I don't actually watch this drama or even plan on ever watching it but I've heard the stories. Much respect to the dedicated Alice-watchers who kept at it until the final episode!
Okay who rated this drama less than a 10 guys? The rating just went down .1 point to 9.3. For real though, am hoping that the series keeps a general high score.
Well-said. I am sick and tired of people who cannot praise an amazing series like that without lambasting others…
BL may be different and from different countries but at least it has 1 thing common. China would ban it all if they could. So all our differences aside we are all still in the same fight for more BL. We can have thousands of talks about the problematic side but lets not forget that we are all BL fans in the end.
I've even read a comment saying that K is a perv because of the PJ thing! O_o I was like, ohhh so it can be interpreted…
Kurosawa out there being the perfect guy and yet people will still find faults smh. He is imagining his crush in cute clothes, that's like the most innocent level stuff.
They didn't have sex, they fake kissed. OK, maybe they did kiss for real LOL but they didn't have sex.You have…
Classic BL is for example 2gether or Senjou no Bokura. Yaoi is for example Double Mints or Mood Indigo. Basically yaoi just features more explicit scenes and can feature some darker themes.
For any new fans, don't forget to check out the official first episode too. It's not subbed but it'll be great to show some international support for this show at their youtube channel! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Z3jU2P8eQw
Not only wasn't she a third-wheel, but also one of our allies. LOL
While I know that some people dislike seeing fujoshi-characters in BL and want to see more diversity in female characters... I can't help but love the fujoshi-characters. As long as they aren't doing toxic stuff they are the only characters you can truly trust in a BL.
Also yes she is very much a visual thinker Hahaha xD
For anyone that wants to read ahead/doesn't mind spoilers. The Twitter account (@toyotayou) of the manga artist sometimes posts certain manga pages on their Twitter. Just keep scrolling down their Twitter page and you'll find multiple. So while its all in Japanese you can kinda guess the context of scenes from the image. The drama follows the manga so you can get a preview of upcoming events if you want.
Okay. I can finally feel this show is getting really popular among BL fandom based on the views on those illegal…
I've noticed the increase of interest as well and am really glad since this means a lot for future series. Japanese BL dramas had mostly been consisting of movies until recent years. It is strange that Japanese production of BLs was this low but I guess the focus was mostly on animation and manga.
Around 2007 there was an initial interest in filmed BL with movies like Takumi-kun but that style of BL (kinda over the top manga-like) died out after a few years. Then the next big thing was Ossan's love but I think the amount of comedy made it less appealing to a lot of BL fans (not me though, Haruta&Maki 4 life). I also assume that succes stories of the animated series (like Yuri!!! on ice) influenced the rise of BL dramas. Definitely it was Ossan's Love that directly paved the way for what we have today though
what does the water bottle drop means?? is that a recurrent situation in BL or am I just too dumb to get it??…
Oh I watched without subs cause I can understand enough basic Japanese and I've read the manga. I've seen some dedicated fans provide translations in the comments though and those are generally good. I think most people wait for fansubs though, probably best to do that
