Lee Junki is generally a god among men, but oh dear, My Girl. I hated him SO MUCH in that, because all he did…
:D I like him with long hair, it helps make his personality more contrasting. And he is one rare man who really looks good with long hair.
I read somewhere that taking role in MG was like genger talked. After great hit role where he was femine character he feared to get pushed into only this type roles. So he tried to cahnge view and widen range of role types what he can play.
I liked him in MG, he balanced his charater there well - audience still remembers his character of second lead with sad fate.

It was very long time ago when i last watched US serial, Hollywood movies i watch nowdays only when it is 3D and when somebody draggs me to cinema. I get too quickly bored with US series, first its seem fresh and interesting but soon on most times i can predict even what charater gonna say next, still i have few old favorites.
I admit US stuff are done smooth and professionally, with alot of money and creative staff. So watching something from US doesnt help me.
There was time when i liked English serials but there isnt good new ones lately, i sometimes rewatch old comedies when i want laugh.
Some German ones where nice, Frensh serials seem weird to me. And Latin soap operas are terrible.
Someone told me that Russian new serials are good, i even have checked out some streampages ( and found there few asian drama what havent subed in english )maybe someday i feel like watching one.

I already tried this trick with movies.Watched Werewolf Boy ( what was yber splendid, i got big hype from it) and Play ( clumsy but sincere acting, amazing music), it helped tinybit.
Then i rewatched some old favorites best episodes, read some manga, watched two concerts with Kimutaku (got hyped again), peeked onto friends walls, read some reviews...and looked up few on hold dramas. Started with new drama title for me what i picked up from claudias list, seems it isnt bad one but i dont want rise mine hopes jet.
I dont hate all shoujo genre stuff, there is few good ones too but mostly it just ...for me.
To make me even weirder - im not in good terms with all comedy too. I hate cliche stuff and old jokes, fun just bc of fun, overacting- all this really stupid stuff. I have droped many titles bc of this. I like mine comedy to be smart, sharp and well delivered.Good comedy is hard to find.

:D jep, im me!
I put Tree of Heaven on hold bc for me heroine become embodyment of heroines in most shallow shoujo stories.First 3 episodes where normal but starting from ep 4 it got weirder and weirder.Fact that i got annoyied doesnt mean that you shouldnt watch it, tastes differ and mine allergy for shallow shoujo is public secret.
Still, i peeked your PtW list, you have there many dramas what are many-many times better, so i suggest push this drama for later.
Kimi wa Petto or The Princess Man or MARS or Love Suffle or Iljimae or A Love to Kill or Autumn's Concerto - all thous titles are very good dramas and worth your time.
Same time they help to build up your standard for dramas and actors. But this is what I think...
Actualy right now im in some drama slump.Maybe bc lately dramas what i have piced up wasnt up to mine hopes.

Erm...how i say it... I like good drama. Drama with skilled and talanted actors, well written script, thoughfully and clearly done directing, creative and supporting camerawork. Drama what is somehow groundbreaking or unique.
I dont like pure idol dramas with value of fotoshoot and idols with poor acting skills, shallow slapstick comedy clishes, heroines without brain and personality, sugarcoated endings, loopholes in story a.s.o.
...i have weird taste and im picky.
I must admit that i have some problem with chinese language, its sound sometimes makes me tired and i have sometimes hard time to read out emotions from tone of talk...it disdracts.
Yes i watch asian movies and anime too // http://myanimelist.net/profile/_Raincat_ // I have read tons of manga, manhua, manhwa and webtoons with various genres. And i like listen some asian rockbands. Im not fan of popmusick and idol bands.

Its hard to say about Tree of Heaven bc mostly i have there heroine problem ( its THIS kind what i dont like but you like ) and bc it isnt tragedy but melodrama, add some bumps in storytelling. So i suggest - take peek before you dump it.Cast itself is kinda ok.
So now im in drama slump. I hope to find something soon or i start get withdrawal symptoms :D :D
p.s. have you seen spring 2013 new anime lineup?

I havent seen The Devil or its jap. version Maou. Im not into crimi or similar mysteri dramas bc i usually kinda early quess who is villian and then...this drama is boring for me. So i watch this kind dramas very rarely or when they have strong mix with some other genre what i like. I must admit that i have peeked Maou and didnt like it so i didnt pick it up.
For me it is hard to watch two good dramas in parallel but it can be done with average ones.So mostly i try marathon one and then next drama.
Lately i have got some drama slump, maybe bc i watched many drama with similar storyline in row. i try fix it with movies.
When you start watching OMSFftS, i would be happy to hear what you think...about cast, story and camerawork. :D
I peeked most of thous dramas but sadly none of them rised mine curiosity to level of picking them up.And bc im not big fan of popmusic, im not fan of Arashi too.
This guide helped me get some preview about this actor and im thankful for it bc without it i never get know about him.
Genre Tragedy is not true, this drama is pure Melodrama. Only sad ending doesnt make drama to be tragedy, it needs more depth than this drama has.
Most of time main female charater is just pitiful and really stupid.
She isnt able to see situations - only herself. All this drags drama down to melodrama level.

I see you are watching One Million Stars Falling from the Sky now. How you like it?
I remember when i watched it i got sometimes goosebumps bc main male charater can be so scary sometimes. It is really twisted story but it captures you - i still like it, despite ending.

Somehow i got distracted from I really Really like You and its hard to return.
Itried watch Innocent Man but i got somehow bored bc there was so bad script.Iknow it is melodrama and melodramas tend to be ridiculous by building up tension. Still i couldnt stand it this time and put IM on hold after ep.4
So i watched some movies and this was good desision. Then i thought some new title might me put back on watching road, so i started with Tree of Heaven bc i like tragedies. First 3 ep was somehow tolerable but ep 4 started go wrong, ep 5 wasnt better. Heroine who was weak personality but still kind and has reason somehow lost nearly all of her brain and degraded to be being with room ine her head for only one thought in time. If there is two issues in one time - she collapses of something like ragdoll with fountains instead of eyes and is doing nothing. Where is tragedy?

what you think?
Just finished watching A Werewolf Boy. This movie is worth every praise what have given. Yes, it is still raw, without subs but i think words arent important part of this movie, all was understandable just by tone and facial impressions. Amazing acting, splendid directing, well written script.
If you have chanse - i highly recommend to watch this one. I hope it gets officially subed too (no dubbing, i hate dubs) and some day i manage buy it.

Im at ep 12 with I Really Really Like You...somehow i feel that you injoy this drama very mutch. Im very picky with comedy ( you already know this) but even i found this drama to be funny...and it manages nicely mess all things up, so you everytime think - it cant become more embarassing/messedup...but it can.
Really differently told story what is old basic one.
It still only 1/3 of drama, i hope they manage keep it up.

I started with I Really Really Like You. It has same actor (Lee Min Ki) for male lead than Dal Ja's Spring but with different personality. If i remember right you liked jerks, in IRRlY he is king of jerks and he plays this role well. Second male lead is actor from Loving You Thousand Time.Im on ep6 now and i must admit that this drama has kinda diferent story from usual romcoms. I think you would like female lead too bc she is nearly how you like heroines, still she manages not to be annoying, her stupidity and naivism is reasonable and acceptable bc she isnt selfish. So i think this drama would be one what maybe dont bore you

Still it is mine impression after 6 eps and drama has 34 eps. I really hope that they didnt ruin it later. How is DJsS ? Do you like it? And what you think about actors and story?
"It is the fifth feature film by director Yoo Ha, who wanted to make a change from his previous works by doing a historical film, saying, "I always felt uncomfortable with the genre but I felt I should try to overcome those feelings. It is also a new challenge for me to focus on a melodrama." He also stated that the film was "a love story between men."
So...not about love triangle or list of disorders or...
It is a love story between men. All other aspects are secondary and only for developing main focus.
