It did not wow me!

The storyline was very interesting, and it was engaging to see how the events would unfold and whether justice could be served. The beginning of the drama was good, but it became slow and a bit draggy in the middle.

Honestly, the judge was incredibly annoying. He practically begged the gangster to spare his life multiple times, promising to do anything, yet he repeatedly stabbed the gangster in the back without considering the consequences, all to save his reputation. I despised his character. Moreover, the entire situation arose because of his son, who disregarded the consequences of his actions and their impact on others.

The ending was very fitting, as a punishment that causes immense suffering is preferable to justice.

Great drama—that is the way to beat corruption

The drama has a great storyline, and I like how they introduce new cases every two episodes, and it all leads to the closure of the main plot. It is nice to see how the team comes together and works to beat the corruption. I love the way Ha Kyun portrays his character; it is perfect.

I love the interaction between Sin Cha and Dae Ugn, and I wish we could see more of it.
It was fun to watch, and I was hooked from the first episode.

The acting was great, especially Ha Kyun, as he carried the show.

The drama reminds me a little bit of Hot Stove League, which I absolutely love.

Let's hope for another season.

Seriously Underrated

I'm really glad I watched Made in Korea – it's such an underrated drama. The 70s cinematography looks amazing, the production quality is great, and the cast is full of talented actors who all do a fantastic job.

This is a slow-paced drama, but in a good way. It really makes you question your own morals – you're never sure if you should be rooting for the good guy or the bad guy, because nothing is black and white. Both sides use whatever methods they can to get what they want. The drama does a great job with the characters. I was on Bae's team from the very beginning, while I found Jang annoying and not very likable.

I liked how each episode focused on one character's backstory. Watching Bae and the prosecutor try to outsmart each other felt like watching Catch Me If You Can. I'm already looking forward to season two.

That said, I don't think the backstories of Bae or Jang made me feel more sentimental toward them. Their personalities were already clear from the start, so learning their past didn't change my opinion. Maybe if the drama had been longer and given us a proper backstory instead of just a glimpse, it would have hit differently.

My only real complaint is that I wish there were more episodes. They could have explored the protagonists' pasts more deeply.

Verdict: A beautifully made, slow-burn drama that totally deserves more attention.

A promising drama that lost its way

What a pleasant surprise this drama turned out to be. I was hooked from the very first episode, largely thanks to the wonderful dynamic between the in-laws. The storyline is compelling, and I loved how each episode peeled back another layer of the family's secrets.

The first half of the series was excellent, but unfortunately, the momentum stalled in the final four episodes. I found myself getting bored and even skipping through certain scenes—which is a shame, because this had the potential to be a truly great drama.

One standout aspect worth mentioning is the relationship between the wife and her mother-in-law. I believe this is the first drama I've watched where they form an alliance rather than a rivalry, and I absolutely loved their friendship. If the series had been trimmed to fewer episodes, it might have maintained its grip and kept the story more engaging throughout.

Overall, this is a strong drama that ultimately loses its spark toward the end.

Great cast but something was missing

To be honest, I had a hard time getting through the first few episodes. I just couldn't get into it at first, but after a while, it did get better.

The acting was great. Rowoon is a fantastic actor—I loved his last drama The Murky Stream, where he absolutely slayed the role. Yi Hyun was also good; I enjoyed her in Head Over Heels. The storyline was interesting, and I liked the concept of matchmaking. But despite all that, something still felt missing.

The drama felt so long. I kept checking how much time was left in each episode, and I wasn't really excited to watch the next one. I'm in the middle of it, but I don't know if I can carry on—it feels like it's taking forever. In the end, I just skipped to the last episode.

Heartbreaking and hanting story

The storyline is amazing—dark, emotional, and deeply compelling. And the acting? Absolutely phenomenal. Tseng Ching Hua did an incredible job. His eyes alone were filled with so much emotion; you could feel every ounce of pain, rage, and heartbreak without him saying a word.

The story is genuinely sad. Watching Jen Yao face one terrible thing after another was just heartbreaking. He never stood a chance. I loved how Hsiao Tung always believed in him and supported him, even when the world kept knocking them both down. Their connection was the only light in an otherwise crushing story.

What makes this drama even more unsettling is how real it feels. This kind of thing happens everywhere. The system rarely helps the victims, especially when money and power are involved. After seeing how everything unfolded—how they were failed again and again—I completely understood why Jen Yao did what he did. The law was never on their side. Revenge became the only option left.

I was hoping for some kind of happiness, but it was obvious we wouldn't get it. Not really. Part one was about the love that bloomed between the leads—fragile and beautiful—only to be destroyed by the terrible events that will lead to all the killing we'll see in Part two.

Now I wait. And I'll be rooting for him.

it could be a great drama until it lost me towards the end

What an emotional rollercoaster. From the very first episode, I was completely drawn in. The first four or five episodes hit me so hard—I was crying like a baby. I especially loved the childhood and high school era. Back then, Eun Jung and Sang Yeon's relationship felt so pure. I also loved her time with her boyfriend—it was such a joy to watch because they were perfect together.

But as the story unfolded, I couldn't ignore how terrible of a friend Sang Yeon really was. Because of her, Eun Jung lost everything she ever loved. Eun Jung herself is such a kind soul—poor, gentle, always giving everyone the benefit of the doubt. That's what made it so frustrating to watch her constantly let Sang Yeon back into her life, while someone like Sang Hak never got a second chance. Honestly, if that last encounter with Sang Yeon hadn't happened right before she was supposed to meet him, I think Eun Jung would have said yes.

Their relationship was undeniably toxic. Sang Yeon consistently took advantage of Eun Jung's kindness and manipulated her emotionally. I could go on and on about it.

Performance-wise, this drama shines. Go Eun, as always, was absolutely incredible. The acting across the board elevated the material.

Unfortunately, the story lost its way toward the end. What started as deeply emotional became more frustrating than enjoyable. I was especially upset with Eun Jung's decision in the final episode. Sang Yeon finally got her karma—or did she? In some ways, I feel like she still ended up getting what she wanted. Again. The last episode dragged so much that I ended up skipping scenes.

It's such a shame. This drama had the potential to be a perfect 10/10. If only the final episodes hadn't missed the mark.

great story but poor execution

I was initially very excited for this drama because the first four episodes were "on fire." I loved the way the mystery unfolded, with each episode dropping a new twist about who the lead character really is. It was highly engaging at first, but unfortunately, the momentum didn't last.

After that strong start, the story felt flat and boring. While the premise itself is great, the execution wasn't very well-handled, which is a real shame. I also struggled to connect with the characters; despite the high stakes, I didn't find myself truly caring about what happened to them as the episodes went on.

The acting was easily the best part of the drama. Shin Hae-sun delivered a brilliant performance as always—she really is the "Diction Fairy" and manages to make even a weak script watchable. Her ability to play multiple identities was fascinating to see.

Final Verdict: At only 8 short episodes, it’s an easy binge-watch, but it’s not exactly a "must-watch." If you skip it, you won't miss much. It had the potential to be a masterpiece, but it ended up being just an average watch that was carried entirely by Hae-sun's talent.

Most Boring Drama I’ve Seen Recently

I was really looking forward to this drama, but it ended up being a massive disappointment. Honestly, it’s probably the most boring show I have watched recently.

The Rough Start The first few episodes were pure suffering. The storytelling was so slow and poorly executed that I almost dropped the drama right then and there. It completely lacked "drive," and the characters weren't interesting enough to make me care about what happened to them.

Lack of Engagement While the story did get a little bit better after the first few episodes, it still couldn't hold my attention. I found myself doing everything except actually watching the screen. The script was so weak that even when I wasn't paying attention, I felt like I didn't miss much. It lacked the proper hook and momentum needed to keep a viewer engaged.

Final Verdict: If a drama makes you feel like you're "suffering" through the opening episodes, it's usually a bad sign. Cashero had no spark and a very weak script. I wouldn't recommend it if you’re looking for something that actually keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Interesting Concept, But Didn't Live Up to the Hype

I went into this drama with high expectations because the comments were praising it so much, but unfortunately, I left feeling disappointed. While the storyline was definitely interesting, the execution just didn't hit the mark for me. It was an "okay" watch, but it never reached that "wow" factor I was looking for.

The Atmosphere The village setting is undeniably crazy, and it was interesting to see the mystery of the community evolve. The sense of dread was there, but it wasn't enough to make the drama feel "great" in my eyes.

The Execution & Ending The biggest letdown for me was how it finished. It ended on a cliffhanger that basically demands a second season to get any real answers. I find it frustrating when a show doesn't feel complete on its own, and honestly, I don't think I’ll be tuning in for the next season.

Final Verdict: It’s a decent watch if you like creepy village mysteries, but the pacing and the incomplete ending left me feeling underwhelmed. It had potential, but it didn't live up to the praise I saw online.

Prison arc is awesome, but followed by typical American style

From the very start, I was impressed, hooked, and so happy that this movie seemed to be living up to my high expectations—but I couldn't have been more wrong.

Ji Chang Wook never disappoints. His acting was phenomenal, and to be honest, his performance is what carries the entire film. The first half—specifically the prison arc—was flawless. You feel so much empathy for Kwon Tae-jung as you watch all these horrific things happen to him. It was gritty, emotional, and perfectly paced.

However, after the "race" sequence, the story went downhill fast. It shifted from a grounded thriller to a typical, over-the-top American-style action movie. The "plot armor" became too much to ignore; Tae-jung would be lethally injured in one scene, only to appear perfectly healed in the next. It felt incredibly unrealistic and took me out of the story.

To make matters worse, the villain just did not fit. Their acting felt "off" and lacked the depth needed to match Ji Chang Wook’s intensity, which really ruined the experience for me. While the cinematography and the fight scenes were great, the side characters didn't add much value, and the script ultimately let the actors down. I really wish they had stayed with the darker, more serious tone of the prison chapters. It had so much potential, but it was ruined by a messy second half.

Amazing Ride!!!

I absolutely loved it. It made me laugh out loud, but it also made me cry when things got serious. The heart of the movie is their friendship—I love how they always stick together no matter what. Their trip to Thailand was so crazy and unrealistic, but the characters are so charming that you fall for them anyway. A beautiful story about loyalty and memories.

bug names nothing more....

I went into Uprising expecting a grand, sweeping historical epic, but I walked away feeling like I’d just wasted my time. For a movie with this much talent involved, it’s shocking how little actually happens.

The "story," if you can even call it that, felt like a never-ending cycle of the same beat: two friends have a falling out and then they fight. That’s it. There was no real character growth, no depth to the conflict, and absolutely no improvement in the storytelling as the movie dragged on. Instead of an epic war drama, it felt like a repetitive loop of petty resentment that never justified its runtime.

While the production was "fine," it was nothing special. I was expecting something visually groundbreaking or at least a story that moved me, but everything felt incredibly flat. It lacked the "soul" that makes you care about who wins or who survives. By the halfway mark, I found myself checking the time, waiting for it to finally end.

Despite the big names, Uprising is a hollow experience. It’s a repetitive, uninspired story about a friendship gone wrong that fails to deliver any emotional punch. Save yourself the two hours—this one is a "skip."

Amazing performance by Ryu Seung!

I just finished this drama and I’m honestly shocked it’s not more popular. The ratings are way too low for how good this actually is.

I’ll be honest: at the start, I absolutely hated Mr. Kim. He’s incredibly annoying, obsessed with his own success, and the way he treats his family is hard to watch. But please, don't drop it because of him! As the story goes on, you start to see the corporate world through his eyes. It’s a brutal environment where life is just about survival and constantly watching your back. You actually start to feel sorry for him. Watching his journey toward realizing that "less is more" in life was one of the most rewarding character arcs I’ve seen in a long time. And that ending? Perfect.

Ryu Seung-bum delivers a powerhouse performance. He brings a raw, human quality to a character that could have easily remained a caricature. It is truly a shame that this drama remains under the radar and underrated in public ratings.

Just like Ryu’s previous work, Low Life—which is another absolute gem—this series deserves much more recognition. The ending is pitch-perfect, offering a poignant conclusion to a complex story. If you’re looking for a deep, character-driven narrative that rewards your patience, don’t let the low ratings fool you. This is top-tier drama.

great watch even sometimes the pacing is too slow

The first episode of this drama was absolutely epic, setting an incredibly high bar! While the momentum didn't always stay at that peak, the show remained a great watch, offering a refreshing and much-needed take on moral complexity.

The core storyline is incredibly compelling because it avoids simple black-and-white morality. It powerfully demonstrates that people aren't just "good" or "bad," but that good people can hit their lowest point and feel they have no other choice but to engage in difficult actions. It’s hard to judge when you can’t imagine the desperation of losing everything with no one to help you—the drama makes you genuinely empathize with that struggle.

The show truly shines when it focuses on the complex partnership between Eun Su and Lee Gyeong. Their chemistry is fantastic, and you could clearly see the mutual care between them as their bond developed into something like a found family was beautiful. While Eun Su found a genuine purpose and felt truly alive when working alongside him, Lee Gyeong's motivation was primarily driven by his intense desire for revenge and reclaiming his family.

On the production side, the acting is amazing, and Young Kwang is doing a fantastic job—this kind of layered role really suits him well. The OST is also great; I loved the opening song!

However, the pacing did lag at times. The episodes occasionally felt a bit too long, making me check how much time was left. Also, I couldn't stand Eun Su's husband; his greed was the entire reason she was in that terrible situation!

The ending was both satisfying and heartbreaking. I appreciated that we got closure with the other characters, and the final plot twist was gut-wrenching. The greatest tragedy was that Lee Gyeong, after everything he did for revenge to get his family back, ended up all alone again. I was truly hoping that he could finally find happiness. I like that the ending was poetic, making you question the characters' ultimate choice: whether they would choose the path of drugs or life (self-destruction or recovery). I'm definitely hoping for a Season 2 so we can check back in with this incredible, complex pairing! I was genuinely rooting for them to get back together as a family.
