ep.1. acting is kinda...awkward and litlebit not natural. Main guy looks too old for this drama if compare with some other boy in gang..it may be make up what he wears isnt well done or...
Text and dialogs are not so catching and sometimes clumsily delivered. Jokes are "same old same old", camerawork tries to be creative but is hit and miss.
I heard so many hyped recommendations, so i hoped something professional. Maybe it improves.----
ok. it improves but only a little, acting gets more natural. One good point is - jokes and comedy part is well done. For me plot was til end so predictable and in some parts kinda clishe, try to explore three themes in one go made all them not so well executed. Somehow this drama shows why there is so few good rockbands in korea. Soundtrack: 1-2 songs what i liked, other ones wherent mine cup of tea.
Great set. Ihave seen two movies and one in anime form. Really "girl night ones"
Mine favorite is Secret bc it has some nice twists.

Oh! Pil Seung And Bong Soon Young wasnt good, it was just nice and ending is mess. So til now Star in My Heart is best of his works.
Btw. there are one thing with mr Goodbye, they dropped one big storyline and it left some unfinshed issues. I can somehow understand, theme was very uncomfortable for korean audience. Other topic what didnt get opened properly was his past. It seems that there was plans but they didnt get budget and number of episodes for this. This is biggest issue for mr.Goodbye - stories what wasnt told.
Saranghae is good drama watch with you bf/gf or family, it helps open conversation topics what are usually kinda hard to begin and with this is easier to get know and let know personal oppinions and make others think/rethink.
Despite what dramas, i still like his acting.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
Saranghae was good. I kinda start make parallels with Ahn Jae Wook and Kimura Takuya, their acting styles are different but have same wight of quality. Saranghae is about 3 couples and their journey to understanding of love, trust and marriage. Sometimes told from male perspective, sometimes from female. This drama doesnt end with wedding but shows life before and after. And it is funny too. Soundtrack:i dont remember what it was but there are songs - this is all what stuck in mine memory.
Now i started with "Oh! Phil Seung And Bong Soon Young". Just now i have seen some 20 min of it - so i dont have oppinion jet. I try not to have high hopes.
Last drama, what is easy to find in net with him in cat is so long one. I have some fears, til now 30+ eps where mine max. It is hard to marathon loooong dramas. And there is few movies too, maybe i continiue with thous.
I agree with you on "I Do I Do" and "To The Beautiful You" but I don't agree on "Rooftop…
:D most ppl think QIHM has fantasy subgenre but it has sci-fi subgenre. Diference is - there isnt any magic like fantasy genre uses. Then what was power what allowed time jump? All thous who doesnt know answer must rewatch drama for it :P :P
IN Faith they used magic and had fantasy subgenre but they wanted use sci.fi too. Thous two genres are very hard to mix and get ok outcome.
This drama is really about love and life.
Good acting, good storytelling, slice of life mixed with some romcom. First drama where i didnt get annoyed by manga references or jokes, ok, sometimes it was tiny bit too corny but i managed survive. Soundtrack...normal i think. I recommend it, give it a try.
p.s. I think it is watchable for guys too bc a lot of story is told from male perspective.

Maybe im weird but for me was QiHM ending with mobile very cleverly done. It explains how this all time traveling actually worked. And it nicely answered this last remaining question. All this balancing past with future, every action had chain reaction...it was one thing what other dramas missed out.All logic of story was belivable. For me QiHM is from sci-fi angle best one and acting was good too.
RP has many logic mistakes, droped issues and sidelines, loopholes a.s.o. And this comedy part...wasnt so great too. Ending was ...just easy way out from corner where they went and last try to give drama some deeper layer.
But this is mine oppinion.

I have already started with Faith long time ago but kinda freeed it bc i couldnt stand acting style of main female charater,it was disaster, not to mention her age shows up, still she tries act "young" and this is annoying.Add here holes in script and kinda weak directing.Still i liked may other actors in this drama and how they build their roles. I hope one day i can watch this drama til end.
I finished movie Rurouni Kenshin and it was good, i like manga and anime too and feared that they ruin Kenshin in movie but i must admit i liked his charater in movie. Best role making from Sato Takeru what i have seen. I hope they make sequel/prequel with him soon.
Now i watch Saranghae, it is kinda funny/serious drama and explores themes what arent so common in romcom-land or at least not shown from this kind angle.
I see you started with mr Goodbye. Be warned - at start it feels so usual story
i have now one fav. charater common with this list.About others i just dont know bc i havent seen thous dramas jet. Other mine fav. charaters...to be honest mine fav. list changes by every drama what i watch. sometimes charaters from earlier dramas go up sometimes down, depends how i liked characters in new drama. And i dont have only one favlist, there is so many aspects in charaters why to like them and it is hard to sum them up in one list.
Still it was nice to read whom author of article liked and compare with whom i like :D
I love people who can say what they like and why.
Well writen!!!! All weaknesses nicely pointed out. I like when people can say what they think and why :D

I fixed littlebit Mr Goodbye cast and added some pictures, another mine habbit if i like drama or actor.Btw. kid actor in Mr.Goodbye is amazing, he has done many roles in popular dramas, last one was in Five Fingers but he til now didnt have profile in MDL, sad fate of many kid actors in dramaland. Still they work so hard and act so well.
Who is your favorite kid actor? In what drama?
