takuya is one of mine favorite actors. He is very talanted entertainer and his looks doesnt hurt eye too :P
