For me he made only one desent role, Momo in Kimi wo Petto but this one had wonderful director who was very capable. In other roles he kinda slides lightly thru, without makeing any effort to act seriously. I think he needs more stricter director to really use his acting skills and not only poseing cute or cool.
But this is mine oppinion. Im not fan but i dont hate him but i know he is capable for more if he is made to do so.

Tragedy = purification
Comedy = healing
Purifing something is easier than healing it.Or other way to say it: tragedy demolishes old to make room for new beginning, comedy takes broken, repairs and makes it better to continue.
And to make good comedy you must handle two main genres in one, to make tragedy you handle only one main genre.
Ah, mine eng. is too poor!! But i hope you get from mine retelling what our lecturer told us.
From all this comes mine picky taste for comedies and jokes.If they dont meet good comedy standart, it is hard for me to like them.
What are you watching now? Is it good?

nice answer <3

Good comedy is like medicine - bitter core covered with thik sweet coating. All jokes and situations must dessive audience from seeing that there in deep down are tears. Without hidden sadness comedy is worthless and cheap. Hardest thing is to hide this sadness and loneliness. So many creators try cheat and do comedy without it but it might entertain audience once without leaving big impact.
Stellar comedy actors make often splendid roles in tragedies - bc they know about tears, sadness and loneliness. This helps them convey all thous deep emotions more naturally.
Good tragedy ( not to mix up with melodrama) is like fire or water what in the end of story purifies you from all bad and dirt - catharsis. And you learn something about yourself, you become at least tiny bit better person. If there isnt anything like this - it is drama or melodrama.

For thous who are seen all three...i suggest "Rock, Rock, Rock".
It isnt movie but bc it has only 4 episodes, i think it fits nicely into weekend frame. When i watched it felt more like movie than drama.

Random: Today i remebered one thing from mine drama class.
One our lecturer once said - "To make good comedy is harder than to make good tragedy. Why? This is your homework for next time."
Im kinda curious what would be your answer to this question "why?". :P

Im glad that they make drama...Im sad that it is remake again.
No new, fresh ideas? Has all scriptwriters quited job? There isnt original scripts anymore?This flow of remakes gives me goosebumps.

I hope they manage make it watchable...at least, so lets wait and see.

um..he wasn't even sexy in The Musical...but I think he is a very good young actor.
I dont deny his talant, without all this shiny sexyness and charm it must be for him even harder than for others and he still manages give good perfomance. Still he isnt stellar actor bc thous can be ugly like hell but they have skill act himself look charming and handsome and you belive them...

I have find this kind dramas among older ones very oftenly but rarely among new ones.Btw. with old dramas there is one thing what i cant understand. Many people doesnt watch them bc in old dramas there is outdated fashion from this timeframe when they where done. How can this make good drama with splendid story and acting into notwatchable one??? Is what actors wear more important than story and acting? Its one thing what i cant understand. You can critisie bad hairdo or bad choise of wardrobe if it ruins one or other aspect in drama, like messes up actors facial impressions or doesnt match with charaters personality. But it doesnt make drama unwatchable or if then it must be boldly so out of charaters that it makes questionable drama directors intentions and skills.What you think?
I started now Lovers in Praque. It is amazing how many tableware main male charater can break :P.

I finished Autumn Tale. It is littlebit melodramatic but acting is very good and natural.I totally understand why this drama is in classics list.I like older dramas, acting style in them is more likable for me. Other thing is bc they where first ones to explore this or that storyline in drama they lacked competition, so production crew didnt make unnessesary efort to impress audience with some unbelivable twist or directing actors do overplay. New dramas all has this ghost behind backs - seems that all storyframes are used and reused and reused again, so it is hard to find something new. Very few directors dont fear rely onto actors creativity, so they meddle with acting more and more and dramas get more and more unnatural, mutilated and weird. This is cause why there is less dramas with big impact, dramas what you want rewatch and what you never forget.I have find this kind dramas amon
