Pretty obvious he didn't. Murdering an innocent mother and her child makes him irredeemable and that's not happening.

Well that is up there as one of the worst second halves of a show I've seen in a long time.

What an absolute drop in quality between the parts. Actually impressed about how bad that ended up.

It felt like the show had two completely different writers and the tonal shift/story was so badly done.

What a shame. The whole "reborn" aspect just felt pointless in the end and therefore a majority of the show seemed pretty irrelevant to the final conclusion. Very confused that's how they decided to close the show. Nearly the entire show was "repentance" with near zero impact on the final outcome.

How did him saving the grandad changing the original timeline or any of the storyline when he was reborn impact anything in the end

Not sure if anyone here as seen Once Upon a Time in High School but that glass smashing scene in the last episode gave me huge flashbacks to the end of that film. Would be very surprised if it wasn't inspired from there in some way considering it was a very popular film.

Kwon Sang-woo's character fights a bunch of bullies at the end and has had enough of the school system.

See from like minute 8 onwards (if you never plan to watch the film obviously - really good film so would recommend!). Even his expression there reminds me of Si-eun

Agree with people that prefer the 2nd FL with the ML so far. They have a cute/nice dynamic.

What's the balance of the show in terms of comedy and seriousness? Seeing comedy as the first ag is putting me off a bit as I'm not a fan of shows that are light-hearted.

Exactly. You can also see in the 1st episode his dad has been shirking responsibilities persisting with his drawings even though it's not bringing the family much money, cowardly leaving the rest of the family to deal with his creditors. It's only after the accident he changes.

If you don't mind family drama you should stick with it. If you don't like that I'd say drop as that's what most of this season seems to be. Someone has told me before that it slows down on the FL family drama but it only seems to pick up.

This show would be better if the majority of the show was flashbacks. The actors are much stronger and the story more interesting.

The actress playing Bomi looks confused with the same facial expression 90% of the time and the other actors in the present also act awkwardly.

I watched 5 episodes and I was already struggling with the female leads family drama...don't know if I can take a dozen or so more episodes like this for it to get to other interesting aspects haha

Finished episode one and there's too much comedy in it for me/the comedy doesn't work for me.

Does that level of comedy carry on throughout subsequent episodes or does it get more serious?

Does the description above not just give the entire show away? I'm confused as to what I just read. It sounds like all the main plot points.

Trying to watch this but hard to take seriously when the female lead looks older than the male lead, even though she's meant to be his juniors by decades. Incredibly odd casting choice.
