The series is getting better and better. E8 had some powerfull scenes. This is certainly the most realistic Kdrama. The young people (and their dads) storyline is my favourite so far eventhough I am middle aged, and I didn't have similar personal experiences. But, I thought the dialogue is excellent, and that young actress is really superb.
If there is such a thing like an objective evaluation, then this is probably the best I have seen so far. A fantastic depiction of ordinary lives. BUT, I don't think this will surpass "My Mister", or even few other ones. The issue is that the series is going for breadth, and while this will give us an opportunity to delve into more , we are going to miss the depth of having one story. That said, if the standards continue to be that high, then this is certainly going to be in my top 10.
I am against S2 as a matter of principle. In my opinion the series wrapped up well. We don't need to be told every single thing how it ended. Also, this is essentially slice of life. A bit of open ending is perfectly fine. I moved to K-dramas to escape the American shows and their endless seasons. I really would hate to see K-dramas going that route.
I am at episode 10. The first 7 episodes were good and very entertaining. There is absolutely nothing new, but it is well executed show. E 8-10 the plot started to become a bit ridiculous with increasing amount of suspension of disebelif required. I must say that it is still entertaining though.

My only problem with it was its length. If this was the typical 16 episodes, it would have been an easy 9/10, but unfortunately it dragged BIG time in the middle.

Way too cutsie for my taste. Also, I didn't care for Chan and his rowing one bit (btw, I was SHOCKED to learn that he is the ML in Business Proposal.). This is the third drama where SHS is female lead where I find it disappointing. It is a pardox. Eventhough I think she is an amazing actress , for some reason I don't enjoy her dramas that much with the exception of "Mr Queen", which I loved. 5.5/10

I decided to watch "Another Miss Oh" before watching "My Liberation Notes", which I haven't watched yet. I think you should watch it, because you can see the seeds to My Mister. It is nowhere as good as My Mister. It has a LOT of silly and cring "humour", but when it is good, it is very good. I gave it 7/10. I think My Mister is one of those rare cases where everything clicked. The writing is exceptionally good, but also the rest of the creative team. I think My Mister is even better on second and subsequent viewings.
Remakes are rarely as good as the originals. That said, sometimes they are not so bad. My Mister is one of my all time favourite in any language (Top korean), but I am curious about this one, and I will certainly give it a go.
It is a good drama. The main plot is good with very endearing FL. Unfortunately, I didn't like 80% of the humour, and didn't connect with most side characters apart from FL Mom, who is fantatsic, and the other OHY. I found the brother and his young gf super annoying. The sister, apart from her more serious scenes, also very cringe. The show also dragged towards the end. But, when it concentrated on the dialogues/interaction between the leads (also FL and her Mom) and their inner monolgues it was very good. So, objectively, it is like 6.5. But, I enjoyed lots of things about it so bumping it to 7.
The last episode was very good. I had a nice cry lol. I really feel happy with how things ended, and glad that they managed to stick the landing. I am though a person who doesn't evaluate the series based on last episode only. The series had many flaws such as little chemistry between the leads, unfocused and muddled plot, and just overall poor pacing. But as a whole, it was a decent series worth the time. It had some interesting questions, and some excellent emotional scenes. The chemistry between female characters was very good as well. 6/10 (see my rating system for context if you wish)
I am curious though! I mean if FL wants to be close to ML and help him, she can actually try as a human instead…

This was my first K-drama back in 2019, so it will always hold a special place in my heart. I can't say it hooked me to K-dramas, but it made me aware how good they are, and started my gradual journey, until I reached 2023 where 80% of my TV are K-dramas. I have recently re-watched my favourite parts. And I had a blast! I laughed and cried. I have now watched about 30 K-dramas, but these two are still one of the best couples. Their chemistry is amazing. Of course the plot is utterly ridiculous lol. It is easier to believe in Aliens invading than our ML believing that FL is a Robot, but who cares? lool.

I just don't find most of the humour that good (Scenes with her boss , or ML Mom, are actually very cringy and not even funny imo). I liked more the dry humour (The FL Mom is great), but this writer is at her best when she writes contemplative and melancholic scenes. Those scenes are great, and one can see how she perfected them later in "My Mister". I am certainly going to keep watching, but I am hoping to get more scenes with conversations instead of silly humour.

Why things have to be extreme? Opinion on anything is a spectrum. I can watch drama, and like some aspects of it and dislike others. Also, I can't stop watching every drama that I don't like something about, because I won't be able to watch anything. Saying I don't like something about drama doesn't mean I am hating on it.
