What a rollercoaster of emotions!

what a rollercoaster of emotions! I love journey of their love story and how the families got together. To be honest I do not understand why there is so many negative comments.

The production,OTS and ascting is great. Soo Hyun is awesome as always.

It is a great drama. I like the storyline and even the episodes are really long I did not get bored. But I have to say towards the end the plot became a little bit enoying as I think they should concentrate more on their relationship than the ongoing revenge and the villain went totaly crazy, I think that was a little bit too much. And they sorted everything in last 5 minutes so we did not enjoy the happiness of our couple.
Overall it is a great drama.

disappointed

Well, the drama is very slow pace and it gets quite boring. It has high rating so I was expecting much more from it but I was disappointed. It only has 10 episodes but it felt like never ending story.
The only thing I liked is the acting and OST. Its shame as the story was good if they just executed in better way.

love Wei wei and Chi Chwng relationship...but producing could have been better.

When I watched the first episode, I wasn't sold. The dabbing is terrible, but after a while, you will get used to it. Also, the production and editing are not great. The way they change scenes... sometimes I was lost, like, "What just happened?" But despite that, I was totally in love with them. I was so excited for the new episode.

I love how Wei Wei is slowly falling in love with Chi Cheng and their bridging. The storyline is great. And I am not surprised, as it's based on the novel of the autor Chai Ji Dan as the drama, Stay with Me, which is absolutely 100/10. To be honest, the Revenged love cannot compare to it in every aspect, maybe because they were on a tight budget and I think if the drama was produced in China, it would be much better quality, but I get that it could not have been because of the censorship.

The last episode felt very rushed, although I loved their moments together.

Realistic drama of hardships through the life - not a fairytale

Beautiful story of O Ae Sun and Gwan Sik, who love each other dearly and do everything for their family. The cinematography and acting are amazing.

The storytelling is awesome, and I love how they managed to switch between the past and present storylines. It is perfect. It is so hard to watch as their life was/is so hard, and all the hardships they endure. Even with sixteen long episodes, it is easy to watch, and you do not get bored. I was hooked from the beginning and could not stop watching it. To be honest, I did not like IU's character at the beginning at all; she was screaming and hysterically crying all the time. I am glad I stuck with it as it is a great drama, but be prepared as it is not a typical fairytale but a realistic portrayal family's hardships.

I think I need to watch something light and happy now.

waste of time... I was expecting much more

I am really disappointed. I was so looking forward to this drama as Woo Shik is one of my favorite actors. It's so boring. I forced myself to finish it as I had no other option because I watched it on the flight.

Also, the story is very realistic, but it seems absurd that he did not even text her about what was happening, and the lack of communication is frustrating. I hoped it would get better after a few more episodes, but no. Ten episodes never felt so long.
The brothers' story was very sad to watch, but that is it. I did not care about the main couple, and the chemistry was missing. To be honest, it was a wasted 10 hours.

Fast paced drama full of action and intrigues.

It's a fast-paced historical drama based on real events. It all happens in 24 hours, so there is a lot of action, plotting, and tactics. It's interesting to see how the events are going to turn out as life beside palace walls is a matter of life or death. I like that the queen is a great tactician and thinks a few steps ahead.
I did not mind the sexual scenes as they fit well in the drama. They could make more episodes to fully develop the characters. The acting was great, except for Jong Seon, as she does not fit in the drama. I can't help but feel her expression is just ruining the experience for me. Chang Woo and Soo Hyuk did a great job portraying the king and the crazy prince.

Apart from that, I really enjoyed the drama. It was a great watch, but I don't like that it ended at the best part. And I am not sure if we are getting a season 2.

it is a dark drama but you will love it!

I bridged the drama over two days as I could not stop watching it. The cinematography and acting are amazing. To be honest, Jae Wook was born to play i daesang; it suits him perfectly. I love the storyline and how slowly we are getting to the truth. Not a single episode was boring. The chemistry between the leads is awesome! I love the bond Jae I and Hong Rang had. Their eyes speak for themselves. The fighting scenes were great as well. It was a real surprise to see the real villain, as he had my blood boiling every time he appeared. I will not say more to avoid spoilers.

The OST is great, so fitting to the drama. It is not a typical drama; it is dark, and with each episode, there is more suffering, but it is a beautiful story of two people who try to protect each other. The last episode was very emotional.

Perfect emotional drama...be prepared as you will cry a lot!!!

I love it so much! It's a beautiful story with a great cast and plot that makes you binge-watch the drama in one go. The first half made me laugh, and the second half made me cry (I have never cried so much). I love their teenage love story, which was beautifully written, and you slowly get to know what happened. The length of the drama is just perfect. Until the end, I didn't know what the ending would be. I was hoping for a miracle ending, but the actual ending was even sadder, knowing that... I will not spoil the end.

Finally, a proper emotional drama that I have seen in a while. It's a shame that it is not more popular, and the rating should be much higher.

This drama will stay in my memory for a very long time.

Don't Let the Ratings Fool You—This is a Hidden Gem!

Wow, this show took me completely by storm. I almost skipped it because of its low rating, but the supportive comments convinced me to give it a shot. What a fantastic decision. This is a genuinely underrated hidden gem, and I absolutely loved every minute of it.

I binged the entire series in just a few days because I simply couldn't stop watching. The cinematography is incredible, and the 1970s atmosphere is so immersive you feel like you're there. The acting is top-notch across the board, making a seemingly simple plot—get the treasure—into something truly captivating.

What I enjoyed most was how the show took the time to introduce each character's backstory, showing their motivations and how they eventually learned to work as a team. It's a powerful look at human greed and what people are willing to do for money. The series also does a great job of balancing the serious drama with well-placed comedic scenes.

My favorite character was Hui Dong, a pure soul who seemed to be the only truly good person in the entire show. The final episode is a beautiful mess in the best possible way. I never would have imagined that taking some pottery out of the sea could lead to so many twists, turns, and betrayals. Watching each character try to outsmart the others with their own individual strategies was incredible. This show is a must-watch for anyone looking for a unique and memorable story.

It is a Surprising and Heartwarming Gem

Wow! I did not expect to love this drama so much. It completely took me by surprise, and I ended up binging it in just two days.

Honestly, the first few episodes didn't grab me, mainly because of Ga Ram's goofy character. But as the story unfolded, I fell completely in love with him as I started to understand the depth behind his behavior. Kye Sang's acting was amazing, and I hope to see him in many more dramas. I have became his fan since The Kidnapping day.

Even though I don't typically watch rugby, I couldn't wait to see the team's next match. The drama beautifully conveys the message that if you set your mind to a goal, nothing is impossible.

The true highlight of this show is the rugby team itself. Watching them form a bond as strong as a family and build unshakable trust was a joy. They will make you laugh and cry with them. It was a great journey watching Coach Ga Ram help them achieve their dreams.

It's rare for me to wish a drama was longer, but I'm already missing the team and their story. The final episodes were incredibly emotional, and you will definitely find yourself crying along with them. While the plot itself might seem predictable, the heart and humor of Hanyang High make it a fantastic watch. This drama reminds me of Hot Stove League, which is one of my all-time favorites.

nice drama that will make you cry and laugh

It is a nice watch. I really liked the ghost stories as they were very emotional. It is nice to see how Mi Jin changed working on the cases. Also, the team dynamics is great. I love the trio.

To be honest, Mi Jun and Hui Ju would be better much than his wife. They had great chemistry together. For me, wife's character did not bring everything to the drama, quite the opposite, as the scenes in the last episode just left awkward. I like Gyeon U as he lightened the mood every time you see him.

It is a light drama that will make you cry and laugh, but you will not get stressed out as the good guys always win.

beautiful drama about amazing friendship

Beautiful, heartwarming drama. The drama kept my attention from the beginning to the end, and I couldn't stop watching it.
I love the storyline, and Song Kang & In Hwan did a great job. I was tearful the whole drama. It's a beautiful story of Deok Chul and Chae Rok, whose lives changed by their encounters, and you will love their relationship. The most beautiful thing was Deok Chul's life advice. Also, it's nice to see how people around them changed for the better. It has a beautiful message that it is never too late to fulfill your dream.
The ending was just awesome.

one word....Overrated!

I was so looking forward to this drama as I was so excited after reading such positive comments and the rating was high. After the first few episodes, I was like, okaaay… I kept watching but caught myself not really focusing on the drama, and instead, I ended up here to check the comments again.
I found the drama so boring. The story is interesting but badly executed. I liked how realistic it was as a story of normal people. Also, the production is nothing special. The constant flashbacks were so annoying as well. As it has 16 long episodes, I dropped the drama at episode 6.
It's a shame, as I really liked Gang Du's character, who was cold and savvy but had a good heart. For me the drama is overrated.

the drama is overrated

I was so excited for this drama, especially since its rating was so high, but I was disappointed. The production felt off, and the acting was okayish. The story was interesting but not executed very well. I pushed myself to continue each episode, as I was losing focus and getting bored. I dropped it at the sixth episode. In my opinion, the drama is overrated.

Disappointed...it's so badly written

The story is interesting but badly executed. My favorite thing in this drama is Ji Hun's friends; they are hilarious, and I love Ji Hun's character; he always makes me smile. He is so cute. On the other hand, Do Ba U is getting on my nerves, especially toward episode 7. To be honest, the writing is bad. The ending of episode 7 had my blood boiling, as did episode 8, because after all the fuss he made, he suddenly changed his mind. Waste of time.
