I see you started with Dal Ja's Spring. This was good one, sad that so few like this drama. It is from so called "light" ones one from top.
Actualy i wanted to ask if you can recommend to me something what has passion, tragedy, not more than 20 eps, acting good main male actor and not too cheesy end. I feel that mine apetite for "slow atories" is fullfilled and i want something spicy.
Its so cold today outside, why winter must be so damn long here, snif.

Loving You a Thousand Time is typical family drama.Themes are usual family ones: money, realtionships with elders and siblings, some dirty secrets, good ones who try shoulder all and unresponsible ones who in final get their punishment, here and there tiny bit romance in very modest way.
I fear you find it boring. I usually dont watch this kind drama too but somehow just now it suits mine mood. Acting is ok too and scriptwriter seems to be professional, no plot holes and flops.
Im on 37 ep. now, somehow i already know how all story might end, i hope to see some surprises but there isnt a big chanse for this.
Better dl. Star in My Heart :P and watch it.
On more interesting topic: there is up Wolfboy movie, its still raw but i feel that i soon cant stop mine curiosity and go to take peek. I read that main charater newrly never spokes, so it shouldnt be big deal that there isnt subtitles?
ep.1. acting is kinda...awkward and litlebit not natural. Main guy looks too old for this drama if compare with…
like i posted above...it got better only tiny bit and i dont like this dramas message that abandoning what you started with big promises is, bc personal issues make it hard to accomplish, normal and even good thing to do.

Once i tried count how many titles (oneshots+series) i have read for now and i got something near 4000. I started list of mangas in MU so late and catching up was already late then. So i try everytime when i go search something there also add titles what i have read but i dont belive that i ever get compleate list of mangas done, sigh.
With anime i was smarter and tried keep list in AV blog and it was easy to transfer into MAL later.So, now i have bored you to death with mine personal history
Im still watching Loving You a Thousand Time, it has 55 ep It is clearly drama for more mature audience bc sometimes dialogs and situations are so long, younger ppl just get bored. I too. So i cheat and skim some parts quickly and focus more to romance part. But i see where long series are better - character building and growth is more natural.Minus is that some storilines tend to vanish.

Heh, here our tastes differ, this kind totally selfish, stupid and whiny heroines made me hate shoujo genre, in manga and anime too. mine first expierence with manga was some shallow shoujo with this kind heroine...and i dropped manga for years bc i got wrong picture that all manga is this kind stuff. If there wasnt (and im not shamed to admit) shounen-ai and yaoi genre, about what i happened read some curiosity rising website article, i think i never-ever have returned to manga. And thanks to Zetsuai i discovered that some mangas has anime adaptions and searching for Zetsuai anime lead me to Ai no Kusabi. Eeehh..i have weird history with manga and anime?! Later i started read all what i was able find, with numberst building mine standard for splendid to horrid was takeing shape. I learned that there is good shoujos too, few but they still exist, with heroines whom i can take seriously.

Lol, then i like even more strange series.But from what you mentioned i like Gantz and Darker than Black too, Natsume Yuujinchou is nice one but i like Mushishi more. I have alot of favorites, it is really long list.

I tried watch Playful Kiss but...i didnt like manga whats adaption this drama is. To be honest i hated heroine, worst kind personality for me. I hoped in drama it maybe is littlebit better - but it wasnt. All this doesnt have any ties with acting or script, it is basic consept what totally isnt mine cup of tea.
I hope they fix MDL soon. I kinda miss forum and i have one drama where i want add cast.

I think when you have time again and you ended all saved dramas you should give to Baby-faced Beauty second chanse. Like all kdramas it has slow start. Still it has some fresh moments here and there what nearly balance out all cheese. Not gem but nice drama when you want something light and not deep.
I started with Loving You A Thousand Time, to be hoest it is second try, when i first started with LYaTT i wasnt able to find episodes what worked (streaming).It is typical kdrama, with all clishes and twist what you already have seen in other dramas. Acting is ok and story is written smoothly. But i feel that now i need something like this, without big surprises and need to invest emotions.
How is your watching? Is there any dramas what surprised you?
Today is something out with MDL, i cant read and post in forum, not to mention actors database is gone - so i cant add cast too.

Good section misses Lee Jun Ki, who started out like model, then started act and singing. He is considered idol and not small one.
Matsumoto Jun is in mine book in Meh section bc of his uneven acting perfomances. When he starts give solid 100% , then i might reconsider.
Edit: Japanese side of idols in good list doesnt have Kimura Takuya, who is model, actor, singer, entertainer and all this in high level.To be honest he is better than just "good" - he is splendid.
