I'm watching the show right now and the r*** scene in ep 21 is disturbing but it's important too right? because…
My question is why **** scene is disturbing even though it happens a lot irl but murder scenes which happens in so many dramas and no one bats an eye or get disturbed by it, even though in every country's law, the penalty for murder is always much more than the penalty for ****. In fact there's so many historical/war dramas where they make it look like **** never happens when in historical real life we know that isn't the case at all, where it is common that winners kill the men and **** the women. The white washing of human nature in television is probably one of the cause why many girls irl are naive and too trusting towards men, all these unrealistic romance dramas where they portray men as buddhas who would do nothing to girls even when they're drunk is not teaching any sort of life lesson and all.
I would argue that disturbing dramas that traumatize people and make them paranoid are actually better in the long run because it would actually help prevent real life tragedies from happening if it can make people paranoid and very guarded at all times. Because life is not unicorn and rainbow like how fluffly dramas make them look like.
season 2 is coming or not depend on how success this season 1 first
Most drama these type of dramas never end completed because the original source material is very long, too long to be completed in 1 season of drama. Even Joy of Life which is very successful need several years for a sequel. Same with King's Avatar. Much more popular/higher budget xuanhuan like Douluo Continent also needs a lot of years and they change all the cast. Maybe if we're lucky we will see a sequel in several years with new cast or more likely, never. I see people in Douban crying about the bad low budget animation.
Unfortunately if you like these type of story you just start need to get used to either reading novel, manhua, or watching donghua if you want to know the continuation. Live action is just much more costly to produce.
Lol he will get 0, like Joy of Life (this drama has no romance tag). Harem drama protagonists in these male novels become asexual to make it palatable to female viewers.
The heaven sword and dragon Sabre try this is a very high budget you’ll do love it
There's a lot of those type of novel/manhua but they don't exist in drama format. Maybe King's Avatar the mc is technically strong throughout (but it's video game they're competing in). Other adapted xuanhuans into drama I knew are Doluo Dalu and Fights Break Sphere.
But yes in general these type of novel/manhua written for male audience does not get drama adaptation because most drama viewers are female, so we get adaptation of novels written for females (where the ML is not op, even if they are by lore they will like lose power and become lovesick silly like in xianxias).
he's bidding his time until the arena fights, by then he won't have a choice but to show his true strength
It follows the original source material.... In an ideal world this would have multiple season, more minutes, more episodes but obviously the budget is too low for that.
This ML is the best ML ever honestly. The most powerful, hides his strength, and nothing can touch him. Many xianxias…
Exactly... one of the reason I like these adaptation of male-centric novel is because the ML is generally more badass instead of the usual lovesick romance protagonist. It's good to focus on other aspects like adventure, comedy, etc instead of just romance romance romance. The funny part is even these novels/manhuas with harem tag still overall will have much less romance than the usual modern romance/xianxia novel lol. You'd think if the ML has multiple wives it would have a lot of romance but no, any generic romance novel with the usual "breakup misunderstanding" trope actually have way more romance.
I don’t care at all about the somehow love interest aka, “That girl…”Very very very low budget production.…
This ML is the best ML ever honestly. The most powerful, hides his strength, and nothing can touch him. Many xianxias ML are supposed to be powerful lore wise like bftb, lbfad, tteotm, but they're so helpless and naive in many episodes for angst sake.
This is only drama watching. Others are just bored stuff. All drama start well but middle way thye go into plot…
Depends on the adaptation. This drama is fast paced it is good, no "increase episode count" by adding minutes which doesn't move the story forward. King's avatar anime is fast paced but the drama adaptation feels slow, they add way too many draggy emotional moments and unnecessary scenes.

Also OP ML doesn't need to be reincarnated, could be just "very talented" like the ML in Versatile Mage (Quanzhi Fashi).
