I thought people were overexaggerating in the comments but having just finished it, I can concur that it is dreadful.

Awful script and story. Awful acting. I remember the FL being a good actress in previous shows but her facial muscles barely moved this entire show (don't know if it is down to surgery or regression in skill).

The characters are so bland and the attempts at writing them (and trying to sell) arcs (such as redemption, love etc.) was so bad. Not one iota of the attempted character development was believable with what they were actually showing/acting.

The proliferation of kdramas due to Netflix has really impacted quality. As they care more about volume than anything else, throwing anything at the wall to see what sticks. Whilst this show had a bit of a generic premise there was potential in the original outline.

This movie is awful

The plot only moves forward due to stupidity and massive coincidences.

Hyeri just gave an official statement because people are losing their minds over this situation and are creating…
The June article is not a thing. Hyeri's statement does not make HSH come out in any better light. She put it out because Dispatch were putting out incorrect information

how can you possibly shame her by directly insulting a woman as stupid? your statement is utterly pointless as…
Getting caught lying and digging yourself further into a hole is the definition of stupid. So yes, I'll stick by that.

She's honestly an idiot at this point and I can't believe her agency let her post all those messages. The article she claimed she read in June about them breaking up wasn't even real. So she deleted that comment and has now ended up closing her blog.

She can't keep her story straight and it's making her look pretty guilty of doing something wrong/immoral. Incredibly defensive and lying about stuff isn't a good look.

Ngl I don't really get why there's so many negative reviews for this. Yeah there were parts that were badly written…
I can only handle so many characters making dumb decisions continuously.
On Night Has Come Dec 10, 2023
This show just doesn't work logically, the decision making makes no sense. It's like they want to keep all the stereotypical kdrama school characters in the show as long as possible

If the bully who harasses everyone continues to stay alive it makes zero sense.

I don't understand Wi Ha Joon.

He was one of the main characters in one of the biggest shows in the world. He can act and he has ML looks.

So how does he only get secondary roles in Korean shows since then? He was the second lead in Worst of Evil and now this.

Very odd career choices.

I'm struggling with the lack of tactfulness the ML is showing

I know kdramas famously have incredibly incompetent cops that can't catch anyone but this is a bit ridiculous. Apparently disabling cameras is all you need to do as a criminal

To be fair, Gicheul has been suspicuous of Junmo from the start. That's why he did a thorough background check…
A background check is natural, that's not super smart. You're the leader of a criminal gang and a guy comes out of nowhere who also happens to be friends with a cop trying to get involved. Doing a background check is the least he should be doing.

There was clearly a gap between him getting the boss killed and Gicheul telling him he's not sending money, which is when the "attack" happens and JCW's character saves the day. It was only after that attack that you heard any of his subordinates mention the idea that maybe he needs more protection due to the Busan group.
On The Worst of Evil Sep 30, 2023
I like it but I also think there have been stupid things going on

The fact that they never even came up with a proper alibi for the ML is pure hilarity. They were planning on telling his wife for weeks on end that he was away chasing a suspect?

WHJ's character will also have to be an idiot to not realise all of the coincidences as soon as the ML entered the picture. But then he also told the big gang boss in Busan that he wasn't going to send him money anymore and just went on like everything was normal so maybe he is an idiot.
On Song of the Bandits Sep 29, 2023
3 episodes in and this show really feels like "style over substance".

A lot of dumb decisions and plot points occurring just so they can create a big action set piece.

I don't mind it but I really hope the writing becomes tighter

As much as I'm enjoying this show, the lack of Jo In-Sung is massively disappointing after waiting so long for this.

I was under the impression this would be his comeback drama but he's barely in it.

Even if he's in the entire last three episodes I don't think it justifies how prominent he has been in the marketing.

Well guyz we still don't know the backstory of Lee Kang Hun fathers uncanny powers ability. I think the guy who…
No his father works for the SK government and was part of the team that captured Doosik and then worked under Juwon.

He was the one that shook the hand of Juwon and broke it.
