It will take Japan, no all the asian countries, 100+ years to change. The government of Asian countries are extremely…
I'd say at least until the old generations have long passed away and take their conservative ideas with them. Change is indeed slow though as there is still a lot of people who don't know about LGBT or just don't take it seriously. I think since Taiwan made it legal to marry there is hope for other Asian countries as well. I think in Japan most representation of LGBT has been in comedy or fantastical unrealistic stories. Anything to keep it from being too real for the audiences. While it's good to have something, it's very limiting to the perception on LGBT for the audiences.
So seeing a show like Cherry Magic which does take the relationship a lot more serious than predecessors and is a bit more realistic is good.
While watching this I can't help but keep thinking that Japan needs to hurry up and legalize gay marriage already.…
Others have mentioned it already but yeah Japanese society is not really LGBT+ friendly as of 2020. It may appear that way cause they don't censor like in China but they are very attached to the idea of fitting in and being LGBT+ often makes that more difficult. Anyway here's a Japanese interview about same-sex marriage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TjSBaDNJfeA It definitely looks like younger generations will be more open to the idea but we will see what actually happens. Japan just takes a long time to accept these sorts of changes, especially considering that its a minority group in Japan and most minorities face some difficulties in Japan.
Someone here asked for the full live from a while ago. Here's the Line Live with Machida as guest, without subs as of yet though. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cUY92jP1ZC4
It felt like a fever dream but I found it hilarious. Comments on the video described it as "This is like a real-life…
Yeah its basically necessary to watch this movie WITH comments cause it makes the experience 10 times better. For those interested in what its like, cause we need to preserve these comments for future generations...
''less than a minute in and i saw someone typing on a computer that wasn't even turned on. Dying here''
''This man just returned from overseas and the only English he used in the conversation is I like sushi I’m dead''
''Is anyone else peeved/cringing about the fact that Tsuburaya is supposed to be amazing at violin but he ain't even HOLDING the bow right?''
'' "It's almost time for me to water my plants" LMAOOOO''
''My man full on just did a touchdown jump on the desk.''
'' -"I'm not into men" -"Sorry to hear that" ''
''You know it's going to be ultra gay when they start off arguing about who's going to be the top''
''"i've been watching you for a while" - flashback from 2 hours ago''
''Angrily plays French Horn''
''is none really gunna talk about how when he was smoking the cigarette in the bedroom it wasnt even lit ? no? ok''
''this is the worst acting I've ever seen in my entire life but I love it lol''
''these two are LITERALLY that one mini comic of the dude that sleeps with a picture of his rival/"enemy" ''
I'm very thankful for the comment section cause I watched partly raw and partly with subs and have very little idea about whats going on. Usually I love chaotic stuff like swaps but in BLs it's usually just troublesome.
I'll try watching it since I'm curious what they're gonna do but it seems a bit too scary for me. The comedy tag is the reason I'm willing to try but hopefully its not too dark humor.
It has some funny moments but I just watch this older stuff cause I have a custom watchlist to fill. Whoever was in charge of the background music/sound went all out though, a bit too much. Also whoever thought sharp bell-music was a good idea for romance scenes.. well... it wasn't. The cringe I've survived with this series is a lot but I guess the old stuff has its charms.
https://news.livedoor.com/article/detail/19026409/ An interview article about the cast and their thoughts on the…
Honestly this article has been amazing to read. Both actors were apparently shocked to receive the offer for the drama but were like ''ok well, the manga is pretty cute though''. Also that special running style that was apparently invented just for Adachis character. Waiting for that promised kabedon and the hugs now.
Heartbreaking but beautiful too. I recommend watching it but it's not a fluffy series at all. You gotta appreciate realism and the raw life experiences for this one. I do so I recommend it.
Yeah I couldn't find it on Myreadingmanga anymore. As of 2020 its on Youtube somewhere though. Interesting movie, feels pretty short and is from the perspective of the girl seeing it all happen.
Alright so what I take from this is a few things... Manga story isn't finished yet so there's no way of knowing…
Yeah that'd be cute ^^ I think Adachi will be fine with his surroundings since he knows the basics about his colleagues now but a relationship can be tough with less communication.

Yeah I'm mostly a fan of Mew and Gulf and not specifically of their series. I didn't watch the prequel and its been fine for me, just jump right into it and see if you like it.
Episode 2 was cute but man the foreigners lmao. ''Isn't that an invasion of privacy?'' ''That was the sacrifice I made ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ '' I'm half watching this for the couple and half for the dramatic foreign acting.
